  • Fragile is in the eye of the Box Tosser!!!

  • As a experienced U.P.S Driver Helper i'll say fUCK U.P.S and give me the rest my money you stupid rich bastards owe me...

  • Leave the UPS man alone

  • Give them something to BREAK!

  • Try doing the job of a UPS driver, and you'll see that a package will fall or slip out of your hands once or twice. "Fragile" is also in the eye of the beholder. As an employee of UPS, I try to always treat fragile packages as such, but some of them are literally packages full of bricks or bolts (when packaged poorly, a 45lb package of bolts will split when lifted).

  • as a UPS driver I won't defend throwing packages but I will defend the point that we do our job fairly well. to those who have something negative to say, shut the fuck up cause you obviously don't undrstand how UPS works. i have seen more drivers fired for going over their time rather than damaged packages. management doesn't give a shit but that doesn't mean that us drivers don't care. we just do what we gotta do sometimes!!!

  • I heard that they are given 45 seconds to deliver the pkgs and even if the homeowner or business person is there, it's takes longer then that to do the job!

  • Lack of training and drivers that dont give a shit....

  • So many excuses for these guys who clearly, don't give a shit! Look, if you work at a job and can't perform the duties the way you were trained, what do they do to you? I think it's called, FIRE, TERMINATE, LET GOT, FIND SOMEBODY WHO CAN!!!! Bottom line, THEY GET PAID FOR A SERVICE, WE PAY FOR THERE SERVICE!!! NO EXCUSES!!!! Nough said!

  • @morpheus3d Your an idiot. Corporate america will set unattainable goals designed to screw the little guy every time. I worked a bunch of different jobs but the hardest ive ever worked is at UPS and those drivers bust their asses for 8 to 11 hours a day. Their supervisor doesnt care how its done. They only care when its done, period. Thats the real world not this regurgitated crap your spewing out. "Find somebody who can" your talking out of your ass. its honestly not possible but a man mustwork

  • I've had problems with all three... ups, usps, and fedex....none so serious to complain about but one and it was a substitute mail carrier. He thought it was ok to throw my mail on the ground instead of handing it to me. I told him that was inappropriate and I complained that time. I told them if my regular guy was on vacation I would pick up my mail at the post office and that I didn't want that guy on my property anymore.

  • To be honest, we don't know what is in that box. Only he knows what is being delivered. If he knows it's something like, paper, who cares. If I know it's fragile than okay. But things like, paper & tough plastic, doesn't have to be treated like fine china.

  • Making excuses for bad delivery practices ISN'T a reason to pull crap like throwing parcels, or dumping them like you don't care, isn't nice for the guy who has to open the package, call the shipper and get reimbursed for the damages. Do the job right the first time, if management gets on your case, tell them to do a better job. I've been on the same mail route for 22 years, and will go out of my way to take care of the stuff my folks have delivered to them. Being nice works better for everyone.

  • @Postie218 running mail is nothing like package delivery. It's easy to run a mail route for 22 years when it never changes and your average parcel is less than a lb. Here in TX I have seen mail couriers do just as bad. Not to mention if it weighs more you have to pick it up. What about the parcel bins you guys use in the sort rooms. You cram 200 plus packages w/o regard to contents or packaging. Get over yourself the PO is just as bad if not worse than UPS.

  • Comment removed

  • @Postie218 Actually I have Mr Defensive and have worked alongside many people from the PO, UPS & FedEx. You seem to think that this guys is doing something different than other drivers. I assure you he isnt. Your condescension of him when he works harder than you think is what ticked me off. Most I have met in the PO admit it is a cush ass job (if you have the patience to get it). So what he was doing is getting his job DONE asap that is what people pay for. I would put money nothing was damaged

  • @jmsperez105 Your a liar, you know nothing.

  • @jmsperez105 You "worked alongside many people from the PO, UPS & FedEx" !! Ok, junior, let me let you in on a clue. I have 31 years USPS and I "KNOW" UPS and FedEx drivers personally. Your "worked alongside" is one of those phrases we hear a LOT, and you know, we (USPS FedEx and UPS employee's) all know it's BS, we've heard your BS before, you impress no one. I made a comment on work ethic, if you can't deal with that, that's your problem. But don't go bullshitting me I know better

  • @Postie218 You try to say that what I am saying is BS because I haven't worked 31 yrs at the USPS, but "I know UPS & FedEx drivers personally" is not the same as I have worked as a UPS driver. Why don't you ask those drivers what they think of a mail route compared to their rtes. When I say I have worked along side somebody that means I have done what they do and know from first hand experience how hard it is or isn't. While you are probably a good postman don't try to compare the two.

