  • PUT EM IN BATTLE MODE U BITCH

  • @thefamilyk lmao!!!!!!!!

  • Why does she remind me of one of those fitness instructors??? One two three four, two two three four…..come on guys….feel tha burn

  • Nice tutorial and it doesn't hurt that you are also gorgeous ;)

  • she can get it!

  • @boknowsbest87 They're not set up in battle position, but not set up wrong. Actually set up how they were made to be set up, as opposed to sideways (battle position.) She's not a turntablist, she's playing dance music with MP3's.

  • MAKE ME A SANDWICH.

  • the turntables are set-up wrong lol...okBye

  • @BoKnowsBest87 no they're not it self preference. I personally use this set up, I find its easier, just because pro's use the vertical set up, doesn't mean people have to jump on the band wagon...

  • @omagron Oh I see. I don't see it as jumping on a bandwagon given it's universally easier since you constantly have to switch form deck 1 to deck 2 and vice versa. But I can see it being a preference for some DJ's though. Made the comment because I've never seen a DJ in person with that set up but like you said it's a preference so I'm sure some people still mix that way.

  • @BoKnowsBest87 Well in a way, it is jumping on the Bandwagon. One person uses this set up and becomes famous, which means everyone does so they can "be like them". Whereas the real DJ's use decks to their own preference which enables them to perform best for their audience. You get me now?

  • @omagron there's nothing wrong with trying t emulate your idol when you get started, you just have to find what works in the long run. Vinyl DJ's find it easier to use the Philly method because we do backspins and and it's easier with the tonearm not in your way.

  • serato dont have sync button just visuals

  • Always been a DJ fave of ours-much love to DJ Leanne and thanks for sharing.

  • This was educational AND entertaining. I would have paid more atention in school if my teachers were this cute.

  • hiare you using virtual dj

  • good job they match. now hit the sync button to get them completely exact

  • @chippy922 serato dont even got a sync button

  • Sooper easy to watch and listen to... GS

  • she wasnt even using a sync button though

  • shes def cute with a teacher like her ill def learn..

  • Just goes to show DJing is in no way gender specific, I hate guys who hate on girl DJ's

  • Well said!

  • Super attractive super cool

  • SYNC FTW!

  • So...

To get started you need a shit ton of money for equipment...?

  • @myHEADisAtv at least 1 -2 thousand

  • @KebbyTheProphet Yeah, not gonna happen.

  • @myHEADisAtv save some money

  • @KebbyTheProphet Work a minimum wage job, rent your own place and pay your own bills then see how much money you have left over to save XD

  • @myHEADisAtv LOL im not ready for all of that. thats why i go to college

  • Only I have the virtual dj and I need the mixer, do you recommend any one?

  • the table is to high for her...

  • wat headphones are u using

  • Try Mixing without looking at a Computer

  • sync buttons are for people that carn t mix for real

  • Good to see Aaron Carter found work.

  • For a good party all you have to have is a pc, a sync button and a good playlist. (:

and of course nice chicks ;D

  • How many marguana required to buy this equipments

  • thanks for the info..... :)

  • u pushed and used the pitch bend to slow it down? I'm confused :S

  • @FlexZDJ Cuz when she slowed it down with the pitchbend, getting the pitchbend back to normal will takes a millisecond or two to get it back to normal pace of the beat. There for it will be off just a tad to you give it that little push to gain back the millisecond lost bringing the pitch bend back to normal. Call it a balancing act if you will. Hope that helped.

  • @djsilverline69 that did help thanks!

  • no sync button ow wat the f,?"

  • @myownway888 Thats for virtual dj lol scratch live was designed for scratching but modern djs use it to actually mix

  • @myownway888 whats wrong with no sync button? I love that scratch live doesnt have a sync button because there is no need for it

  • @myownway888 Sync buttons are a lazy way of DJing. Professional DJ's do not use and even frown upon the nasty sync button. To be considered a DJ (Disk Jockey) you must learn the skills of the trade. The sync button is just like pressing the play button on a cd player and calling yourself a DJ. Just thought Id point that out.

  • just letting you know that your the first person that help me understand all this you make it really easy to understand this every practical....thanks

  • wonderful job ,you speak clear and make it sound easy !

  • I like a lot

  • wheres the sync button? ><

  • her desk looks uncomfortably high

  • what a beautiful dj...

