  • Girls like these are responsible for destroying the Ozone layer, all that hair spray! lol.........

  • FYI, these aren't the original singers of "Point Of No Return". Look up X-posed.

  • re: Again their lip-synching

in the 80's the MAJORITY of shows were lip synched. so they could concentrate on "dancing" - looking good. remember video only started in the early 80's. so it was pretty new to the world.

  • you'd never have so many stars on one show now adays

  • I saw them on singing on youtube and they still look the same as they did on new york hot track

  • Again their lip-synching

  • One night last week some folks drove by 72nd and Broadway here in Manhattan in a 4Runner blasting this, took me back to the '80s.

  • saw them at epcot!

  • I saw them live last summer and they were amazing!

  • i luv this song,im 15,lol but it kciks ass! BTW total lip singing, lol

  • I love Miss Marilyn McCoo!

  • Song is better heard and not seen. Tutus, LOL! Come on.

  • everyboyd lip syncs so what's the big deal. U can never sound as good as the studio version so that's why they all lip sync.

  • the rereleased version of this song has Jeanette hurtado singing lead replacing Alejandra from the original expose. THe original sounds better bc that's what the original release was but these girls did a great job with the next cuts come go with me, when I looked at him, etc.

  • love this song with the original 3 girls that started expose when peter reckell's wife came in to the group to take the place of the one girl that got throat cancer it was never the same because we were so use to the original girls

  • I want a black tutu!

  • wow.. considering how much dancing most stars do now.. they coulda sang this live lol, theyre barely moving`

  • I bet you weren't even born when this song came out... think of it this way.... how do you think the world was way back then... think real hard.

  • ur ageism is amazing and ur way off, btw. not only was i born, walking, talking and potty trained, i also had their cassette but i didn't hav cable so i missed videos and perf like these. by the way ur talkin down 2 me, im guessing ur still much older than me. jus watch the video and leave me alone, thanx cuz i wasn't talking 2 u anyway jus reffering 2 the video.

  • Aqui cantaba una chilena pero no se cual es.

  • i read alot of these comments and i agreee with all of them. this was a great group, i also love the original which was sung by the first expose group which originally called themselves X-Posed. they were ale lorenzo, sandee and laurie miller. i remember seeing them at the beat club, which was a teen club in a corner of a shopping center on bird road. its great to be able to relive those memories like MMartin says "close your eyes and go back", way back, back into time.

  • I can't wait to see Expose at Northalsted Market Days in Chicago this weekend! I LOVE GIOIA! KISSES!

  • I remember first hearing this with my friend while we at McDonalds drive thru during lunch in my moms Malibu that she let me drive to school that day, and the employee was pissed off at us because it was so loud and we were "jammin'"! I love the memories of the 80's...I am so glad I got to live it, because that decade is truly singular.

  • The point of no return; The house could be on fire and you will not stop!

  • I wish those damn geek scientists would hurry the fuck up and make a damn time machine already; so I can travel back to the 80's and break the damn handle.

  • Nice comment Ostrich!!!!!

  • Gracias! The 80's were so much better weren't they?

  • Yes! I agree!

  • the time machine is your mind. close your eyes go back to tnat point era and be happy.now open your eyes reality.but for a minute it was fun.

  • OMG...Thats is like sooo Tubeular!

  • I loved Solid Gold....but I hated the lip-synching....you could tell a lot of the acts hated it too....just cheapened the show.

  • will be seeing them here in hawaii tonight. da mega 80's music festival.

  • you're lucky man!! hope it was a good one.

  • Jeanette Jurado Sang the oldie angel baby in the movie Mi familia Which some consider just as good if not better than Rosie and the originals. I agree this was the Best Expose line up ever.

  • these arent even the original girls from the band! they were replaced as they were hitting it big by these 3. This is Miami folklore as it's part of our freestyle history.

  • They didnt really hit until they had this lineup. This would have been a national hit in 1984 if the previous lineup was even half as good. Miami yes, everywhere else no.

  • they actually sounded quite good and to this day BOTH versions are played here. I heard the replacement was due to management and money issues and nothing else. also, the miami freestyle sound crossed over to lots of other places outside of miami such as new york and la.