  • @jmsperez105 I never did compare anything to USPS, for crying out loud, READ MY FIRST FUCKING POST !! And I know full well what "they" do and they know my work as well. We talk, we have lunch, and as I said before, we know bullshit when WE see it. Now go away.

  • @Postie218 As for impressing you that was not my aim. I am just tired of reading these comments saying how this guy doesn't know how to do his job. These guys work hard and don't deserve that kind of reputation videos like this (& comments about their work ethic) give them. Quite frankly I don't need you to clue me into anything I have my own personal work experiences for that.

  • @jmsperez105 Yea right, come find me when it's 38 degrees, pouring rain and walk the nine and a half miles of my route, then we'll talk more.

  • i dont know what all of these drivers are talking about. OMG I HAVE TO DO MY JOB. wtf do you have to complain about. if the job needs done get it done right. if they are gonna fire you over treating people packages right then go find another job or get fired doing your job. i work for a shipping and logistics company i know what being on time is like. sorry, your package can wait till morning. but make metallica or taylor swift, the black eyed peas, if i take my time with them. i think ups can.

  • This is nothing, FedEx ground is worse.

  • greesey looking bald dude whinning like a little bitch!!!!! what ,did ups driver drop the boxes a whole 6 in,what do you have in the box, egg's!! start maning up d-bag

  • I'm just glad i'm not in the glass business xD

  • Gotta admit as a UPS driver myself, management expects a driver to take 30sec for a single delivery. It's suuppose to take 1min for a bulk or business stop. It's very unrealistic. That's why on average it will take a UPS driver about 9.5-10hrs to complete all of his stops. I'm not saying that we have the right to trash people's property, it's just that we have a very small window to get deliveries AND pickups done. Just make sure you have insurance on your packages!!!! ;)

  • @cblackist best advice. Insure your crap and pack it properly

  • Were the contents inside of the package alright? That's the least that package has been through in it's journey from A to B.

  • working for ups is like working in a nazi death camp... been with them maggots for 15 years now... they pay excellent but they get their moneys worth

  • if i make it to sept 7, 2011, ill be a 40 year ups employee ...they suck now ......i used to be proud to say i worked at ups.,...... not now......

  • UPS SUCKS, but your a total pussy, crying about nothing. Dont have them deliver your cakes or rare fragile decrotive russain eggs. I bet your fat and dont know what its like to work, or you would have some insight on how hard that mans job is.

  • UPS sucks...I totally agree

  • why does everyone mess with these guys? they are given an insane amount of packages to drop off plus they have to deal with morons all day long.

  • @cbr6864 AMEN

  • Really not as bad as it looks,if anything broke from that it would be the shippers fault for not packing it right!

  • WOW that's 9 boxes out of 5 million. One stupid guy in a sea of helpful resourceful workers. I mean, do you think you can do all of their jobs better? Shame on you for making this, please go back to your job and stop being so rude.

  • lazy!

  • I am just amazed in this day in age with the mass amount of available news and media people are still unaware of the coming financial change. They are so worried they retain their bloated salaries they don't care where it comes from and for some reason think a 2011 dollar is just like the 2002 dollar, it's almost like basic mathematical skills will disqualify one from becoming a union member. Keep them dumb, keep them happy, keep them working, government teamsters 4ever.

  • 1USACracker spews: "you're very comfortable sitting in college on your capitalist parents dime while listening to liberal-America hating, professors teach you how bad capitalism is"

--Ha ha ha...again with the moronic statements. I hate liberals they are disgusting I hate them more then Unions. Obama loves Unions, liberals love Obama, end of story.

Just last weekend I seen a teamster bitch sporting at "Obama Biden for Unions" bumper sticker so take your spin and post it on Kos dipshit.

  • this is actually a UPS driver trying to get the shit done faster, i blame THE COMPANY, for this kind of things, when you do the right thing, is gonna take you forever to deliver 200 to 300 pkgs a day, is gonna take you at least 10 hrs to do the job if you do it right, then management, is gonna be harassing you, and accusing you of stealing time, UPS a shity company to work for! no respect for their employees at all!

