This is a real gem. I've never heard Knopfler talk on TV like that, and I've been a fan since the first Straits album came out in '79. My dad was a Scot, so the accent is warm fuzzy for me now.

By the way, music lovers, the song that was given an impromptu performance about 4 minutes in, "Sweet Old World", was written by a very talented singer/songwriter from Texas: Lucinda Williams.
