Not compared to this show. The shows in South America, mainly Brazil and Argentina are the best and busiest. I was at the show in São Paulo 04/07/09. Was very busy! Neither was heard the voice of Paul and Gene. Only the people singing. Watch a video of the show in São Paulo, and will know what I'm talking about
Horrible. Just sad. Sorry, I'm a fan of the REAL Kiss, not the half a tribute band version. I'm glad you had fun but you don't know fun unless you saw the REAL Kiss back in the day.
Recently watching the Kiss reunion dvd's from the late 90's, it was apparent that Ace was half the guitar player he used to be. You can't blame Paul and Gene for the original two not being able to pull their weight for the long haul. Sorry.
If they did not use Ace and Peter's likenesses and took off the makeup I'd have little problem with them but they are USING Ace and Peter's makeup to continue the band and it's legacy. This to ME is VERY WRONG.
I agree with you there. I don't understand why they didn't give them original makeup like they did with Eric Carr and Vinnie Vincent. I did see an interview with Ace and he stated that he still receives 25% of all the merchandising from Kiss, so that may have something to do with it. He wasn't complaining.
I can see why they kept Pete and Aces characters. Kiss should be the demon, starchild, spaceman and catman. Yeah, when Eric Carr joined, the fox was a natural replacement for the cat. Then we got an ankk warrior. Now, what characters would've been good for Tommy and Eric, without diluting the KISS image? Hawks, dogs, and the like are dumb, and would start to seem ore like Animal Planet than KISS. Obviously the spaceman/ catman characters aren't all that importand to their creators anyway.
The characters themselves have gone beyond the actual people behind them now. I love Ace but to many people around the world, they would never know the difference. It's the faces and the costumes that they know. That is what KISS is to them...those iconic figures.
It would make no sense to have new characters 35 years into the game..

i did the same, but i was paul lol. my friend just got a grey star with pink outline. we were section 4 row R. lol it was the BEST concert ever!! my first kiss concert, NOT my last!!!<3 and i wore my shirt allll day today. lol.