  • @olgaa30 Sad but true the drivers care its mgmt that does not care.

  • @olgaa30 ,

Wow! I actually thought I had written this post! SPOT ON. When you're taken in the office twice a week and threatened to, "Stay off the radar or else", this is what you get! When the last of the founding fathers of UPS died, the new batch went to this managment technique...it's very disgraceful. We work ruthlessly and do our best, only to get verbally abused...

  • @olgaa30 I agree. Cause I work for them. Its like legalized slavery.

  • @olgaa30 hell yeah i know exactly what you mean

  • @olgaa30 I'm a part time supervisor, and I can vouch for what he's saying. My manager told me one night "I don't care what you have to do, but dog these guys and get as much work out of them as you can." The "production goals" (quotas) are outrageous, and furthermore, next to impossible at times. This isn't the drivers fault. And going beyond that, I've found that 9 times out of 10 damages or missing contents, can usually be traced back to upper management.

  • did they break?

  • I use to fly for a company that had a UPS contract to haul boxes. I would load and unload about 4000 lbs of freight twice a day. You work hard, and you have to get it done in a reasonable period of time. All this video shows is that a box gotten way from the driver. It happens. The hardest part of that job was not flying the airplane, it was loading and unloading. UPS is an ok company, Flown for a FedEx contractor too. Also USPS, and Bypass mail in Alaska.

  • @charlietarr I agree. As a long time shipper of electrical supplies (over 25 years) I have seen the rise of FedEx and the demise of UPS. We will not ever ship anything fragile via UPS, especially lamps. FedEx has a much better track record for shipping packages on time and in good condition. I have nothing to gain by promoting either shipping company.

  • Ah yes, this package is handled with all of the tenderness that was shown by Ace Ventura towards the package given to Tex Cobb in "Ace Ventura, Pet Detective".

  • charlietarr: you are the dumbest person ever! Ups drivers make so much more money than Fedex drivers. And the union that so called steals your money gives you a really nice pension plan at retirement. What does fedex do? ups benefits and pay is so much better.

  • @famousmisfit138 I agree 100% UPS driver can make over 90,000 a year & gets bluecross & aetna.Can't beat that!

  • Packages come out the back of the van not the front, something doesn't add up here. This whole scene reeks of a setup. You can't blame the driver for a load that is loaded out of order.

  • @jigglypiggly When will union blackmailers ever learn that your days are numbered? You and your liberal friends just got kicked to the curb a few weeks ago and in a couple of years you will get another well deserved kicking. Unions = Legal blackmail.

  • @swstryker Where did I say I supported the unions? They are communist trash.

  • @jigglypiggly Never was a lazy person with an easy job ever having to do anything out of their job description. the video is typical of the way UPS handles packages. I work for fedex which pays better, is safer to work for and cares about the condition that the packages are in. You get in trouble if you don't use hand to surface loading techniques. Plus I paid a union to STEAL my wages when they offered no benefits for parttime. I have excellent benefits working parttime at fedex.

  • @jigglypiggly Never did I see one flourescent bulb make it through in tact. But for the 6 months I worked there everyday the trucks had broken glass throughout the truck from these smashed bulbs. my guess is that burned out flourescent bulbs coming from skyscrapers in NYC were repackaged and sent through UPS because they knew they would be smahed to bits and insurance would have to pay for them and there would be nothing left as evidence. Plus the lazy workers were given the easiest jobs.

  • You have to pack things to suffer these eventualities. Shippers always drop packages and stack them too high. Proper packing would avoid 90% of the breakage.

  • Never had anything broken when shipped by UPS United parcel service.Amazing record no just the average from UPS and from multipule locations so you cannot say it's just one route.

  • I used to work at ups and yes they treat packages like shit I was a package handler which meant I either loaded or unloaded packages on trucks. When you load trucks they throw packages at you on a conveyor belt system packages would get stuck so you have to clear the jam and most of the time it meant stepping through a mountain of packages to get to the jam.

  • This reminds me of of the smashed up, run over looking packages that I get from UPS. I have gotten so many broken products shipped with them I have lost count. Even after complaining to the managers here, it did not help. The UPS driver has a truck thats about 25 feet long and all the packages end up stacked in a pile, he literally walks on my items all day long while emptying his truck! I'm the last stop of the day. This company has some serious problems..and could care less about your stuff

  • I can guarantee you buddy, those packages have been dropped before this. I worked in the hub for UPS and this sort of stuff is normal.