  • sounds like an aerobics instructor

  • wave riding is for chums.

  • very cool!

  • Serato ROCKS!!!

  • so cute!!!

  • that bitch sexy

  • Got Damn She's fine as hell.. She can teach me Serato, Domino, El Paso anytime.. Shit.. I know dude's are constantly hitting on her.. Even Stevie Wonder would try his hand with her..

  • u r pretty and smart

  • OMG! Now I know how to potentially match beats! These two videos really helped. :D

  • Whats the song that plays at the very start of the clip..anyone?

  • @OneManSouljah It sounds like it's Ludacris ft. T-Pain "One More Drink" mixed over some random house beat I don't know. That shit is hot though.

  • Leanne pretty

  • OMG, it suddenly makes sense! Thank you!

  • can anybody tell me what are the name of these tracks please? thank you

  • KITCHEN DJ

  • Does anyone know if she got a facebook..?????

  • SHE SAID "I THINK THIS ONE IS TOO FAST IM GOING TO SLOW THIS ONE(LEFT DECK) DOWN.." BUT SHE SPED IT UP... FAIL

  • @theDEFeffect

    no she didn't

  • @lnynxx100

    yea she did

  • Please save the vinyl!!!!!where is the "human art" using this instruments?

  • I do agree with learning by ear more so but all you assholes saying it's not real just go fuck yourself. We are in it for the love of the music and for some digital is a blessing. Some of you "real" dj's need to drop the ignorance and understand the concept that not all of us can afford vinyl, have vinyl made and produced, like grasp what goes into owning a vinyl. Sorry but i'd rather spend my money on gas to get get to a show for the fans (who care about the music rather than how it's played).

  • perfect transition..

  • I will only watch her...sorry I dont dj just pushed buttons...

  • stop digital vinyl.. keep real vinyl alive... stop downloading.. suport your local record store.. suprort the dj culture.. dig! have fun.. suport the love of VINYL>. dont let this digital age kill us...

  • @johnDfly Or even if there was a balance, DJ's mix things. We should all try to not only mix our music, but mix our styles, equipment, and tools. Master the art of being a DJ. Learn to mix digital to vinyl to CD's, and back. learn that and try to mix live production tools in the mix, Like Abelton Live. This should be essential for any Master DJ.

  • i want to put my penis in your mouth x

  • anybody know what laptop stand that is?

  • SO HOT ;P<3

  • She's a great teacher :)

  • This is just boring

  • mmm, i could do that when i was 12, without programs and stuff, i could hear the tempo really easy of every beat... i guess this laptop visual tempo is even easier... is good for newbies i dont know.... sorry about my english

  • when can we have a session???

  • quit this serato, shit begin with real vinyl!

  • This goes to all the haters ... Besides being Hot she is a good DJ ... LOL....

Now a problem with oldschool guys is that they dont want to upgrade .... seriously wtf ... why dont u guys go back to Cassets and mix . how abt goin back to Blet driven turntables .. Softwares simply reduce a work load on a DJ ..hence they can concerntrate on another mix or on somthing else . eg: Effectes or live remixing .. they dont have to wait to figure out " is that beatmatched" com guys Upgrade

  • me and my friends have been learning for a bit now, them about half a yr. me about 2-3months i practice everyday. they use vdj and sync everything. i beat match have no computer just cdj's and a mixer. as of now....... wen they mix its cool, wen i mix they cant keep up lol and i like how everyone is putting up here to use your ears. im gettin traktor soon but i wanna learn how to without a computer XP

  • BOLOSS

  • BOLOSS

  • BUNCH OF GARBAGE..ANOTHER DJ THAT NEVER USED REAL VINYL...Y USE HEADPHONES IF UR GOING TO BE SCREEN WATCHING

  • @tranzfizie gay

  • Thank god for serato's visual bpm markers

  • @blueredfigure depends what can u afford

don't dj if u r not going to like it my suggestion is to guitar center play some off the products and ask questions I use a djm-800 with 2 1200's because that standard at clubs with searrto but if u are really going to get in it and stay in it invest in good equipment

  • she is soooo freaking cute. I wish she could be my full time teacher!

