alot of players like to keep their apm's high right from the start of the game to ensure that they play at full speed later on in the game, its just keeping pace, keeping your fingers & your mind busy so that you don't find yourself slacking when the time comes to micro & multitask in the heat of battle, I doubt NaDa does it just so he can say he has high apm, I'm sure he knows the veiwers aren't stupid, lol

Tanks can hurt quite hardly Thors in non-siege mode, but in siege, they deal much less damages to THORS.

I think those siege tanks would have been better used unsieged against those thors... With no splash damage on the thors, tanks have more DPS combined with extra damage against armored.

If he double way pointed the Banshee. Like say " Go there " then " attack this " as soon as your done. You cant move the banshee till you cancel the previous 2 way points or commands. Even if he did manage to cancel it the Shee wouldn't escape anyway so im guessing he knew this and just didnt bother or just made a mistake like all players do.

Not with that patch. And it depends what the right click does. If you waypoint a SCV to build 3 Factories and during the 2nd one you send it to repair a building it wont do it. It will just keep building. But thats scv's and not banshees so im not sure. It could just be the patch.

APM does not reflect skill, granted, the better someone is, the higher there APM tends to be. But it is more reflective of how many times you have to adjust your armies position, or react to a situation. Someone can be a good player, and still win with a relatively low APM, purely due to the fact the situation did not require constant micro-management.

High APM does not mean very much. It is supposed to show how many actions a player does, to show army control. But when you hotkey 2 units and click back and forth, that is not army control, and serves no purpose but to increase the APM, just so you can say you have a high APM.

@WpgRambo it actually does have a purpose, because believe me, top players don't care what the actual # is. the purpose of seemingly pointless actions is to keep your fingers and brain running at a fast speed. that way, you don't have to ramp up from 50 apm to 300 during a fight, but just have to do more meaningful actions.

That applies to some, but not all. Some pro plays spam keys/keep their apm high in order to keep them on edge in the early stages of the game.

That is not what players usually consider High APM either.

Just because you can abuse High APM does not mean that High APM does not "mean" much.

So yes, High APM does mean a lot; "spamming" doesn't. I put Spamming in quotes because even "spamming" can be helpful; in a battle, you can spam movement controls to make sure your unit AI doesn't reset and do something else & in the start of a game you can "spam" to warm up.

There r very few cases where APM is completely useless :(