So cry me a river you fat bald fuck. Fucking pawn shop clerks are like tow truck drivers, lazy assholes, all of them.

  • @TheCottonTop What a dumb shit. Advertising for his store with a video of his merchandise getting roughed up. Durr!

  • I worker at a warehouse for 7 years, the UPS guy would come twice a day, and every time he backed in the dock, it was like a race. He was out of breath by the time he left..

  • what can brown do for you? BEND OVER AND I WILL SHOW YOU!

  • Ya know you can sue that guy right you just have to get his information and go to court i mean you have it on tape just play it in court

  • @drh1111 lol sue him for droping a package 2 feet? goto hell you fem

  • hey fuck stick if you didnt want your garbage shipped ups you should have used the ass fucks from fed ex damage your pawn shop rip off trash. eat shit asshole. I would have thrown your shit off the top step while doing 30mph. wait better yet i would have sent it back to the peice of shit who stole it from someone else then sold there stolen property to you. fag!

  • Packages need to be able to survive a waist high drop. its one of UPS' rules when you ship.

This video only shows one box falling from maybe two feet high. Also, there's nothing wrong with stacking boxes on top of one another. How do you think they get to UPS facilities? In a trailor packed tightly. Boxes on top of boxes. Sorry guy, but the video you made is lame. Bad music choice too. Limp bizkit, really?

  • This is the same shit they did to my Beyma 12" Subwoofer that was suppost to be new. But when UPS put their hands on it, they fucking destroyed the subwoofer. Broke a piece off of a 400.00 woofer. What a bunch of idiots. I WOULD NEVER EVER USE UPS, no matter how they might improve our economy.

  • I can't possibly understand why people are surprised.

  • @jigglypiggly ups loses all credibility after asking for a bailout because fedex was putting them out of business. cheap move

  • he barely even dropped it........ quit your bitching u bunch of whiners... people like you look for shit to complain about and youll never be happy

  • if you think this is bad, you should see the inside of any ups trailer......

  • Time for a non-scientific survey.

Youtube search :UPS SUCKS = 1150 videos.

Youtube Search: Fedex Sucks = 85 videos.

  • @Goingpostal1000 Whoops, bad example. Just looking thru and UPS sucks has a bunch of videos about Suck ups and stuff. (of course the fedex ones have off topic videos to) LOL My point is if UPS didn't suck why would so many people be so adamant about complaining? We just didn't single UPS out and decide to pick on them. Its because they make our lives hard and really suck at there jobs. All there shitty unionized labor that knows they are protected and dont care.

  • Comment removed

  • @jigglypiggly Oh sure! But it seems like there is an extraordinary amount of backlash against UPS.

  • @jigglypiggly No one hates Vodka so you fail.

  • @lin545 You think Vodka is a company?

  • @jigglypiggly If you think unions are "communist horse-shit" then I suggest you read Upton Sinclair's The Jungle and see how grand the US was before them. Do you uneducated peasants know anything about the industrial revolution??

  • @obloquy2 Ad Hominem in your first flipping reply. Fail.

Have you ever worked in a Unionized Company?

Actually, have you ever worked period? Or just collect government benefits like a fat leech sucking on a limb.

  • @jigglypiggly UGH I ship for a living and after 15 years as a UPS loyal company we couldn't take it anymore and dropped them entirely. Problem after problem. Almost every day! And then have you ever tried to file a claim with them? "Our claim dept doesn't have a phone number" uh.. I bet they do! Retards! Auto rejection every time.

  • @Goingpostal1000 and you think FedEx, or ANY big company for that matter, is any different?

Wake up and smell the 21st century, brother, big businesses rule your life.

  • @jigglypiggly We have had EXTREMELY few problems with fedex. And we ship thousands of packages with them a month. And the big difference, if they do mess up they immediately pay the insurance claim. UPS is ridiculous.

  • @jigglypiggly And I know, obviously you work for them. If UPS does one thing well its making a loyal employee. We had a UPS rep come into our company and ask why we had gone away and it was a 1 hour meeting giving him one example after another of ridiculous exceptions and lost packages.

  • @Goingpostal1000 Nah, I don't work for UPS, I'm currently enrolled in Law Enforcement and Criminal Psychology classes.I've had problems with UPS in the past, as I have with every major postal service, but UPS always fixed the problem in very short order.

