  • Jay Garrick should trip if he's wearing clothes that baggy.

  • haha i made this with sam when i was 14, good times good times

  • Funny video

  • I don't think I will be expecting much of that one.

But I hope you have lots of fun filming it :-)

  • 1,the superman for earth 2's in the JSA 2,batmans not in the JSA

3,the JSA is Wild Cat Star Spangled Kid earth 2 Superman Spectre Sandman Hour Man and Captain Marvel

  • 1,the superman for earth2's in the JSA 2,batman

3,the Wild Cat Star Spangled Kid earth 2 Superman Spectre Sandman Hour Man and Captain Marvel's not in the JSA

  • from the matrix

  • What is the song for this called?

  • Would have loved to see Black Canary in this, but good work!

  • nice were did you get the music this is sooo intense but the flash was a little lame but it was a great movie

  • Good stuff!

  • That was cool and what Starmiter says is true, You also forgot to include Dr Fate and the Atom. Plus Black Canery who was a key member, as was the original Green Lantern and Hawkman. But even with all that you still did damn good and I hope you do make more of these

  • well the idea of batman and superman being there isnt accurate since they are from earth1 and the jsa is from earth 2 but thats just me

  • In 'Pre-Crisis' continuity, Earth 2 Batman and Superman both joined the All Star Squadron, later known as the JSA. Earth 2 Batman even died during his last mission with them and his spot was taken by Dick Grayson 'Robin' of Earth 2.

  • Not bad. I concur with trying to up the SPFX to beef up the Flash and the Spectre.

Can't wait to see the story.

    ty

  • And if this is post-crisis continuity, how is Superman and Batman apart of the Society? That would be Golden Age continuity.

Amp it up a bit, add effects for Flash and Spectre if you must use them for fight scenes, but if not, then just give those scenes to Sandman and Batman, who require less effects. Also, that music is awesome, but it has been used so much for fan trailers that it is becoming monotonous.

  • Good idea and potential, but needs more. Flash was seriously slow, and the jeans were bad for design (made Flash look unshapely...the guy should reflect a runner!). Was the Spectre making his costume? Because since he's supernatural, you should do away with that, being that the costume is probably supernatural...

  • I thought that was Batman sewing his costume.

  • nice vid but u probably should have used some sort of effect to make the flash faster

  • I think Sandman looks awesome. I think you should try to do something about the pants for the flash though..the jeans look kinda odd.the superman costume could be nicer too but besides for that, it looks pretty damn cool.

  • One word- Tripod. It would look 10x better if you used one. Also, try not to use the same music as 'Grayson.'

    Otherwise, pretty damn nifty.

  • You're low on budget but high on imagination! Well done! One point, however, Batman was not in the JSA. He's in the JLA. Try Hourman or Dr. Fate in the JSA role. By the way, what was that music?? It was awesome!

  • FYI - Batman was most definitely in the JSA, though as an 'honorary member' as were Robin & Superman; DC Comics revamped their continuity in 1985-6, and retro-actively declared that Batman and pals hadn't existed in the 1940's, though clearly the publishing history remains to counter that.

  • All true, but I was, in fact, referring to post crisis continuity. Good history lesson, though.

  • This is just great. No one could demand anything more, you're not rich, but the ideas, everything... it's just great!

  • This has some serious potential. One of the things I would work on is the visual effects, such as The Spectre and Flash. The costume design is pretty good for all of them, though. Other than that, so far it's not too bad. A Justice Society fan-film would definitely be a welcome and refreshing change of pace.

  • I run faster then flash did in that..

Coulda least sped up his clips in WMM.

    But good job anyway.

  • I liked it. I Wanna see more. Im into stuff like this because its the first time im seeing the JSA live action.

  • Great idea ... if I had a million bucks I'd back the enterprise without a second thought. The B&W Sandman shots looked uber cool. Hope this project goes somewhere soon. Ciao, Shade.

  • Sandman is armed with... a hairdryer.

yeah... I don't think any of us has that much time left in our lives for this....

  • Pretty good. I liked your Sandman the best.

  • You have great vision and passion, but unfortunately, your budget is limited. Start small and attempt to better with each movie!

  • OMG GET DOWN HE HAS A BLOWDRYER! nah it was good

  • Keep at it like frost job says. I wish I could do something as cool as this. Not everyone can do a Batman: Dead End, or Grayson. As for the costumes, they are old school and thats just fine by me!

  • Don't listen to the naysayers. I really like how you give the characters a gritty edge, connecting them to their pulp roots.

  • dude...you got nothing

  • Love the idea of a retro-hero fan film. Why not go back and try again with some urba/city shots,if you can throw some effects into the mix that would help.Listen to the people that want to help and not jealous fanboys.

  • well considering what you had to work with,i can tell a lot of heart went in on making this. keep it up!

    ok usa!!

  • I respect your work, but...it´s AWFUL.

WTFH is doing The Flash wearing Jeans?

And Batman´s costume is the new one from movies...Please not to "Coming soon"!

  • Jay has a fat ass... i wonder if it affects his running

  • More!! I want to see more!!!

  • Well, I'll give you props on effort, but you should really improve the effects. Also, feature more visually appealing heroes like Wildcat and Dr. Fate (Golden Age) or Mr. Terrific and Power Girl (Modern Age).

  • Ha ha ha ha. I like the fact that someone is trying to make a JSA fan film but I just have to laugh at Sandman wielding a blowdryer.

  • Needs LOTS of work. The costume quality is very low. Effects are poor.

We start off seeing people's names as an introduction, then seeing the character. I think it's on Superman you start showing the character first. I don't know why.

Try renting a bunch of movies, and sped a few weeks studying the story telling techniques. Camera andles, placement, when to lock down the camera, when to go handheld. When to cut, when to dip to black, etc.

  • ...interesting... needs some work as far as costumes go... DEFINITELY work with Flash. He needs to blur almost when he runs, not just disappear...

  • um no