  • This was the most helpful tutorials I have found..But I'm trying to get the equipment to start djing..anyone have any suggestions on mixers or turntables?? please send me a reply :D just getting started really any help would be appreciated I just got an ion vinyl to mp3 transfer for the holidays so its a very very mild start but a start non the less..

  • this was great! thank you so much

    DJ Duds

  • nice video i think i need some at home training if you know what i mean.....

i have been djing for about 6 months i have all the gear and i have made some cds there good but i wanna make more refined mixes i use traktor scratch pro and i had a couple of questions when you mix 2 tracks traktor controls the volume of both but when i drop the track on the beat there is always one louder than the other how come ??? if you are mixing two tracks do you lower the volume of the track coming in???

  • mannn she is fine!

  • i think wat people get it mixed up is dat serato is a aid or tool if u will u shouldnt rely on it u should rely on your personal skills as a dj

  • @AF1KingKid i brought serato, because i could'nt afford cdj1000's,i've had my 1200's for years-the only downfall is i cant +16 wth my decks.but you can wth the internal player in serato-thats when the keylock funtion comes in(vocals)

  • @diddsy1414 i have serato with 1200's also but what people get mixed up is that serato is an aid and u shouldnt rely on it use it but let it be your handicap...and i really dont like cdj's i dont think there worth the money cuz 1200's last forever

  • i like to listen to two songs in 1 ear lol just sayin......im kidding good quality video A+

  • please marry me!.. or at least give my girlfriend a lesson

  • Comment removed

  • its pretty easy to mix house music...unlike like mixing hiphop which is twice as hard

  • @mileticevapeople like you make me laugh, why is it twice as hard???

  • Does any one have any suggestions for picking up the 8count if you lose it half way through a song?

  • i want her headphones

  • jesus christ, why do people need to look at these vids to learn how to play the decks??matching beats is not fucking rocket science love!i was looking for pros and cons of serato and i stumble on this tripe ffs

  • when you use the pitch control, does serato change the bpm on your screen to match what you just did?

  • turn them decks off n strip

  • @fergielickmalid you`re fukn right!

  • your so hot

  • she is better then that girl that works for the expert village idiots

  • whats the song at the start .. its one more drink by ludacris but i dont know who remixed it

  • ohk so guys is there a site where i can just buy like bulk packs of dj or dance music

    like a safe site?

  • @DjDeSpin trackitdown,beatport

  • DJ Leanne needs to marry me. :D

  • coo, but kinda cheating..... Learn by ear. If you can.

  • @gollygfunkera thats y i tell everybody, ur meant to use ur ears and not visual aids, what then happens when there's no laptop for example, or when u just have to play with vinyls for competitions for instance

  • If you get their beats matched will any two songs work with each other? And what was it that she "dropped" at 4:33?

  • @elmarfootballsitis

she droped the first song /record

  • @elmarfootballsitis she droped the volume slider of the original tune, yes in theory two songs will go together(most dance music will)its when their not quite the same key, they will sound funny, get a copy of mixed in key, that will sort it out for you

  • If you get their beats matched will any two songs work with each other?

  • @elmarfootballsitis

    i dont think so

they still need to be in harmony with each other for a bit of time i would think ( im in no way a dj)

  • @elmarfootballsitis I believe that will fall under the music flow category. But beat matching is one of the few fundamentals that a DJ will need to have and master

  • what kind of tables are those

  • @ddsstm Technics 1210's.

  • sertato is bs hav so many frends that cant work any thing elss uther then serato or tracker since it is basicly like play tiger woods golf no ear requyerd hahaha every 1 should start with vynal b4 evor calling them selvs a dj

  • is it just me or is the left table playing more louder on the left side if you have headphones and the right table on the right side

  • 120BPM. What a surprise.

  • is it ok to practice without headphones???

  • @woolensheep192 that's not advised

  • @woolensheep192 yes it is ok it mihgt be easyer to her the beet lining up at first but with the head fones its eazy er to disyfer between wut track is playing with cdj'z it quite easy to mix with out head fones

  • She Looks So Beautiful when She Smiles @ 5:23 <333

  • No she' not she looks like a man with make, up shes iight :) DJ

  • thank u ssssooooo much!! =)...now i dont have to use virtual dj and not cheat

anymore lmao xD!! Your video's the best!!

  • dont teach them to be a visual DJ!!!!.....go with your ears!