This video is, as Penn and Teller rightfully put it, BULLSHIT!

They are not receiving government aid because they are bigger, they are receiving it because they are unionized, LIKE EVERY OTHER UNIONIZED BUSINESS IN AMERICA IS, not just UPS.

  • @jigglypiggly Well with bailouts UPS should be breaking shit for years to come...

  • @darthspeaks There is no bailout.

    This is false fed-ex propaganda.

Google it, the Bill Fed-ex is propagating is in actuality a labor legislation that is making Unionizing easier, FOR ALL UNIONIZED COMPANIES.

Fed-Ex is NOT unionized, so they are upset that they are not getting the same support.

  • @darthspeaks Conversely, FedEx does not want to unionize because they will make less money, because their employees will make more.

They will not let their employees vote on unionization, and union officials are not allowed on FedEx property.

  • I always say "What can Brown Doo Doo for you?" cuz that's what their service is... doo doo brown!

  • Why did they get a government bailout then? I refuse to do business with ANY company that steals borrowed tax dollars. I'll not buy another GM or Chrysler product and I'll NEVER ship with UPS again.

  • @jigglypiggly Why did they get a government bailout then? I refuse to do business with ANY company that steals borrowed tax dollars. I'll not buy another GM or Chrysler product and I'll NEVER ship with UPS again.

  • @jigglypiggly I think he wants each of those 350,000 people doing their job properly.

  • @nexus1g Name one company with 350,000 people where everyone does their job properly. I'll give you a few days.

  • @jigglypiggly I said that's what he wanted, not what was reasonable.

  • @nexus1g and I want world peace, free energy, free food, and a Ferrari.

  • @jigglypiggly Good for you.

  • Yep, this is typical UPS. All Union and NO brains!

  • They're a million times better than FedEx.

  • @bricitybrac NOPE! FEDEX beats UPS hands down! FEDEX has one form for domestic shipping. The dumb asses at UPS have at least 6, with very little space to write ANYTHING on the forms. UPS is a bunch of Union dumb asses!

  • @TTURedRaidr I only know from personal experience. I work with a company and deal with lost package claims for UPS and FedEx all day. Every time I call UPS, I get someone who knows exactly what they are doing. Every time I cal FedEx, it sounds like it's the reps first day on the job.

  • @TTURedRaidr Possibly one comment I agree about, UPS and FedEx could be better but UPS is unionized, Unions are communist crap.

  • @jigglypiggly OK asshole, so its alright for Doctors, Accountants, Lawyers, and every other highly paid professional to be organized, but not working-class people? Corporate America thanks you for being their useful idiot.

  • @uwiwithanuzi You think it's possible for working class people to be a well running machine? LOL

They receive so many packages that it is IMPOSSIBLE (read, IMPOSSIBLE) for them to take complete care of every package they receive, even if EVERY single worker was the caring Joe that America likes to display it's workers as, (In reality a 36 year old Mexican father of 7 who hasn't even gotten his GED)

I'm tempted to report you for that offhand insult, but I'll let children be children.

  • i used to work for UPS, think thats bad, you should see what happens in their Hubs. especially around xmas time!

  • @jigglypiggly Deport the mexicans!

  • I worked at UPS in the 90's. They suck bad. They hire "minority majority", most of whom can't speak English, and have no regard for property. The plants are overloaded to milk every dollar. The Mesquite Hub breaks down every hour. Its like a free break time. They DO destroy packages. Its usually not the drivers, its the warehouse! Sometimes its the conveyor machinery. Stuff jams up all the time and that contributes to lots of breakages.

  • @stopglobalswarming Yeah, and they pay their truck loaders who work their living butts off, $9.00/hr. Cheapskate company!

  • @TTURedRaidr When I worked there I got $8.50 ! (1990s)

  • The problem with UPS is the Union.

Manager: Please put that package in the car

UPS Union worker: No, that is not my job

Manager: Do you know who's job it is?

UPS Union worker: It is also not my job to find out.

Manager: I guess I will do it myself

UPS Union worker: No, that is stealing work from the Union

Manager: Will you help me lift it into the truck?

UPS Union worker: No, sorry I worked by 8 hours, I don't care, I am leaving.

  • @justaquicklook Good thing most OTR truck drivers are not union....You think package delivery was bad when UPS went on strike?? Imagine your grocery store shelves bare....that would be a national OTR truck drivers strike...too bad most of them cannot afford a week off w/out pay....great for the consumer!!!

