  • man you love that click flare

  • lol 1st thing i look 4 if i cant name silver mixers is look at the effects botton djx have a blue where pioneer is the colour u see in this video and if u can afford 2 mk3s and then go buy a djx ur a weirdo lol

  • i agree :L:L

    djx 700 is poo

dm800 is the way to go :D

  • he didn't post this video to show of his wonderful mixer.. he posted it for the scratching you shithead, let him use whatever mixer he wants. i use a eurorack ub502 as a dj mixer in some of the biggest clubs around here, you gonna judge me on that???

    BOOOOOOOOOYAHHHHHHHH bitch.

  • well...........u can shove ur eurorack ub502 down ur japs eye :)

    suck on that bitch!!

  • @aeiou12aeiou12 lol poo

  • for scratching vinyls r better obviously but for mixing there is nothing better than pair of cdj's pioneer 800 or better...

    thats my opinion though.

  • i like the new technology these days but i gotta say i love my technics!

    still the best around.

  • gibbons000 ... u must be blind or something :P ... to think that thats DJX700 ... its obviously pioneer DJM600S... :)))))))))))

  • No hes right, trust me I have one & it looks it that!

  • @YvLuckspin does look alot like the djx 700,but id say its a 600s,anyway the faders on the djx would fall off if you tried that.

  • class

  • NIIICE

  • Nice, the same skill apllies 2 T/Tablz & C.D.J.s but vynl is the way 4 me, I mean these things cant skip so U cant help but be at least average not so easy with vynl. Theres gettin them, diggin 4 hrs, makin sure there not warped, de-warpin, markin, styli adj. n so on. Serato looks nice but I heard Q.Bert sayin he always uses real vynl 2 scratch. Anyone know how the ortofon q.bert compares 2 the sure m44-7 ?

  • Serato with real turntables is nice, I got it to expand my options on vinyl since CD tables still drive me crazy....

I still have real vinyl, nothing beats the feel but that's just my preference.

  • the mixer is a behringer DJX700

  • You mean Pioneer Djm 600?

  • What kind of mixer is that?

  • Djm 600

  • nice one!

  • Kidman, it's not all about turntables. I started with decks, moved onto cd, then mp3, now back to CDJ's. It's what you prefer that matters.

I hate people that leave posts like yours.

    Big up Danny Keston

  • I really really really hate DJ's that use CD's. Where are your turntables mate?

  • cdj involve just as much skill as vinyl now.

  • niiice.

  • Any one Know that song

  • Silasonic - Something (to make you feel alright)

  • seems much more fun to scratch on vinals.

  • Yeah, vinyl will always be best at scratching

  • @srrybunny is it at least close to it vinyls are pretty expensive so im get the pioneer

  • @ihyundai The only diffrence is the size of the platter the CDJs are smaller. The 1000 is about half the size of a vinyl were as the 400s are the size of a cd , it actually sounds exactly the same and reacts exactly the same, only diffrence is the feeling between your finger tips

  • @AndrewJdotcom o thanks that helped allot :)

  • no dude on vinuls the needle jumps and runs the mix

    i hate um^^

  • not if you know how to do it.

  • pioner 1000s are the best cd scratchers

  • check mine out " d.j. mcveigh cdj1000 mk3 ''it's at 10.00 mins into video feel free to be critical.

  • MIXING that sort of HOUSE MUSIC with SCRATCHING , is LIKE watching a DOG F*** a CAT and watching what comes out .

  • haha, yea man

  • get some breaks to scratch to

  • Great stuff man, im slowly gettng there!!

  • .. nice scratching ..

.. but wud luv to know where i can get hold of scratch samples ..

  • OMG O_o

  • can anyone answer where to get sample to scratch with

  • THAT WAS SICK!! scratching is hard with CDJs but you pulled it off

  • Tha sample used for scratching its the famous FRESHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • I'm looking for the scratch sound he uses. Anyone can help?

    Other than that, great video

  • The CDJ-1000 is amazing, but expensive.

  • agreed, it makes me drool to look at it, so pretty, makes such good noize..heart goes bump bump BOOM..

  • sounds like vinal might not feel like it but sounds like it whats the BFD its digital

  • this is the most expensive cdj.

  • honestly The first I've tried cdjs they felt fake and i didn't like the feel. Vinyl is the way to go. and Yes Serato will save your ass.

  • yup very true! im getting this!

  • Comment removed

  • epic fail bitch

  • VINYL CDS R FOR THE CAR

  • muhahaha vinyls are died dude !! lets see in few years !!

  • vinyl will never die if so it would of happen already

  • na man serato gena keep it alive

actualy switching from cdjs to vinyl

gotta learn vinyl to dj bro

  • 3 years ago I bought vinyls just thinking so but its not worth it, at all.....

  • serato will save you

  • I was looking in getting final scratch from stanton but I am just gonna get some CDjs instead.

  • wat kind of music u spin

  • Well that was part of the problem. I like Electronic/Dance which works better on CDjs for effects and transfers, but at the same time I love scratching and beat joggling. I know scratching is awesome on vinyls, but for what its worth I don't think they are very useful for regular club mixing.

  • you'll end up screwing yourself

  • vinyls r good for underground dance songs because a lot of the time you couldn't find them on CD or download but for big commercial songs (e.g. what ya got for me) its pointless (unless you collect classics on vinyl).

  • Vynils are good because its phonographic which means its genuine contact of music, when you put your hand with heavy weight on the vynil the pitch goes down, when you touch it slightly the pitch goes down only a little,do that to any CDJ's which have digital distortion i bet ya it wont work as genuine as vynils

  • how i've always seen it is, vinyls r soooo much better then CDJ for turntablists but CDJ is better for DJs. I am both =D

  • A turntablist...see you on DMC 2010

  • lol, i was thinking about signing up this year but the hot spot is too far away.

