I think we, as adults, need to take these young dancers under our wings and encourage them, not tear them down. I have had dancers who did not have "dance shoes" and they had to dance in socks and it was not a problem. Obviously, you missed the message in the song because you were focusing on the flaws in their dance. Instead, why not look at their HEARTS. Keep dancing babies, get some training and keep God in your hearts.

My comment is not to be critical but there was a lot of arm swinging and not enough creative expressing through out the dance. But as long as it was done to the glory of God, he's doing better than I would have. I can teach it but I can't and don't have the gutts to dance before ppl.

Facials are not to be used to put on a show but to portray the meaning of the words. You are out to minister the word of God and to testify of the goodness of God.You have to feel the message in order to minister with perfection.You're out to touch a heart and save a soul.Keep up the good work.The Lord is pleased!

And as far as dancing to the song smiling, that DOES'T match w/ the song. However that's just how I am, u have to be respectful of everyone & not knock anyone's ministering. Take my praise dance squad 4 ex: W/ this song, we would give a serious facial expression cause u are sincerely telling Lord thank you. The more appropriate song we smile 2 would be when we did "Victory" Tye Tribbett. That's when u smile cause u are happy that u have THE VICTORY. But as I said that is just me & my squad.

I can say that it's second nature to point out technical mistakes such as the pointing of toes & things like that. Once you get trained, it's difficult to see other dancers not positioning themselves correctly. As a praise dancer I can say facial expressions have A LOT to do w/ your ministering cause if you look careless, your mistering isn't effectively inspiring to your audience.

you need to smile, point your toes, straighten your arms, not adjust your outfit during the dance and at least attempt to look like you know what you're doing. the body roll/caress the boobs move doesn't work. are you wearing socks and who's that lady singin' in the background?? tell her to not.

1. jocelynyvonne, like the name says. i was offering constructive criticism as a dancer for over 23 years 2. praise dance does not mean no smiling--you have to get your audience involved and minister to them. the song is called "thank you", you should at least have a pleasant expression on your face. if you're talking about the glory of the Lord but look sad, who's gonna be inspired by that? and 3. that's what dance shoes are for. you should invest in some.
why u tryin to get smart, not all people are wealthy enough to get them. anyway we ordered new ones and they didnt come back before we performed. just keep your "constructive criticism" to yourself. we have alot to learn and you act like we are supposed to be right on point with no flaws. well guess again. and one more thing, we are very serious about praise dancing. where im from, if u smile and your doing a song like this, u are not serious. so what you do is totally different from what u do.

IF you've been in the singers position in any way 0r if you havent been , God has certainly done alot for you.. and Cuz it's a song of Thanx. that thanx shouldnt only be expressed in your movements, but also in, well, Every thing..
Not is it a song of Thanx but its a song of realization.. like "God actually did come and Die for me and he aint have to do it.. but he did" Ya kinda gettin me. Im not a professional dancer but i do Dance and Wat i do, I worship with the song, i look for it's meaning to me and watever i get from it is wat i express in it.
as i look back at my own videos i see i have grown so much... from the attitude to the dancing!!! god works in mysterious ways