PS I hate Unions too....I dont like lazy and incompetent people being protected...

And, I have had to wait hours on Union docks for just 2 pieces of feight, unpaid, as I was on mileage pay

  • @justaquicklook

    sums it up prefectly.

  • @justaquicklook

    sums it up perfectly

  • @justaquicklook clueless

  • @justaquicklook Are you a supervisor? Sounds like it to me.

  • @ctvikesfan1963 LOL, I could never work for a company so infected with Union members. I work for companies that can get rid of poor performing employees thus making the company function to its full potential, in contrast with UPS and UAW .

For everybody's safety it's best I never work around teamsters because I cannot stand lazy turds just sitting around watching other people work.

  • @justaquicklook ,

Let me know when you ever find a lazy UPS driver! BTW, I'll be carefully considering your views when buying my retirement home at the Florida coast this summer and collecting my pension every month!

  • @1USACracker I just found 6 and 1 offensive driver.

Did you want me to count just the lazy ones or the ones too dumb to wipe their own ass thus appearing to be lazy?

Go ahead and plan on spending dummy, your endless absurd financial demands are going to come back to haunt you.

Make sure you buy a home with thick walls. Walls that will withstand stray rounds from the coming chaos..enjoy the bed you made, beef will soon be $10 a pound and your savings will be worth Union work ethics, SHIT!

  • @justaquicklook ,

You must be seeing a whole team of doctors...or...you're very comfortable sitting in college on your capitalist parents dime while listening to liberal-America hating, professors teach you how bad capitalism is. Enjoy hugging trees, wearing Bob Marley shirts, protesting people who work for a living, but one day you'll be out on your lazy ass and have to join capitalism to afford hemp clothing and cases of green tea.

  • @justaquicklook You're going to find someone who can beat the system regardless of where you go. This is almost ridiculous.. I'm sure if you worked with me, I'd consider you laziest terd to date. You're screaming lazy and union nonsense. UPS can fire anyone within the first 30 days. 3/4 never make it... god forbid if they started firing the lazy ones.

  • @justaquicklook ,

What color is the sky in your college, pot head, world? Why don't you join the revolution in Egypt? Pretty cool huh? I'd give you one hour before we see you tortured on al jazirah tv by those, "equally minded activist". Rock on mindless dork!

  • @justaquicklook You are talking out your ass. If the union is SUCH a BIG problem, you jackass, please explain UPS's continued, positive growth and profit? "der....lush dumbaugh sed unyunz iz bad". Moron.

  • @kenfo0 "please explain UPS's continued, positive growth and profit? "

Dude are you serious? Google "BROWN BAILOUT" moron. After reading intelligent comments from you and your few supporters on this video I now see the G.E.D graduates of the UPS union.

  • @just That's easy, stupid SOB: we're in a severe economic downturn, affecting MOST businesses. It's no surprise that UPS is having problems, unless you are a dumbass who can't even qualify for a "union G.E.D.". You see, d/a: when people aren't buying things, fewer things are shipped.FedEx is a tiny fraction of the size of UPS and has a different business, so they may not be affected as much. UPS has been growing since 1907, and they will continue despite your whining about "unions". Dumbass.

  • @kenfo0 Hey GED guy, the request was for me to explain why UPS continued positive growth and profit. My answer was the BROWN BAILOUT and you respond with some piss poor explanation of supply and demand. Funny.

  • @just Further, d/a, my comments in no way support the idea of corp. welfare. UPS should get NOTHING. The point is your childish, pathetic ideation, clearly planted in you by corporatists like lush dumbaugh and the leprachaun. Funny...they don't have a problem being paid tens of thousands of dollars an hour for their efforts, but a working man should make $10/hr, live in a hut and die quietly w/o comment. There is plenty of money to go around for everyone who helps make a company successful.

  • @kenfo0 Oh pardon me, your president has divided the nation with racial rhetoric and class warfare and all of a sudden I AM supposed to be civil? FUCK OFF, FUCK YOU, and FUCK YOU OBAMA SUPPORTING BOTTOM FEEDING MOOCHES.

I have to go back to work so I can pay taxes so da big gubmint can give his union thugs more entitlements.