  • i've always had a mean crush on the girl in the middle (jeannette-the lead singer) also, she a lot prettier than ROSIE PEREZ!!!

  • Oh god, I wish you young kids would do some research before opening up your 18 year old mouths and sticking your foot in it! Lipsynching was HUGE back in the day and was required on a ton of shows back in the 70's and 80's... and even TOTP in England, requested lipsynching from their singers performing on their show. Get with the program, dork.

  • Gioia, the one on the right

  • I wish they had a video of when Ale was in the group... My home girl!

  • that was bad lipsinc, but britney spears is way worse!

  • yo dog Kinser, animal house brks 1203, 1986 to 1987 BC street yea wild times dog!!

  • These girls were so talent and ahead of their era. I'm still hooked on their music

  • PLAYBACK!!!!

  • Hey...it was 1987, it was Solid Gold...

No one CARED it was lip syncing!

3 chicks on stage singing with no band in sight in front of an audience?

    It was more than obvious.

  • That is true. But check the live clips here and tell me if they don't sound just as good. I think that was part of Solid Gold policy.

  • OkAy ii LOvE tHiiS SONG! My MOM SAiD iiT TAkES HER TOO BACk iN DA DAy LMAo :]

  • I don't think there was ever a "live" performance on Solid Gold. But we can't deny that the Solid Gold dancers were anything but live. Anyway...I don't think I missed an episode back when it originally aired.

  • Holy hell...look at the shit we used to wear in the 80's.

  • she was 28 , she is my mother

  • Exactly what I was gonna say

    They were awesome

  • I was visiting my wife's best friend in Miami a few years back when I noticed this CD in her husband's CD rack. I said "Cool! Someone ELSE likes Expose." He casually responded that he produced the album! I didn't believe him until I opened the CD cover. Sure enough, there was his name! He's got NINE Grammys for production work. Five are in the garage gathering dust!

  • Holy crap! You met Lewis Martinee??? Lucky!!!

  • Now those are some HOT 80s chicks!

  • yeah alhambra I think. My ex knew her fam..

  • I love this song

    HECk Yes!! XD!!!

  • Who's the lead singer? She's hot!! Too bad she was probably 25 when I was born.

  • LMAO! she's alright

  • Actually, it would be a foursome if you include yourself :).

  • Haha, Guilty pleasure, perfectly put - Us Heavy Metal Fans arent supposed to like these kinds of songs...

  • I'm a life-long metalhead, and I LOVE the 80s even if its not metal. You have to admit, the special effects are similar to the pyrotechnics used in former Iron Maiden, Kiss, and many other bands.

  • This is not live. But the song is a guilty pleasure.

  • This reminds me of getting ready to go to Okinawa in 86..man good times there!!!

    Baltimore stand up!!

  • The lead singer is a great dancer.

  • They were starstruck by marylin mccoo.I dont blame them.Marylin was already a big star. They performed a great show.

  • The 80's was a great time for music. I watched Solid Gold every week until it ended.

  • no fair my mom got to listen to all this 8-(

why why was i born in 94 *sobs regretfuly*

  • OMG, I would kill to go back in time back to middle school days....music was good. Totally reminds me of riding my bike to the store to get candy and then dream of my middle school crush...Sigh

  • Hey. How Tall is Marilyn McCoo. 6'?

  • Tall enough for me.

She was great with "The Fifth Dimension"

  • damn. I wouldve like them more if i remembered their name. There were too many 3-member girl-groups back then, and they all looked alike. I didnt know if i was singing along to Expose', seduction, or the Cover Girls.

  • back in the day yo! my how SOME things have changed,AND SOME HAVEN'T!

  • Thank God I was a kid in this era time, don't want to be a slave to this hideous fashion.

  • does that mean that youre a slave to the current fashion...you shouldnt feel forced to do anything

  • Man this brings back memories of cheezy nightclubs!

  • Did we really dress like this? Call the fashion police!