  • @ticouser1 I agree with you exept that that this is a guide of how to use serato Itch ;)

  • @ticouser1 It's a good program if you are deaf in one ear and love music and djing. You can't really beat match with headphones if you can only hear in one ear. I can only hear in one ear and now it's a lot easier for me to dj because of this program.

  • @ticouser1

    **face palm**

this is why she is showing you the method of counting the rythm/beat...maybe you should learn listen...

  • @cwdc2 yes..rlly?...you rlly think ppl will be counting when they are in front of a crowd and get nervous..lol..those gay ass colored wave forms pretty much puts delivers everything fot you..all you need is a simple bass swap..and an exit..but im sure these kids are much more interested in playing the hottest part of a track, then thinking of clever ways on how to exit a track. im telling you this cuz this is what i hear from serato dj's

    suck my balls.

  • @ticouser1 THANK YOU!! What kind of real fu*kin DJ looks at the wave file to DJ????!?!?!? That is some fake, lazy sh%t right there and if she was ever a real DJ she would know that!!

  • @bkdj74 HAHAHAHA shes actually pretty big and gigs at real serious clubs and events. I GUESS YOUR the one that doesnt know that tho. so hmmmmmm

  • @bkdj74 exactly...im only 20 yrs old..and currently holding a gig at one of nyc's hottest clubs!..PACHA NYC!...and im a music lover before anything else...i dont see any of these real DJ's who spin on the main floor using no fucking labtop! use your EARS! use your HEART!

  • @ticouser1 but being a visual DJ is not a handicap...more possibilites.....

  • @ticouser1 Get with the industry

  • @TheRealDJLukie get with the music :D

  • You are mad cute and so smart go girl -:)

    I neen to practis more

  • you are rocking!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Whats the mix at the beginning of the video with Ludacris ?

  • @appleidinesh idk the beat but the acapella is from "one more drink" ludacris/t-pain

  • @tdotkemp Yea I know that, what is that beat?! ahh!

  • You are mad cute. I could listen and learn from you all day. Thanks for the videos.

  • this is a very good fundamental explanation of how to dj. plus its fun to watch since she's pretty cute :)

  • Oh my god you are so adorable!

  • i like her headphones.... whats the brand?

  • "had to learn with just my ears"

thats the point is it not?

  • good info, i use serato and its pretty easy to beatmatch, more emphasis should be put on beatmatching without the waveform though IMO, a video on how to tell fast or slow without the waveform would be helpful

  • do yourself a favor and buy yourself a crate of vinyl, some modest turntables and a mixer without any bells and whistles. master your dj'n technique on your primitive setup then make the switch to high end gear. you will be like a fucken ninja on the good stuff and burn all the suckers on any gear. Learn the basics, don't take any shorts. stop being lil short cut taking snot nose bitches!

  • I like your style- professional with a great personality. thanks for the videos.

  • you're a professional with great personality. thanks for the videos.

  • Please make more videos with her! It's easy to understand, and very motivational!

  • heyy, what songs are played in this mix?

  • Use ur ears not ur eyes

  • damn she just mad me want to mate with a female dj

  • SAVE THE VINYL

  • damnnn r u single??? lol

  • 5:04 Serato gives you Visual Aids?! I've heard of Squirrel Aids but this...

  • sweet

  • she's absolutely right, if you don't love music you shouldn't pick up djing.

  • can you count any song in an 8 bar phrase in 4/4 time? should you be doing this in order to beatmatch?

  • @naaz82 yes most dance songs you can, sometimes the producers will start it funny, but as a rule of thumb,it 4/4 time, when you mix break beat you have to imagine the 4 beat is there.a breakbeat sample is usualy 8 beats long

  • Isn't looking on the waveform sort of cheating?

  • @ReboyGTR

it can be classed as cheating, but you have alot of DJs who rely on serato but cannot read waveforms.

  • @ReboyGTR no, serato is no where near cheating. those who say it's cheating cant afford serato or traktor and talking crap is all they got.

  • @powershout

Well, you still gotta learn how to match the beats with your ears, not your eyes and if you're using CDJs,you can look where you are in a tune and when it ends on the display of the CDJs because they don't have that sort of waveform thing so you can match the beats with your eyes! Beatmaching should be done with your ears and that's why i'm trying to learn just that!
