"All My Children" should NEVER have been nominated for Best Show, considering how badly-written it was in 2008. The REAL best show of 2008-2009 was "The Young and the Restless," which STRANGELY wasn't nominated.

As much as i love Vanessa Williams and enjoyed her musical performances, more time should have been given to Guiding Light. It was their moment to shine.

the show goes so cause they only have 30 minutes an episode, plus in that time frame you have to consider commercials so you only getting really 15 mins....They need an hour...they can't solve anything in 15 min

I meant the show seems slow, cause they only have 30 min but the story lines are good they just need more time...maybe now with guiding light off the air and their emmy win they can get a bigger time slot

Thank you for posting! I was wondering what the song was too. What hell was with YR? They were barely around. I wish Sami & Rafe from Days presented something...booo. This year's Emmy's sucked INMO. Plz be better next yr. The producers should ask normal ppl like us what we want to see to make it better & so they will have more ratings. At least I'd have to sit through it since it wasn't on on any regular tv channels. Just awful.

What? Are you kidding me? The show goes so slow, no storylines in The netherlands it's definetly not the most viewed show. I love ATWT, more passion, more fun, more drama, more everything. Only a bad period now but come on.

I am happy that the Bold and the Beautiful won for best show. It really pissed me off that they didn't had enough time for Brad Bell to give his speech.

I am pissed that Brad Bell didn't get to give his speech...I am equally as pissed that Guiding Light was not given the respect that it deserves! If the show had cut out all of the Vanessa Williams singing and dancing sh*t and made the Sesame Street segment a bit shorter, Brad Bell and GL would have had their moment. It is so disrespectful. =(

Thanks for posting. It sucks that we didn't hear B&B's acceptance speech. Was it neccessary to show 5 minutes worth of credits and cut a speech that probably only have been 1 minute? I hope it's a better show next year. I was a little disappointed with this one.
