Incredibly original game despite its technical shortcomings (I guess mostly due to a low-budget production). Anyway, it is worth buying; it has the kind of scenarios (WWI, Civil War) you have always wanted to see in a FPS. Honestly, I am sick of modern warfare and now medal of honor pathetically trying to emulate it. When are you major studios going to do something really kick ass with wars before WWII? It will be much appreciated.

@Mrgyn 581 to be exact. But I can build one for a bit cheaper. Yes it can run all new games on medium to high settings. 30-60 FPS, depending on how demanding the game. I am not lying. I will never spend more than 700 on a gaming PC. 500 dollars gets you a lot if you build your computer. If you go alienware, or other OEM's ya of course you are gonna spend over 1000 dollars. Little piece of advice, do some research man.

This game is a great example of how Nvidia is spoiling the game experience for any one but Nvidia owners. All the physx effect in this game we have seen in other games done very well without Nvidias Physx. When you pay that inflated price for your Nvidia card and see the Nvidia logo on your game now you know. Not to many games makers program for physx why? Because I own a Ati Radeon :P

To whom it may concern how Nvidias physx software update slowed the frame rate from previous software BS.

The PhysX really made this game much more intense. I also have the 360 version and it sucks balls (laggy in some parts).

My only graphical gripe in this game is that the lighting sucks sometimes and it doesnt look as good as other games that implement HDR/bloom.

@dropcitizen the 360 does not support physx thats why, but all the consoles are limited, so they are bound to lag because of hardware restrictions, oh well, u never reli notice physx much anyway when playing a game, go with ATI more power and faster, physx is just worthless tbh, physx can be software powered aswell as hardware. all depends on the game. any game can have leaves flying close by to the camera view of the screen, dont take physx to do that.

Wow, there must be a prettty bad storm going on since the leafs are really lifting off the ground, going to the right, then going to the left, then going to the right. Its like the wind is constantly switching directions and its always fall, what with all the leaves falling off the free at all times.

Oddly, that wind doesn't effect tree branches or grass. Hmm...Physx can't handle trees, grass and leaves all at once or something? Not enough memory/processing power...yet?

Really? @1:30 - 1:40ish I do see some leaves that look like they might be from the soliders but that doesn't really explain the leaves coming from left/right off the screen where they are not soliders? and doesn't really explain the changing of direction of the leaves during some parts of the video. Granted, its an ok effect. Its a bit superficious I think compared to say what tessolation could have brought to make environments or characters seem more realistic with the same GPGPU power.

No, PhysX doesn't control graphics - all that fog and all those leaves are just sprites and particles, but if you haven't noticed the PhysX engine is handling how they move (note the fog spreading when cavalry charge through, the movement of the leaves is being taken care of by the card's processor, etc.)

wtf? physx dont affect graphics... they affect how objects move. Looks like they dimmed down the graphics a bit. Falling debris (not from cannon fire debris...) is not physx-based. Thats eye-candy enabled/disabled in graphics.

today when I look physx comparision video, I said myself, I have done the right choice to go with ATI. Because the physx of nvidia look too unrealistic at my eyes and ugly(I only like the flag effect of the physx thats it). I will understand if in this game there was always a tornado somewhere but it dont look like. I prefer games that dont use the physx engine and if yes will probly never put it on with a nvidia card >_>

It must be, physx can't be put to medium or high without nvidia or physx card.

Tested it today with HD4870 high graphics medium physx = stutter.

With 8600GT physx medium graphics high no stutter. But you're right, those animations are "laggy" and stuttery.
