I think that's a very harsh judgement! Haley's voice is absolutely gorgeous, and so is Gaga's. In a very different way of course, but it still is. I had the pleasure of hearing Lady Gaga in concert and she does things with her voice that Haley could never do. They are both amazingly talented vocalists! :)

I think Lady Gaga has a pretty decent voice she just needs to work on developing it instead of cheating with technology and ruining it with crazy clothes (or lack thereof) and antics. A good singer must have an element of purity and simplicity to be called good. Lady Gaga doesn't do her voice justice in that respect.
@phcemt I agree with you to a point, but singing because of the money is different than singing from the heart. Purity comes from the heart and so long as there is this enticing element of the equation called money involved, then someone like Gaga aren't going to sing from the heart. That isn't a necessity, when machines make your voice sound someone good.

I agree, it's not fair. also, if you listen very closely to Sissel and Hayley at night (in the dark with your eyes closed with headphones on) and really focus on what your hearing, you'll notice that Sissel pay must less attention- Hayley sings with more focus and as a result her voice is much smoother and more relaxing.
i wasn't a Hayley fan until I did this because all I noticed at first is that her voice was kinda nasal.