  • Don’t mind kenfo0, he’s been obsessively trolling on the internet for years now, so he’s had plenty of practice. Although he’s a bitter xenophobic and homophobic man with an abrasive personality, he’s mostly harmless. He’s like the village idiot of Youtube. It’s best to ignore him and he’ll either get bored and go away or become frustrated and make more of a fool of himself.

Beware poor spelling, punctuation and grammar are his favorite foods.

Check his comment history or google his name.

  • man, I worked for UPS, and I would see the preloaders and sorters literally using packages as soccer balls.

  • @jigglypiggly I was on two loading docks in two locations, Warwick RI and Franklin Village Mass. Everyone there was just heaving packages, and I got yelled at for handling a package with a fragile sticker on it, the supervisor said I was "treating it like a F'ing china doll" because I ran it over to the truck instead of throwing it. It really IS the company, not just a few bad employees. I have also received deliveries from UPS for my home business (electronic parts) and close to 1/2 is damaged.

  • @punkeratheart Sigh, and they still don't realize how many packages UPS gets on a daily basis.

PACK YOUR PACKAGE properly and there is NO possibility of it getting damaged during a toss. If the package is intentionally broken, report them.

  • @jigglypiggly I know what they have to deal with because I did it for over 3 years. I pay extra for something to be shipped with caution. There is no packaging that can protect certain electronic parts (for example, vacuum tubes) when the package is going to be drop-kicked. They charge money for a service. The wholesalers could drop-kick the packages to me themselves, but it's better to use a courier service that will handle it as if it was being PAID FOR!

  • @punkeratheart Hmmm, like what? FedEx? Pooolease, they fuck stuff up worse than UPS.

    USPS? Haha, same deal.

It's the lesser of three evils.

  • @jigglypiggly I did NOT say anything in praise of the post office or fucking fed-ex! They are awful too! I have the same problem with them! Really, I hate the fact that in general, all courier/freight/shipping "services" are absolutely awful, and as for the "lesser of evils", I think that would be just buying a car with fantastic gas mileage and delivering everything my fucking self. Sounds like a lot of effort right? Not really, compared to dealing with THEM!

  • @punkeratheart It has more to due with the sheer number of packages being sent all the time.

Ideally in 5-10 years a better system what be in place but not under the dictatorship of Nobama.

  • The U. SW. Postal service built huge bulk mail centers all over the country that were capable of handling such a volume of parcel post that it would have probably put UPS out of business. The facilities and capability were there, but there was one critical thing lacking. UPS has capable management. The postal service put a bunch of unqualified and in many cases stupid supervisors and managers in charge to be politically correct and to play favorites for minorities. The result was obvious.

  • @veniceit1 of course not. Management had no play. They had union playing safety. UPS would have drove itself into the ground without union. Hell, even the company being fined hundreds and thousands for this and that for safety reasons prevented not only the minor lawsuits but federal legal laws from preventing them to operate. You think they still do not continue to operate under harsh unhealthy conditions?

  • @veniceit1 man dont you believe that doesnt happen in UPS, trust me, it does!!!

  • Was that Steve-O! lol

  • Never use a shipping company that looks like "Oops". Fed Ex - when it absolutely, positively has to be there IN ONE PIECE!

  • @plinkytx ... 4 weeks after the deliver date.

  • Ugh, I know, right? What an inconsiderate douche. Playing Limp Bizkit. What the fuck is wrong with you?

  • @jigglypiggly I have yet to have a package delivered by UPS that hasn' been damaged, misdelivered or outright lost. Last package I sent UPS damaged the package and label so badly that my apt # was gone. So what did the driver do? Instead of handing it over to the apartment office, who would know who I am, they sent it back to their hub.... where it promptly went to KENTUCkY!!!!!! I've never even visited Kentucky! When the package finally arrived, it was EMPTY! That's what brown can do for you!

  • @audallas841 report it to the regional manager.

  • @jigglypiggly That's who I talked to. This all happened a month ago, STILL waiting for the "investigation" to.... idk, start? I call them once a week and they say the investigation is still pending. I talked to the company I ordered from, they gave me a refund, but still, as a company who's sole job is to deliver packages you would think they would be able to do it correctly, not hand me an blatently empty and open box.

  • @audallas841 Did you call corporate? If the problem is with the regional and you keep calling the local manager things aren't going to get fixed.