  • exactly i mean vinyls are way more fun i think give a more hands on feel

but cds are just ways more efficient and djs using any available equipment soo true

i used to go into guitar center everyday last summer and use their cds even with my vinyls at home just cos they let me and i ripped everyday haha

  • nice,well done

  • Just a tip - you'll wanna keep the sound levels in the green otherwise your sounds get distorted.

  • depends on how much hes speakers can take ;)

  • Not really. The signal gets distorted when the levels are in the red, so it's distorted before it even reaches the speakers

  • Agree. Can generally allow one red bar but you really wanna keep volumes as low as possible, otherwise the gain's too high and it'll distort.

  • bad bad bad scratches. its chet

  • u shud keep your levels down otherwise your do damage to ya mixer

  • true

  • Nah, he's still quite safe, cause his master is correctly limited, yet his channels could use a bit of finetuning with the gain, but it is not yet harmfull to this mixer

  • its not hurting the mixer..

  • its a easer way of mixing uncool m8 get propper dj deks keep records alive its cd that is killing them thers no scill involed i hav both and nevver use cd ever i rather lob it out my window than use them KEEP RECORDS ALIVE DONT CHEAT ITS MENT TO BE SKILL FULL CD MIXING IS SHIT

  • you having a laugh ?

those cd decks are industry standard they are the closest thing to vinyl. mixing with cd decks is the same as mixing with vinyl beatmatch it ?

i like vinyl but there is one thing thats better cdj1000 mk3

  • This cd vs. vinyl is so last millenium. Cd:s are here to stay. End of story. It's like comparing guitar to drums. You can play music with both of them, but just different way. Good mix is good mix. No matter is it done with vinyl or cd. Only noobs with no real experience are still continuing the fight. Good dj plays with any available equpment.

  • good said, people who say vinyl is the best blabala think they'r ubermensch -____-

  • thank you for such a true comment

  • twat!

  • dats a lie

  • mate can you tell me what song is that plz?

  • shit funky house the scum of all music

  • Video is sweetness.

  • id sounds like shit i dun get what people like an annoying fucking sound in the backroind of good songs

  • RED :D

  • All your levels we're constantly red :(

  • where did you get yor scratch cd from and whats it called cheers

  • great stuff, i've got that mixer, behringer djx700, for the money you cant fault it......

  • it is a Pioneer DJM 600-S like the 600; but silver!

  • look at the red's.... ooooo... speaker killer

  • crab that shit...lets hear some flares

  • i think that on the cd are scratch samples

  • You're Fucking Goood;)

  • nice work dude, turn down your channels though in red WAY 2 much! :)

  • cdx rules....the cdx is a farrr better cd player than the pio

  • im not knocking you. i do like vinyle though. do ya thang man

  • Yo where can i get the scratch samples that you are using?

  • Doesn't sound too good with this music....

  • What's the title of the first mix?

  • nothin wrong with ''old fashioned'' vinyl is still used for styles like hardcore, hardstyle and house. lazy fucks like you who can't mix with vinyl use cd's

  • do that on vinyl

  • look at his other video................

  • its a djm-600

  • @naomiBlue and wukid23: man you're old fashioned... vinyls are often used for hip hop music...but thats electronic, so its absolutley acceptable

  • get some vinyls.=]

  • shit hot mate keep it goin

  • Sounds good ! what kind of accapella do you use ?

  • Ignore the haters, those who have made shite comments haven't supplied any vids of themselves so that makes themselves a bunch of talentless retards in my opinion! Nice work though!!!

  • its not a behringer mixer dude bcoz the effects button wud be blue if it woz!

  • its a behringer mixer. cant remember excact name. x750 or something like that

  • its a djm 600

  • That isnt an allen and heath mixer... thats definitly pioneer. Looks like a djm-600 fyi

  • he has alien and heat mixer pionier cdjs and numark eaprhones old ones.... lol eaprhones give all the effect :D

  • o0o0 i hear the flairs sounds niccceeee i love those

  • great scratching

    very nice setup bro

  • i'm more into vinyl but i have no hatred for cdj's. the scratching sounds really good with em. my only nitpicky thing is your peaking, turn the gain down butoh well.

  • there's nothing wrong with digital, it has many advantages

  • lmfao. go buy some vinyl.. faggot.

  • decent

  • cant say anything bad about this one. I enjoyed it beginning to end. Awesome!

  • Sweet scratching. I like it a lot, only thing is you rock your crossdafer wayy too much.

  • we both have the same decks d 1000mk3 and djm600. how come so many "Mr. know it alls and haters here? of course...scratching needs to be in a vinyl mode, dumbass. and he is flicking the crossfader just fine. hey man, could you tell me what is that you are spinning at channel 1? is that track especially for scratching purpose only? hope i hear from you. thanks.

  • nice setup

  • djm600s hmmm

  • i like that i never used to scratch when i had House/Electro on my CDJ's u just change my mind good work man

  • Thats nice scratching on a CDJ

  • only one thing bad about this. ITS FUCKEN HOUSE! XO I dont mind house its just trance/housey-trance is best and has a much bigger verity when mixing.

  • that's not really a scratch mixer but nice ;) i hate those cd players specialy in the club when your hands gets all sweaty and you can't control it verry well

  • Why? Is there so many haters on here, come on ppl...I don't see you on here DJ'ing, If your so much better, Shut the fuck up, Stop talking shit and post a fucking video, Motha Fuckas.

    Keep it Real,

    Thanks.
