  • Did you know that overseas bases contribute immensely to the local economies? Thousands of American civilians work at these bases. They are pretty much their own little towns. I grew up a military brat so I know how much the other countries appreciate what we do in their country. I don't think just pulling them all back is a good strategy. Thats actually quite irresponsible. I think we should make them pay us to stay there and If they don't want to THEN we pull back the troops. Not civilian wor

  • Do you believe that Ron Paul will be able to keep his promise of cutting military spending? Why or why not?

  • well done!!! the young people got Obama in do you think they can do the same for Paul?

  • Kathyrn we don't like your view maam got it hunh!

  • erertert

  • ching chong you ugly.this video is poop like your face.

  • @TheTohkonChambers get out of here hater! She's smarter than you too, I bet!

  • @georgelopezblows if you spend even MORE dollars to defense when WE are BROKE, we WILL all perish. Read a book please

  • We invade and occupy a country. Those people don't want us there and eventually retaliate. We call them terrorists to justify our massacre of them and make ourselves look like the good guys. I'd like this to stop.

  • @MindRioteer

So terrorists kill their own people because we invade their country? LOL good one stupid ron paul supporter.

  • @taledarkside My argument isn't that terrorists don't exist, but that not all insurgents are terrorists. Once you catch up to that we can discuss the morality of a people killing their own by looking at how many US soldiers are KIA or dead by suicide vs. how many iraqi/afghan civilians are dead by acts of terror.

  • @MindRioteer

    Who care about suicide.

And insurgents were hiding in civilian home on purpose. If they gave a crap about their own people, they wouldn't be hiding where innocent people lived. You want to play the liberal card and claim insurgents and terrorists are two different things when in Iraq they were the same as well as afghanistan.

  • @MindRioteer And a lot of times the government just stages stuff through the TV media and gets away with it because people don't check into things.

  • Thank you for all of your intelligent and reasoned video commentaries. You are a gift to your country.

We in Canada know a great deal of what is going on regarding many of the topics you discuss. When I poll my American friends and relatives (although intelligent and supposedly involved) have not a clue as to what is happening. Media censorship seems alive and well in the good old USA. Keep up the good (great !!!! ) work. Bravo!

  • I totally agree. Attacking everywhere will run the country into greater debt and then America will not be able to afford a defence on its own land. For your good thoughts i subscribed your channel.

  • Visit bluerepublican . org for more information on voting in the primaries to ensure that Ron Paul is the GOP nominee.

  • When it is necessary to go to war, you go in and conquer your enemies. Then you come home. Or, if you do need to occupy a country, you keep it and make it yours. None of this country building police action nonsense that wastes billions of dollars of tax money and risks thousands of lives.

  • I like you.

  • You GO girl!!

...and good luck in iowa.. shows youre not just talking the talk but youre walking the walk!! Much respect.

  • smart and attractive. nicely done with no hesitations, ands or ummms refreshing and nice liberty!

  • Lets just pray that Ron Paul doesn't get snuffed out by the global elitists if elected president.

  • Ron Paul 2012!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Well said, he will still be commander and chief and we will still be protected...we have to be more responsible with spending, and we can still be safe if done correctly

  • Your videos are great. I hope they help clear many of the misconceptions. Nearly every complaint I hear about Ron Paul is a misconception of what he actually believes. Still going through your videos, so maybe you already covered it, but maybe you can hit on the "isolationist" claim, which I hear too often, and explain how it does not equal "non-interventionist".

  • Hey baby... how YOU doin?

  • I THINK it's great you're doing the 100 reasons...each reason should be a file, which could then contain a potential library of data, which should be accessible anywhere....the idea there being that the dumbed down masses are going to have all kinds of reasons to fear reality...so developing a file on every reason would be good and then surveying which ones matter and then prioritizing....this is like going into battle now, we're just less then 6 weeks out...we should be prepared...keep it up

  • Yes, America would much less safe if the military were to actually guard U.S. borders, territorial waters and airspace.

The horror of following the Constitution!

The disgrace of a President actually being faithful to obey his oath of office!

The tragedy of a more peaceful, prosperous society burdened with liberty!

What will we do to prevent these things?

  • Without knowing much about the details of the military industrial complex, the shear fact that so much money is involved makes we wonder how much is spent on the kind of propaganda that keeps the military industrial complex sacrosanct and how dangerous it is to threaten such a beast with spending cuts.