  • Janette effs up on her lip synching cuz she's laughing at Gioia for knocking her mic off the stand and trys to catch it at 1:45.

  • good eyes on that one!!!

  • Nice call!

  • LOL Yeah and Janette almost knocks over that same mic when they switch positions later on!

  • This is when women really took care of their look, unlike today where so many women singers especially in hip-hop look like sluts. At least thank God Britney Spears career is practically over.

  • god that was bad lipsinc, but britney spears is way worse!

  • At 1:50, she totally proves this is lip singing.

  • But I still like them...

  • i sure do miss them!where are they now?I luv them

  • "LIVE"? hahaha

  • oh man the memories of expose's music. Loved the 80's!!!

  • Godamn, I was so in love with Jeanette (and the music of course!!!) 20 years ago...Can I go back, please?

  • Only if I can hitch a ride! Maybe we can use Doc Brown's car from Back To The Future! :)

  • good song.

  • Expose forever!!!

  • One of the sexiest songs of all time! Should have hit #1! Has a great beat! This is the kind of stuff that I sadly miss in today's music! Too much rap and hip hop garbage! My fav gal in this lineup is the gal in the pink. She's the cutest in my opinion... Ty

  • this is ....... Jem and the hologram ?

  • The "wet" hair and the neon green Body Glove dress! Luvs it. The good ol' 80's!

  • AMEN! weren't those the best! Some stupid thing on tv was saying that the 80's was the decade of the "fashion challenged" and hair was ugly. best years ever!

  • i wish that i could go back to the 80's

  • me too :( sure beats today

  • I LOVE THIS SONG! Thanks for posting! (=

  • Wow..thought i was the only one still into expose!! Flashing back to high school..i had pics of them all over my locker...they still are sexy!!! I heard they were playing in Vegas somewhere..true???....whats new with them?? Still sounding great!!

  • I love this song...but ay! there are parts where she's not even atempting to lip sync well!

  • i love this song!

    freestyle is totally my style!

    love it! i do!

haha women back then were very dominant!

    and so are they today!

LIKE BRITNEY SPEARS HAHA! no seriously!

  • is that rosie perez?

  • ///aaaaaw! lol. thx for posting this!! =D

  • Love this song. The best, and my goodness what a class act these women are they way their dress is, the dancing, very feminine and true women unlike today, which is sad and disgracing.

  • omg i was a junior in high school when this came out...thanks for posting this (tears) lol

  • The first released version was the better one but this is the only they play anymore.

  • I've been trying to find the original version of this song for years now, with no luck.

  • The orignal version is on the CD Expose's greatest dance mixes on THUMP records. It also has the extended versions of seasons change and exposed to love. Excellent, get it..

  • Expose preformed in their feminine manner... but they meant business.

  • Gioia's such a dyke!..LOL

  • I LOVE Expose! They are among the best freestyle groups.

The Point of No Return is one of the best freestyle songs ever made! Thanx for sharing. :)

  • A true group with no break out diva and everyone getting the same coverage.

  • the days when women used to wear stretch dresses without wasting time analizing their leg's shape...

  • Amen!

  • man this song is tite..I love the guitar solo...

  • Ahh the days when Freestyle and house music could be in the top ten hit list!

  • I always wanted to be the meat in an Expose' sandwich. Damn, the girls look so young and pretty here. If they're anything like me they look at these old videos and probably wonder where all the time went.

  • i liv this song

  • good music

  • y r u guys all fighting bout it?

  • thats some good 80's poon!

  • Oh ...the days of Solid Gold and satin pants and WORST of all, lip-syncing!!!

  • The concert was a fraud, thanks to the promoter of this concert. Turns out Sa-fire never performed also. The promoter bailed out after the Tampa show on Friday and wasn't heard again until Saturday night. Also, the promoters closed the curtain on the show without warning. Feel sorry for all of the artists and fans this promoter scammed.

  • XXXOUTLET...they DO sing their own songs! You fool! I guess you don't them well enough...perhaps never heard that they REUNITED to perform again? Their shows are all LIVE! Have you seen them on "It's Showtime at the Apollo"?!!!!!

