As real Americans, we must do everything we can to support Paul. He is the only GOP that is mature enough to admit our country has problems. Follow our constitution, vote Paul. Everyone can help
I'm from New Zealand. I have never voted in my life. Finally I find a politician who realises being at war with everyone with oil doesn't work any more.
I tried to make a donation to Ron Paul on his website but they wouldn't let me 'cause I wasn't an American Citizen!!
What America does influences the whole world. I'm a citizen of the world and I know Ron Paul would like to think I can vote for who ever I want in the world. I think i deserve my first vote of someone who I finally believe in.

mccain reminds me of my drunk uncle so much it's freaky. Same sense of importance, same irritating smug look, same not-so-subtle ways to try to win approval.
ppl like mccain and hannity are so sickeningly smug, that's why it's ohhhhhhhhh so great when ron paul smokes them-he's knows exactly how to respond to their psychological games.
Paul throws down facts. McCain makes a few one liners and hopes for the audience to laugh. If only Paul had the aggressiveness that gov Christy has and he coulda nailed him to the wall directly.
OBAMA U STARTED UR CAREER AS A PRESIDENT WITH HEALTHCARE REFORM, IF YOUR MOM WAS ALIVE SHE WOULD BE SO PROUD OF YOU! Do not take a chance - it's too important so register REPUB - you can always change it after the election if u wish - pass it on
"Presidents are selected not elected" FDR. And now that we know who does the selection we also know who the real enemy is. The same enemy that controls our media, our money and, our government. That means they control what we think, what our money is worth, and the corrupt politicians that handed us to them. It was our enemy before our last Revolution and will be the cause of the next one. Revolution or Civil War depends on knowing who the enemy is. END the FED!
Wow McCain made a great point there, they only want to trade burcas and fly one way.... Really??? That's the best he could do is a racist joke. What a bunch of idiots.

Take 30 seconds to sign your name and show your support as we try to get all of his followers unified in one place. Tell America that we will NOT settle for any other candidate. Spread the word.
It doesn't matter who gave how much to whom. My point is the regulators are as corrupt as the regulatees. So I don't really think one NEEDS to understand Enron specifically (tho you should feel special bcs i studied up on it just for you), because it wouldn't chage my ideas or the facts about government vs. market regulation. Market forces are more objective than DC politicians are. Too many agendas. Now, if you like, we can have a conversation about campaign finance.
My greatest concern about Ron Paul is that he believes in the failed ideas of Ayn Rand. Even the Randites now admit that Rand's ideas on deregulation are at the root cause of the US economic collapse. America is built on the idea of E Pluribus Unum, "from many, one" the essence of collectivism. TOGETHER we can lick almost any problem, separate we can be defeated.
@exenrontexas If you're referring to Alan Greenspan as "the Randites," well, that's one person and one person who sold out everything he believed in to become one of the architects of inflationary policies which are clearly at the root of all this. I mean, Bernanke continuted this with QE1 and QE2 and what good has it done? He himself admitted it failed. Ayn Rand's ideas could not possibly have been proven failures because they've never actually been implemented to any real, meaningful extent.
@drme83 Yes, I am referring to Greenspan but also Phil Gramm, Ken Lay, Jeff Skilling and Mitch McConnell who each in their own way have illustrated the failures of deregulation and laissez faire capitalism. And you are correct that Rands economic views have not full been implemented and thank God for that since it would cause the downfall of America and it's economy. Total reliance on market forces is like removing all the guard from the bank and leaving all the money on the sidewalk, unguarded.
@exenrontexas Well, I'm not sure why that would be such a bad thing since all that paper money is worth about as much as toilet paper. But the problem with this economy and this government is NOT that there isn't enough regulation but that there's way too much of it. All these company paying all this money to keep up with all the regulations and taxes. You can't be serious that deregulation would be the end of the American economy. Seems to me like we're looking at that WITH all the regulations.
@drme83 The only ones who serious want the removal of regulators are the criminals who abuse the system and the brainless dupes they have deceived. America needs WISE regulation based on science and the will of the people. Repeatedly large corporations have abused America's laws for short term profits which means a bigger bonus. Typically those corps end up on a downward spiral and end in bankruptcy or takeovers. I know I worked for three such large corps.