  • I used to work for Evergreen at the Des Moines Int'l. Airport and my job was loading UPS containers on the big UPS jets and once those were loaded, we rolled up the conveyor trucks and stuffed the belly with loose packages. So many times, these guys I worked with (had been long time employees--I had just started) would laugh and go, "Check this out! *FRAGILE!* Then would kick the package like a football up at me in the belly and you could hear the broken pieces. I left after one week.

  • Yes I have reported the damage, filed claims and waited and waited and waited to be reimbursed and given a run around. But as soon as I stopped using UPS and went with other carriers the damage stopped. Once in a while UPS does deliver due to shippers choice and with out fail damaged parcels. Just my personal experience and other people I know that have had problems with UPS receiving parcels at different locations, so that tells me the problem is wide spread.

  • @jigglypiggly Bright enough to know that FedEX and the USPS delivers parcels everyday to me and family member with no damage and everyone UPS delivers is damaged or opened. Fact is UPS is losing business to FedEX rapidly because of their 2nd rate service. No I don't want to see 350,000 people out of a job and I certainly don't want to see stimulus money spent to get this company out of a hole they dug for themselves. If they had better service they wouldn't have a problem would they.

  • @evoval Holy shit, you really are daft.

REPORT THE PEOPLE DELIVERING THE PACKAGES.

It is a person problem, it's not the entire company. I have received dozens of FedEx packages that have been damaged, that does not mean FedEx is a bad company. Both companies have morons working for them. Hell, every company that has PEOPLE working for them will have people that intentionally disrupt the flow of business for their own laughs.

Unbiased sources on the FedEx claim or dismissed as troll.

  • @jigglypiggly liked yr responses m8. at least a few of us have our heads about us. cheers!

  • Why did they get a government bailout then? I refuse to do business with ANY company that steals borrowed tax dollars. I'll not buy another GM or Chrysler product and I'll NEVER ship with UPS again.

  • @stveide1 Fed-ex is not unionized because they are classified as an airline with a truck company and UPS is unionized because they are classified as a truck company with an airline.

    Typical government loopholes.

Do you buy Mitsubishi and Toyota?

  • @stveide1 ""The House passed the $70 billion FAA Reauthorization Act on Thursday with a provision that FedEx adamantly opposes -- making it easier for FedEx Express drivers to be organized by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. ... It permits drivers for FedEx Express to organize into local collective bargaining units under provisions of the National Labor Relations Act and do away with the requirement that they hold national elections under the terms of the Railway Labor Act."

  • @stveide1 UPS has always had to compete with USPS, because of an imposed government tax, UPS has to charge twice the amount for an overnight package that USPS does.

If they charge 3.50, UPS has to charge 7.

  • @stveide1 UPS didn't get a bailout...thats just what FedEx is calling it to taint the UPS name. all this supposed bailout is doing is making it so FedEx has to follow the same union rules as UPS does. UPS makes significantly more money then FedEx does and ships WAYYYY more packages, just look at how big the average UPS truck is you see on the road compared to the average FedEx truck.

  • @stveide1 UPS did not receive any government bailout money. The company did not and does not need government support. The "Bailout" is a blatantly deceptive smear campaign by Fed Ex that is meant to inflame people like you who don't know about the NLRA (see above comments or online). Fed Ex apparently doubts their ability to compete on a level playing field to the point that manipulating the media and public with clearly untrue statements is now an acceptible means of conducting business.

  • @evoval about a month ago i had a ps3 delivered from ups unnopened and undamaged how do you explain that if all their deliveries are damaged?

  • @aft595 Lucky you, 1 package a month ago, now ship and receive 100 in a month, and when you get a damaged one file a claim with UPS and see how that works out for you.

  • @evoval Yeah no kidding. Up until about 1 year ago we did over 1000 shipments a month with ups. Every month we had around 5k in rightoffs and I have NEVER received a check from them for a insurance payout. They couldn't understand why we went to FEDEX. YOUR COSTING US MONEY how hard is that to understand.

  • We got a diaper mixed in to the styrofoam popcorn in our package, and it might have been used.

But seriously, how the hell does a FUCKING DIAPER get into your package!

Did they slip it in as a joke?

  • The real problem is when your package arrives damaged and UPS denies your damage claim because you didn't use their packaging. That's right folks, they try to weezel out of every claim by asking you over the phone if you used their packaging or your own. And when you say that I used my packaging, they deny your claim. That's why I use Fedex, I flat out refuse to use a company who commits a form of fraud in order to reduce damage claims when they hire assholes like this.
