I called xbox customer support and they told me I had to send it in to get the disc drive replaced I hung up on them and punched my xbox in anger... The disc tray closed and read the disc... If mine doesn't read the disc I drop it from about 3 inches onto the carpeted floor.

ok guys i find a way...it is called cd lens cleaner that my dad buyed at japan but i think it has in all over the world . so what you have to do from what i understand is to put acohol (not drinks) on the tape that is on the disk and then u put the disk on the xbox . im sorry for my english and if it does not work im sorry :P but in mine xbox worked !!!!!