@exenrontexas Well, you've actually made the argument I was going to rebut with. You said: "Typically those corps [the abusive, criminal variety] end up on a downward spiral and end in bankruptcy or takeovers..." That's exactly what happens when market forces are allowed to deal with such abusive entities. There are clear darwinian forces at work there: such corps are not fit to be in operation so they fail. No government regulation needed. Let the market teach these lessons, not DC or the IRS.
@drme83 Well except that those market forces that you claim are so holy do not do what you claim. Example (one which I unfortunately have intimate experience with): Enron with the aid of some of those who I mentioned as Randites and whose CEO, Ken Lay, was a rabid Randite, succeed in fully deceiving those market forces UNTIL one high level executive blew the whistle. The regulators and market forces had no control over the largest corporate fraud in the history of man.
@drme83 And it was BUSH and the GOP who disarmed regulators who might have caught ENRON and the crooks at ENRON, Ken Lay, Jeff Skilling, Rich Kinder and Wendy Gramm intimidated the market forces into going along with their great deception. Unfortunately only a few others have been "caught" and there are many, many who have yet to be caught. America needs wise regulation to catch them and keep the rest of them honest.
@exenrontexas Look , Enron has become so entrenched in the political system that any attempt to pass regulatory legislation would just exacerbate the problem. Enron has given vast sums of money to both Democrats and Republicans. That just means that regulatory efforts are counterproductive. There is the potential for corruption on both ends. For that reason, market forces, while not perfect, are far preferable to the statist alternative. They don't tend to be corrupted by the political system.
@drme83 .I don't think that you understood what happened at ENRON at all but many do not so you aren't alone. I started working there BEFORE Ken Lay and so I can compare the vastly different management styles of the Lay regime and his predecessors. First of all Lay gave six times more to the GOP than to the DEMS and Enron financed the campaigned of Tom DeLay, John Cornyn, Kay Bailey Hutchinson, Dick Armey and George BUSH. Enron paid the legal fees in Bush V Gore and the Inaugeration of BUSH.
@drme83 When Ken Lay was asked why he so rabidly supported BUSH, he said because it was good for ENRON's business and it was, his criminal enterprise. Lay contributed massive sums of shareholder money to community and charitable projects and carefully bought off politicians to manufacture law to specifically benefit ENRON. Ever hear of the ENRON loophole written by Phil Gramm? Or the lobbying for SCOTUS nominees? ENRON was a market force for...corruption. More later.
RON PAUL IS GOING TO BE PROSECUTED BY UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! ITS UNCONSTITUTIONAL TO CALL AMERICAN PEOPLE INVADERS AND INITIATORS OF WARS.
RON PAUL SAID THE USA INVADES COUNTRIES AND STARTS WARS, WHICH GIVES USA A BAD REPUTATION AROUND THE WORLD , THEREFORE IT IS CONSIDERED A CRIME . A US CITIZEN WHO
WAS BORN IN USA CANT GO AGAINST GOVERNMENT POLICIES WHICH MIGHT TREATEN THE FUTURE
You can't help people come to conclusions with facts. Most people are intellectually lazy and they want someone they think they can trust to tell them who to vote for.
The CIA will NEVER permit Ron Paul to win the White House. The CIA put Saddam in power. The CIA put the Shah in power. The CIA put Mubarak in power. The CIA has been behind most of the petty dictators in the world because the OPPOSE democracy. Obama is terrified that if he opposes them he will get whacked just like JFK did and there are MANY in America who have been deceived to support such actions. The CIA likes...sheep.
@brod2man true..we are all fucked RIGHT NOW. especially if the TSA is allowed to set up cambodian check points on all the highways so that when you and I go to work on a daily basis we can look forward to be HARRASED by the good ol boys in ( well i dont know what color they wear but steroid pumping cops wear dark blue) more than the cops, UNLESS we can get Paul in office and more decent people that share his beliefs in the constitution and our civil liberties.
McCain is a neocon, creating a Globalist state controlled by America is what they stand for, coincedentally both Bushes were neocons too, the only thing Ron Paul has going against him is his high pitched squecky voice, though I dont think he should be President I do think Ron Paul is a good congressman for America
@hailtotheking324 AWWW Play the race card much?, Ive got nothing against the jewish community but seriously Israel wouldnt have thrived as it has without US aid, hes simply stating that this relativly new country can begin to stand out its own two feet Hes not being racist! ;even if anyone is slightly negative about a country with a strong religious foundation, it doesnt mean hes/there publically attacking the Jewish faith,
1. Voters should be smart enough to recognize that on their own.
2. He doesn't need to stoop to that kind of level. Paul has always hated how other politicians bicker about irrelevant issues, and to try putting emphasis on whether or not another candidate is racist is just hypocritical and a waste of time.