  • @quidproquo2004 Indeed. Americans are brainwashed into believing the only way they can be safe is if the US plays world police.

  • @kathryndelong What do you make of the argument that the world political stage is actually dynamically safer with a single Great Power?

  • @kathryndelong Probably because we are the only true free nation (or as close to it) on earth that holds individual rights above everything else. The fact is that these countries that contain U.S. military bases WANT them there for political reasons. Take Germany for example. As part of NATO, they can maintain a small military while still having a strong security presence of U.S. backing. The same goes for almost every European NATO member. Libya intervention was "world police"

  • Great work , keep it up!

  • Considering that aircraft carriers are a complete waste of time and money, as well as every extra-national military base, it is pathetically easy to cut "military" spending without any cutting of actual defense what so ever.

  • This will win us Iowa!!!

    Go to SUPERVOTERBOMB [dot] com

For $1.20/ea we can mail a "For Liberty" DVD and a Super Brochure to 1 Republican Supervoter, accompanied by a letter from New York Times' best-selling author Thomas E. Woods.

  • Don't be silly, the survival of the U.S. hinges on aggressive wars and occupations!

  • @DavidKretzmann Yes, the Founding Fathers would be so, so proud of the Bush doctrine.

  • @kathryndelong Get rid of the British Empire, replace it with the American Empire; makes total sense.

  • @kathryndelong

I hate to admit but David is right but for the wrong reasons....The founding fathers originally rebeled against the British because they were in debt with the bank of England at the time. The reason why the United States hinges on wars and occupations is because our foreign policy relies on us being the most economically advanced nation where other countries need to be in third world status just so they can depend on us...

  • @worldworks I can assure you that @DavidKretzmann was joking.

  • @kathryndelong

Oh okay...I need to give you a link to a video clip that proves that the War on Terrorism is bias

  • @worldworks The "war on terror" is purely propaganda.

  • @kathryndelong

Yeah that video clip is an old news clip of Ku Klux Klan members actually stockpiling Sodium Cyanide poison gas and they were ready to implement their plans you must watch it

  • Wow, another Cutie 4 Paul

  • Thumbs up if you want to transfer money from Active Duty to the National Guard and the Reserve!

  • @nikolilol No.

  • @kathryndelong Well said.

    Children can be so impolite.

  • how does pulling troops from all our foreign bases NOT make us less prone to being attacked...

  • @nottinmatterz2day Have you heard the term "blowback"?

  • @kathryndelong Of course. I'm just trying to point out the fact that the intimidation we're executing with these would be gone, and with the blowback that is already due to us no one can say 100% we'll be safer by this. I agree to bring all troops home and close foreign bases.

  • Awesome videos, just stumbled upon your channel. Great to see my fellow Buffalo people doing work for the campaign.

  • you are awesome! Ron Paul 2012!!!

  • Ron Paul is ELECTABLE because he's DELEGATABLE! Look it up people. :)

Keep up the good work Kathryn.

  • You are pretty dedicated. Wish I had it in me to do more, but I have no faith in our citizenry, the lemmings that most of are. Good luck to you, Ron Paul and all of his active supporters!

  • Ron Paul 2012 -- Restore American Now!

  • Thanks for posting this. We need to stop these neo-cons from taking over the primaries.

  • I see a lot of Ron Paul support but there are a lot of people that say they wouldn't vote for him because they think he is un-electable. I know he can be elected.

  • Comment removed

  • @weiss27md with things like "he can't win" being said, you have to think that we wouldnt even be America if the Founding fathers said "we can't win". the point of fighting for what you believe in is not to fight only winning battles, but to stand for your beliefs for better or for worse.

  • Defend OUR nation, not foreign nations.

  • Couldn't have said it any better. This is one issue neocons will refuse to understand and are willfully ignorant of. Cutting militarism is by far, the easiest thing we can do, yet, neocons will insist that by breaking the military industrial complex's party up, you are dooming Americans. It's a crock of shit and they know. They just want to protect their special interests as much as liberals do.

  • i think it would be much better if all our troops were in our country, so yes your point is very valid. im glad i subscribed. why is our presense everywhere?I'll tell you from a vetran's perspective that military spending doesnt go to soldiers themselves at all with piss poor VA benefits among other issues in the military. i think Ron Paul is actually the only one concerned with cleaning our house rather than checking out the neighbor's houses and trying to move in.