  • First of all, get your facts straight! There were originally 3 different members of Expose'. (There are actually 2 different Exposure albums) They recorded Point of No Return and Exposed to Love- NOT Come Go With Me- When Ann, Jeanette and Gioia took over the group, they re-recorded both songs THEMSELVES! I have BOTH tapes to prove the difference! It is no where NEAR a Milli Vanilli scam!

  • You're right. I've heard both versions. This one is way better.

  • I like the original version better. Much more simplistic. but this one is good as well.

  • Una de las cosas más ordinarias de los ochenta!

  • i was just a toddler when their song came out and i remember liking this song- still love it! go 80's!

  • I wanted to do so many dirty things to Expose!

  • Memories of my dance club days in New Orleans ! Great song !

  • i'm in new orleans right now and i still love this group

  • we used to have big time house parties here in Los Angeles back in the 80's and cruising Whittier Blvd jamming Dead or Alive, stacey Q, Tapps, Lime, Azoto...

  • I saw them at the San Diego County Fair in Del Mar, CA in 1991 (+ or - a year). They were incredible! I fell in love with them then and still adore them!

  • That spandex is taking me to the "Point of No Return"!

  • Hot and talented

  • I LOVE this song!!!!!

  • Unforgettable song! For you Expose lovers, I just posted a live performance of this song.

  • GT280 -- Thanks for sharing!! What a great way for me to start my 2 week vacation!!

  • The first time I saw these beautiful ladies was in 1986 at Lincoln Park in East LA. I was just a kid selling burgers to raise money for Roosevelt High's basketball team. I just saw them again over 20 years later and let me tell you, this was an awesome show. It was Freestyle Explosion at Honda Center Friday night. The show will be on again in San Diego soon I think in September.

  • Thanks for the info!! I might have a chance to see them on my vacation in Columbus, OH on June 23rd.

BTW, Expose will be having a full band show with a full set of songs on July 14th, 2007 at the Palmdale Ampitheter in Palmdale, CA. -- I already have the hotel room booked for that (it also is free admission for this one!).

  • I LOVE IT!

  • she look like america ferrara

  • true

  • lol WORD they were totally lip-synching! this is SO 80's i love it!

  • Ann....Amazon Godess, look at those legs!

  • God..gioia has an ass and legs to die for.

  • yes, what a body. i'm so jealous. check out 'let me be the one'

  • this song still jams to me...

  • o--kayyy!!!

    i hear that.

  • That show changed a lot in its 7th year for 1987. They made it more MTV-like and took out all those big round gold poles and round stage sets to get it out of its early-'80s disco look. I lost interest when it finished its 8th and final season in 1988. But I loved Solid Gold and the many hosts it had. Dionne Warwick was a far better host than Marilyn McCoo!

  • Isn't Marilyn McCoo married to Fat Albert?

  • COOL!!!!

  • the outfits are cool. Stuff like that is coming back.

  • My God! The only female artist who was at the height of Marilyn McCoo was Natalie Cole. How Tall Is She? 5'10" maybe?

  • I love those outfits... reminds me of the times;back when pop music was enjoyable to listen to.

  • man, those outfits are soooooooo tacky even for the 80's.

  • Hard to believe this is from 20 years ago! #5 Spring 1987

  • in 20 years they will be talking about your music and the styles too.sad but sooooooo totally true.

i'm 29 now but back in the 90's it was pretty retarded.you know, the flattop haircuts, baggy m.c.hammer pants and the girls trying to look like paula abdul and janet jackson.i am still punk/goth today.i was the type that hung with the deee-lite group.deee-lites song "the groove is in the heart" and "runaway"...you should watch the videos.

  • tacky? i thought the host said "Wild"???

i soooooo totally agree but that was the 80's,bro.

i dig what your saying.i went to high school in the 90's.i'm 29 now.but in the 90's it gotten worse.

i am openly gay.i still dress goth like i was years ago.sort of goth/punk.today the styles will be lame in 20 years!

    yeah-totally!!!

  • OK you are almost 30 and still dress goth. have you not found yourself. you are as trapped in the 80'sw as expose'
