  • "It's not one of the greatest hits, but who cares?" LOL, you gotta love Elton John for his humor. And you have to admit that even his minor hits are still amazing songs.

  • One Night Only ;)

  • @kaynanLisboa : no, it was two nights. And I was there on Day two .... flying in from Munich just to hear Sir Elton play!

  • WOW I read your Info about this Song (Shoulda been a HIT) Thanks for posting it~! And the Info about the DVD~! Your Buddy, Donny

  • This song should be on Elton's setlist for every concert he gives.

  • This tune reminds me of my tour of duty in the Philippine Islands..

  • check out the music video for it.

  • I haven't heard this song in sooo long!!! Heard it on xm today and thought it was so nice that i now know what its called

  • Thanks for uploading it. Curt Bisquera is a GREAT drummer, by the way.

  • Strange that this didn't get a lot more airplay as a single, i expected a big hit. Elton's new album The Union, with Leon Russell, is a classic!

  • This song is wonderful, why Elton John never sings in concert? and why Elton was singing just the first time in 2000 .... 11 years after its creation?

  • I have always loved this song. I especially love the animated version.

  • One of the most talented artists who ever lived.

  • I don't know why this is not a greatest hit. It is one of my favs. But that's just me. I love the actual video too. Very creative and good video for that time.

  • ...I like this song...I'm visualizing it being play with/at the ROH

  • I'm really not sure why people don't like this song. I think it"s one of his best songs.

  • Yeah top song, especially if it makes people dance like at 2:57. Ha ha!!

  • This is a ripper of a song,very groovy.

  • I remember the video for this song was all animation. It wasn't half bad....

  • @stevenj966 yes, and along the animation of Alan Parson's Proyect song (don't answer me), A-Ha's (take on me) and Mick Jagger's (hard woman to please) were the first made. Good times, right?

  • this was popular to me I played it ........loved this SONG love the beat too

  • The song is so positive. I like it!

  • I love this little song that wasn't a big hit. Even his minor hits are great songs!

  • This song came in one of Eltont's best albums. I really like the melody and the band sounds fantastic. Thanks for posting it!

  • I love this song, one of my Elton favorites to be honest

  • In the part at the end where he says "You can't sit still," I used to think he was saying "You can't sense death."

    Sort of sounds like it....

  • One of my favourites!!! Don't know why it never became a big single..?

  • I always wondered the same thing. It's been one of my favorite songs since I was a kid.

  • whiskeyspray, does it matter if he likes men? His music is the best of all times. The man is a legend. I really do not care if he likes men.

  • @charlyn5 he's just trolling around!

  • Is it true that Elton likes other men sexually?

  • elton john rocks, this is my favorite song

saw him in concert years ago.

  • wut year was this concert

  • Oct 20 & 21, 2000 it was recorded at Madison Square Garden.

  • One of his best, but never got credit!!!! Thanks for osting!!! A damn good feel good song!!!

  • Remeber this one playing on the morning radio before i went to scool..... Nice!

  • Love this tune!

  • I love this song!!!! A lot!!!!

  • Phenomenal Concert. The Guitar Work by Davey Johnstone and John Jorgenson is fabulous. John Jorgenson's versatility as a musician is incredible including a Sax Solo, Steel Guitar and Mandolin.

  • John Jorgenson - amazing guy, he needs his own show!

  • That is by far the whitest crowd I've ever seen! ;)

  • i agree..its good though

  • VIVA ELTON!

  • elton ti amoooo!

  • I wish that he would play this live!! I love it!!!

  • i love this song!!! the original is great too it's ashame that it wasn't among his greatest hits because it really is a good song

  • This great song it should have gotten more air time on the radio stations. They won't play it even if you request it.

  • Te adoro, simplemente te adoro, Elton John!!!!! Adela

  • One of the best songs ever shame it wasn't a hit.

  • Dearest Darlin' Alison - your Rays still hit me - Regards, John

  • This is probably one of my Fave Elton John songs. Sleeping with the past was one of his better albums as well.

  • this whole concerto rocks

  • I agree this song rocks, and it's a shame it didn't make it...cause it's just a fun song!

  • Pity the DVD is no longer availble - I had it but the centre hole cracked and shattered so it doesn't play anymore :-( The guy playing the sax here, can't remember his name but he's one heck of a musician, plays guitar as well.

  • john gorganson

  • are you sure it's no longer available? i got it with the elton john dream ticket 4 dvd set a couple of weeks ago.

  • This is a great and catchy song, I always turn up the volume when it plays on the radio. I wonder why such a great song wasn't as successful as it's supposed to be?

  • Top song and top feller !!! :D

  • great great song...such energy.......to hear the voice of Marvin Gaye.....can't wait to get to this fine club one day......

  • a very very nice and rarely-performed song by the greatest singer and songwriter

  • this is one of my all time favorite e.j. songs of all time

  • Damn fine song here :-D

  • The best song from EJ...

  • I'm not Elton's fan, but this song definitely rules. For me, it's probably his best song.

  • Elton rules

    Great song

  • there's some pretty drunken middle aged women who are trying to dance and its funny

  • he should play this song more often

  • This video is from a DVD box set entitled "elton john: dream ticket." It was released in approximately December 2004 or January 2005 or somewhere in that ballpark. It was only for sale at Best Buy. It's excellent.

  • good song areal up feeling

  • LOL! Good song. Always reminds me of the gay bar in town called Club Rendezvous.

  • Someone mentioned in an earlier post, that he's lost his touch on the piano. Personally, I think it sounds better than ever. Sure, his voice has changed quite a bit over the years, especially due to the surgery, but hey, he still kick's ass on the piano and probably always will.

  • yeppp exactly!

  • I agree. EJ is one of those artists who doesn't get the recognition he deserves.

    =^,,^=att

  • this should have been a bigger hit

  • @somewhatlongdong totally agree with you.

  • He's just a genius... There's no diff between live and studio performances, 'cause his voice is so tremendous!!!

  • You are so right!!! i love him to pieces

  • Tremendous sax solo by John Jorgenson.

John was one of the best and most talented members in ANY of Elton's bands!

  • I like of this music.

  • I'd forgotten this song! I loved it when it was out. Thanks so much for posting!

  • One of his most underrated songs. Although here in Germany they play it quite often on the radio.

  • Where is it?

  • Madison square garden in new york :)

  • lol tomek ¬¬

  • Top song. Anyone know what tour this was performed on or where it was?

  • Madison square garden And It was a concert for a live album. Also it was realeased on a dvd called dream ticket :)

  • Great artist, but hasn't it taken him a long time to get 'his' hair right? The possum on his head during this show was just not making it for him. Seems to have have it right these days though. However as I said great artist, it's easy to forget how many great songs he has produced. Thanks for posting what should have been a huge hit.

  • In his four-decade career Elton John has sold more than 250 million albums plus over one hundred million singles, making him one of the most successful artists of all time. He has more than 50 Top 40 hits including seven consecutive #1 U.S. albums, 59 Top 40 singles, 16 Top 10, 4 #2 hits, and nine #1 hits. His success has had a profound impact on popular music and has contributed to the continued popularity of the piano in rock and roll. He is truly one of the greatest artists of all time.

  • And he played on stage with John Lennon.

  • SnazzyNatz,

Those more "less known" songs are the gems of his performances. You should feel privileged to have heard such rare performances. He is truly magical.

  • LOVE this song! Thank you very much ;)
