@ForeverRedskins You should do neither of this workout. I'm assuming you're new to body building, so I'd recommend you doing about 3 exercises for your chest. This could be bench press 3-4 set, 6-12 reps, incline bench press 3-4 set, 6-12 reps and regular flys or machine flys 3-4 set, 6-12 reps. Also, you can't just add something to work it out even more. If you're doing proper form and enough weight you'll be noticeably sore the next day.

@MrSolid92 While shoulders come into play when working chest, if you feel 'em burning, then your technique might be slightly off (you aren't targeting the chest enough) try widening your grip slightly and change you range of motion to go over your pecs and not towards the upper part of your chest (this will not apply when you're on the incline) but better if you can get someone knowledgeable to spot for you and tell you what you're doing wrong...Good luck
are dumbbell press easier then dumbbell fly? or should they be the same? I can dumbbell press 50lbs but i highly doubt that if i could do that with dumbbell fly.
AshhBoyy. it's been proven that resistence training is more effective than cardio for muscle gain and weight loss. the reason being; by increasing the lean muscle mass of your body, you increase your metabolism. Cardio is great! but if you want weight loss i'd recommend adding some resistence training. Also best to really burn your large muscles, it lets off more hormones throughout your body, which help a lot in weight loss. =]

Such an open ended and vague question makes me think you're pretty ignorant on the subject, I suggest you read about and start to learn more and more about exercise and body building.

@eivjack262 yes that'd be good since you're decreasing the reps, if your stamina is bad though you may not be able to because you are too burnt. Don't be dissatisfied by this because it will improve with time and work
If u don't feel anything in your chest may be that u have long arms. Or ur grip is to close medium grip is best. Also if u really have trouble try a pre exhaust on ur triceps like tricep push down so that it chest will have to work harder.
@AshhBoyy if what you meant is that you want to decrease the FAT in your chest, nothing better than good ol' fashioned cardio. Doing the basic exercises in this video will tone it up as well, eventually leaving you with a smaller, tighter version of what you have now
@wwfbtf54 Please don't give advice if you are not fully informed. Cardio reduces muscle size because your fat retains more calories than muscle. If you wanna burn the fat with cardio, you'll burn off your muscle first. To target fat, you need to do interval training. I found skipping works best. Also, for people reading this and want to get in shape, skipping for 10 minutes is equivilant to running for 30 minutes...
@119228337 it MIGHHHT be the you lock out your elbows. try only straightening 95% of the way with some of your exercises so the tension is kept in your muscle being used. for exercises where you need to lock out (chest presses etc) try not to hold the weight locked out for too long so the muscle doesnt rest.
@119228337 The reason people struggle to feel anything on their chest is due to improper form. When you do a bench press always remember to arch the lower back throughout the movement. This will ensure your chest gets the load. Hope this helps.

@jonorocks13 hey, from my experience i find if your lowering your rep for each set, you should increase your weight. However, lowering your weight each set is a great warmup, as long as there's no rest in between.
@jonorocks13 no the more reps you do the less weight.. so as you go down in reps its heavier weights. its more effective. ex 12 reps of 30 then 10 reps of 35 then 8 reps of 40 then 45-50 of 6 reps. it wouldnt make sense doing it the other way.
I did these workouts today. I must say the tree hugging exercises are very effective. For the others I had to up the heaviness of the weights to really feel the burn. Great upload

@ODannyBoi Can do but thats often at a low beginner level. Greg's would have been training for a long time so he can go slightly deeper. If he was training his 1RM in the movement however, he probably wouldnt go past his shoulders.

@Sirus362 Stays the same unless you really can't handle it. Pyramid sets (lowering reps each set) generally keep the weight the same. Drop sets (dropping the weight) generally keep the reps the same. Hope that helped

Nice video. The exercise is definitely good and effective for your chest. Its is a helpful video for beginners like me. I do wanted to share a link of a site that offers workout and dietary plans that you could follow in order to gain lean muscles, burn those fats away and develop a lean muscular look you ever after. Well, i lost weights from 110 Kg to 96 KG at the moment.. My body for sure got better in shape but i still have ridicules moobs and waist fat.. for the moobs i could run those same exercises right ? @MuayThaiViking its all personal preference i guess, but youre getting the same range of motion for the workout if you were to lay on the ground. Its actually a lot safer to chest fly while on the ground in order to prevent shoulder injury. and there is no way in hell you do chest flys with 90 lb dumbells man...

no i think the best thing is to use weights that isnt to heavy, so you can do maximum 8 reps each set.
The best thing is to focus on the excersise and do it correctly.
i always use the same weight by doing those excersises.

Supersets are great if you are looking to shred and rip up.
If you are purely looking to put on size (muscle mass) then you should be maxing out for 8reps (sometimes 6) and doing one exercise at a time.
He is in great shape, but you have to remember his been training for probably 5-7 yrs.

@7595012na the difference is dumbbell chest press allows you to have muscle isolation. With barbell you are just trying to push weight up. @ODannyBoi Can do but thats often at a low beginner level. Greg's would have been training for a long time so he can go slightly deeper. If he was training his 1RM in the movement however, he probably wouldnt go past his shoulders.

@Sirus362 Stays the same unless you really can't handle it. Pyramid sets (lowering reps each set) generally keep the weight the same. Drop sets (dropping the weight) generally keep the reps the same. Hope that helped

Well, i lost weights from 110 Kg to 96 KG at the moment.. My body for sure got better in shape but i still have ridicules moobs and waist fat.. for the moobs i could run those same exercises right ? (But will the counts change or i'd still go for the same?) Hope i could get some help.. And hope no silly comments.

if u want lean muscells mass u should stick to the diet high protien low carb and u can go gym do 4 sets 6 reps depends on your routine and you will gain muscells loose fat but stick to diet no cheating and u wll loose ur belly fat and chest fat let me know if you need help try me

@MuayThaiViking its all personal preference i guess, but youre getting the same range of motion for the workout if you were to lay on the ground. Its actually a lot safer to chest fly while on the ground in order to prevent shoulder injury. and there is no way in hell you do chest flys with 90 lb dumbells man...