@1danyol1 Yeah, you're right. RP is above that but I see him take so much abuse from these other clowns during the debates that it gets frustrating to deal with.
Ron Paul maintains a professional demeanor. McCain's dumb smirking is rude and not presidential. Ron didn't lose his cool or even call McCain out on his rudeness. He sticks to the points and his ideology. McCain just wants to please the ignorance of the masses. Ron Paul 2012!
@Ician100 SHUT UP. I'm a Libertarian, and I also disagree with groam6666, but you're just acting like a dick. People like you are the ones who are giving us a bad name.
god i tellya man... listen,,,, if there was ever a person i would love to knock the living daylights out of....John Mccain.. with that big fucking shit eat fucking grin on his face
@Ician100 I am a Libertarian, not a neo-con. I just disagree with Ron Paul on isolationism. We should have a sense of proportion, especially when it comes to foreign policy. I've been an opponent of most interventionism, but oil is still important and in our interest. At any rate, Ron Paul will have my vote.
Just because I do not agree with Ron Paul 100% does not make me an enemy. I do agree that the current political parties need to go.
You have bought the MSM talking point hook, line and sinker....
How is it "Isolationist" to have trade, travel, commerce and dialogue with ALL foreign nations- but entangling alliances with none?? Isn't invading these countries and pissing off the world (even our allies) causing us to be isolated??? It just baffles me that people cant see through that bullshit. That is HARDLY an isolationist....North Korea is Isolationist- get a clue man!
The only thing I disagree about with Ron Paul is his stance on this particular foreign policy. For the moment, we get the bulk of our oil from the Middle East. I don't like it, we should drill domestically, but until then here is my problem. We cannot afford to destabilize the region by leaving, considering Russia is a big supporter of the Syrians, Iran, etc.
I know Ron Paul would drill domestically, so it wouldn't be a big issue, but pulling out completely is politically unrealistic.
McCain's only defense? The classic smug look at the audience hoping they laugh with him. ITS CALLED PANDERING TO THE AUDIENCE YOU OLD FUCKING PRICK. IT'S IMMATURE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND SHOWS YOURE LEVEL OF INTELLIGENCE.
sad fact is that ron paul will never be elected because your vote dosent count for shit. fixed, fixed, fixed 100% fixed. just watch 2012 he wont win even though he should.
Ron Paul should of been like "Who the "blank" is this Douche bag? [look all serious] I mean the guy makes sense in his argument, on a subject that all Americans take very seriously, and this sniveling little turd cracks a stupid joke that sounds like it came from David Letterman (so its not funny). McCain should of said last supper, not thanksgiving, because he is basically sending our troops to an unwinnable bog. No more Americans need to die for this special interest turd. Ron Paul 2012!
Unreal, the one guy up there giving us straight medicine - no sugar - no BS and we nominate "built to fail" - jackass - middle of the road - open borders - McCain. If Ron Paul runs again and people don't LISTEN this time I'm seriously gonna take up residency on an uncharted island in the Pacific. Just me and my volleyball.
While I don't agree with McCain on so many things, I think if I had to choose between him and Barack Obama again, I'd choose McCain once more. I really think McCain would have come a little more central in his policy if the American people asked him to. Obama on the other hand has a kind of a his way or the highway mentality.
You know, I have great faith in Ron Paul, and I wish (WISH!) he'd be more advertised as a candidate. I was wondering, though, why no one really even knows about him? Is it simply because the media doesn't show him enough, or is there some other reason?
@mrsciencecheese exactly! apparantly its become radical to support the constitution...for that i'm called a radical by democrats and republicans every day.
Paul will never be President, and his views against the Civil Rights Act and any kind of taxpayer-funded healthcare, even for children, are beyond contempt. Big deal, he's anti-war. There are other issues, too.
Look at that jackass laughing at Paul, knowing that it doesn't matter how intelligently Ron Paul puts the facts, knowing that no one is really listening to him, understanding that Paul is right and he, McCain, is spewing out BS. It's really disturbing - McCain can say a retardedly racist comment and get laughs, cheers... the party nomination. Ron Paul can tell it how it is, say how we should fix it, and get essentially ignored. But I guess that's what happen when the super-rich run it all.
