The crowd were like that beacuse they were all waiting to see metallica play for the fist time in years later taht night, i have seen it happen before great bands play to dead crowds who just want metallica, no offecne to metallica fans... but at a festival the whole day tend to be about metallica, and even if god himself turned up fans would not move.... Its a starnge thing the power of metallica.. radiohead also have a similar sort of power.... but this rocks... so more fool them..
