  • can I please have my 8 SECONDS BACK

  • Why using the siren and stopping vehicles ahead when turning right?

  • Different departments call it different things. In Memphis we don't use terms Code 3 or Code 20...we just say blue light n sirens lol. But Code 20, Code 3 are just different ways different departments use to mean blue lights and sirens. I know some just call it Emergency Mode.

  • There is no "universal" code system in the states. Every department is different, some use code 1-5 for response types, some use code 10-50, the service i work for in texas uses Priority 1-5 to determine response type.

  • What is a Code 20?

  • Code 20 = Lights and Sirens

Code 10 = Without Lights and Sirens

  • code 3?

  • Maybe over there is code 20 but out here in west america is code 3

  • i live in southington, and i noticed the dont use code 2 or code 3......how do you know what they are saying when it comes to "codes"

  • Well first off, my parents are/were police officers with GPD, and I am an explorer who knows all the radio codes.

  • is code 3 only in the central and western states, or is code 20 department specific.?

  • department specific.

  • Love the dual siren!!

  • same ... i love goin Code 20

  • Ive been there! I live in Southington but yea.