I'm afraid thats not how money works. Besides, western civilization doesn't own any money, they are lending it from the major banking cartels and then paying it back to them with interest, oh ye, and the interest is being payed off by lending more money...
Indeed, its one of the major problems in the world today. The fact that everything is being run by the major banking families like the rothchilds the JPMorgans etc. Its no surprise that Obama just appointed an ex JPMorgan guy to be the new Chief of Staffs in the white house...
@XenonSCRB Oh yes. Banking is one of the most corrupt systems our modern society is built upon. And all these puppets who slide from administration to administration should be tried for treason. It also doesnt help our economy when these goons collect multiple pensions because they move from group to group. Plus the millions they will collect on lecture circuits. World is full of profiteers.
Not very smart of McCain to reject Afghanistan like that. It's a country suspected to be very rich in minerals- which I'm sure would be of use for the US.
And McCain got the nomination? Seriously? That is the best the GOP had to offer? Send another GOP Rhino like McCain to the general election and I will vote Obama just to spite the RNC.
Only if Americans were free thinkers, fucking makes me pissed off how he lossed. Everyone in the party disrespected him. Fucking people didn't want him to finish talking because they were to fucking deaf to hear the truth.
Dr Ron Paul please come and visit Manila (or live here hehe). He have only had that fat slob Gore over poisoning our minds with that thing that he talks about. I would pay Php2500.00 or even Php5000.00 just to hear you talk about freedom and liberty even just for half an hour! Please! We need you. It would truly be a great honor to meet you. Yeah baby!
How do people not see that McCain is full of shit and Paul is giving them the answers to their problems? Paul spends the first minute or so of this video giving answers while McCain responds with a stupid ass joke. Is this really a joking matter, you fucking idiot? And this guy became the main Republican candidate. Fucking incredible.
@Lateralus8808 McCain is among the most unsavory characters in public life. I don't think he realizes how despised he is. John McCain is a big shmuck!
McCain is an ignorant moron and so is Romney, Julianni and all the war for profit crew.....If you love war soooo much send your own children in to these countries and hopefully they will be killed so you can brand them heroes for the good of corporate interests. We won"t miss them....All of these neocon rich offspring are usually just a waste of skin.
To all the republican politicians who want to stay in iraq and continue the war, take off your suits, pick up your guns and fight it yourselves. Too many kids are dying because of your "win, win" ego bullshit.
the only reason i can find people dont vote for ron paul is because of the "wasted vote" idea. IF HE IS GOING TO WIN IN 2012, WE HAVE TO GET THE WORD OUT. TELL PEOPLE TO AT LEAST LISTEN TO HIM. HE HAS A BETTER CHANCE THAN EVER TO WIN AND WE NEED TO PUSH IT>0

Now, if you like, we can have a conversation about campaign finance.
drme83 6 months ago
My greatest concern about Ron Paul is that he believes in the failed ideas of Ayn Rand. Even the Randites now admit that Rand's ideas on deregulation are at the root cause of the US economic collapse. America is built on the idea of E Pluribus Unum, "from many, one" the essence of collectivism. TOGETHER we can lick almost any problem, separate we can be defeated.
exenrontexas 6 months ago
@exenrontexas If you're referring to Alan Greenspan as "the Randites," well, that's one person and one person who sold out everything he believed in to become one of the architects of inflationary policies which are clearly at the root of all this. I mean, Bernanke continuted this with QE1 and QE2 and what good has it done? He himself admitted it failed. Ayn Rand's ideas could not possibly have been proven failures because they've never actually been implemented to any real, meaningful extent.
drme83 6 months ago
@drme83 Yes, I am referring to Greenspan but also Phil Gramm, Ken Lay, Jeff Skilling and Mitch McConnell who each in their own way have illustrated the failures of deregulation and laissez faire capitalism. And you are correct that Rands economic views have not full been implemented and thank God for that since it would cause the downfall of America and it's economy. Total reliance on market forces is like removing all the guard from the bank and leaving all the money on the sidewalk, unguarded.
exenrontexas 6 months ago
@exenrontexas Well, I'm not sure why that would be such a bad thing since all that paper money is worth about as much as toilet paper. But the problem with this economy and this government is NOT that there isn't enough regulation but that there's way too much of it. All these company paying all this money to keep up with all the regulations and taxes. You can't be serious that deregulation would be the end of the American economy. Seems to me like we're looking at that WITH all the regulations.
