  • they rerecorded this in 1944 never released/ love to hear it

  • John Sforza here. Thanks, beyonetyratina, for the mention of "Swing It!" You were right...Patty & Maxene suffered from colds the day they recorded this for Decca, as told by Maxene to Joe Franklin on NY's WOR-AM radio in 1979. They recorded "Scrube Me Mama with a Boogie Beat" the same day & Patty's congestion is evident during her solo spot, but the final result was great, nonetheless. This posting is a bit slow in speed, as is most of the trio's work when digitally transferred prior to 2000.

I guess I read it wrong, don't know which book I read though? But yeah, you're right... no matter how off they were, even if slightly, they sang wonderfully. Also, reviewers said they "Chinese puzzles set to off key music."

  • @deanmurdock1

Well, everybody's opinion counts. I actually don't like this version either... I like their re-recorded version better.

  • At the tme I was writing this comment I represented the 84th view of this video. It rates a lot more than that.

  • @isuckaman

Thank you. That's very kind of you to say that. LOL, I guess there are so many other "I'll Be With You..." that this one doesn't get a lot of views ;)

Thanks for commenting and being the 84th viewer ;)
