Ask the top and mid level fighters in the ufc. They can now afford to work full time in MMA. Granted, the fighters just starting out make jack shit, but thats normal in most business. U have to work your way up by skill or popularity. If the ufc ran itself like affliction or some of the others that went under, they would go under themselves and then no fighter would benefit. As the ufc becomes bigger, maybe in few years, there will be sponsors like nike,tv money etc & more money for fighters.