drme83 6 months ago
@drme83 The only ones who serious want the removal of regulators are the criminals who abuse the system and the brainless dupes they have deceived. America needs WISE regulation based on science and the will of the people. Repeatedly large corporations have abused America's laws for short term profits which means a bigger bonus. Typically those corps end up on a downward spiral and end in bankruptcy or takeovers. I know I worked for three such large corps.
exenrontexas 6 months ago
@exenrontexas Well, you've actually made the argument I was going to rebut with. You said: "Typically those corps [the abusive, criminal variety] end up on a downward spiral and end in bankruptcy or takeovers..." That's exactly what happens when market forces are allowed to deal with such abusive entities. There are clear darwinian forces at work there: such corps are not fit to be in operation so they fail. No government regulation needed. Let the market teach these lessons, not DC or the IRS.
drme83 6 months ago
@drme83 Well except that those market forces that you claim are so holy do not do what you claim. Example (one which I unfortunately have intimate experience with): Enron with the aid of some of those who I mentioned as Randites and whose CEO, Ken Lay, was a rabid Randite, succeed in fully deceiving those market forces UNTIL one high level executive blew the whistle. The regulators and market forces had no control over the largest corporate fraud in the history of man.
exenrontexas 6 months ago
@drme83 And it was BUSH and the GOP who disarmed regulators who might have caught ENRON and the crooks at ENRON, Ken Lay, Jeff Skilling, Rich Kinder and Wendy Gramm intimidated the market forces into going along with their great deception. Unfortunately only a few others have been "caught" and there are many, many who have yet to be caught. America needs wise regulation to catch them and keep the rest of them honest.
exenrontexas 6 months ago
@exenrontexas Sorry but it was the control, i.e. regulations, that bush put over the market which created the whole thing.
Charlie8417 6 months ago
@exenrontexas Look , Enron has become so entrenched in the political system that any attempt to pass regulatory legislation would just exacerbate the problem. Enron has given vast sums of money to both Democrats and Republicans. That just means that regulatory efforts are counterproductive. There is the potential for corruption on both ends. For that reason, market forces, while not perfect, are far preferable to the statist alternative. They don't tend to be corrupted by the political system.
drme83 6 months ago
@drme83 .I don't think that you understood what happened at ENRON at all but many do not so you aren't alone. I started working there BEFORE Ken Lay and so I can compare the vastly different management styles of the Lay regime and his predecessors. First of all Lay gave six times more to the GOP than to the DEMS and Enron financed the campaigned of Tom DeLay, John Cornyn, Kay Bailey Hutchinson, Dick Armey and George BUSH. Enron paid the legal fees in Bush V Gore and the Inaugeration of BUSH.
exenrontexas 6 months ago
@drme83 When Ken Lay was asked why he so rabidly supported BUSH, he said because it was good for ENRON's business and it was, his criminal enterprise. Lay contributed massive sums of shareholder money to community and charitable projects and carefully bought off politicians to manufacture law to specifically benefit ENRON. Ever hear of the ENRON loophole written by Phil Gramm? Or the lobbying for SCOTUS nominees? ENRON was a market force for...corruption. More later.

@HughGWrekshin No, he shouldn't have.
1. Voters should be smart enough to recognize that on their own.
2. He doesn't need to stoop to that kind of level. Paul has always hated how other politicians bicker about irrelevant issues, and to try putting emphasis on whether or not another candidate is racist is just hypocritical and a waste of time.

I do agree that the current political parties need to go.
groam6666 9 months ago
@groam6666
That is HARDLY an isolationist....North Korea is Isolationist- get a clue man!
soundgarden21 9 months ago
As Christopher Hitchens said, it's quite frightening just how senile John McCain seemed.
SkullOfYorick 10 months ago
The only thing I disagree about with Ron Paul is his stance on this particular foreign policy. For the moment, we get the bulk of our oil from the Middle East. I don't like it, we should drill domestically, but until then here is my problem. We cannot afford to destabilize the region by leaving, considering Russia is a big supporter of the Syrians, Iran, etc.
I know Ron Paul would drill domestically, so it wouldn't be a big issue, but pulling out completely is politically unrealistic.
