  • @roachkiller999 I'm pretty sure the point of the punch before the follow up kick is for diversion purposes. The power goes to the kick to cause damage while the opponent is distracted by the punch.

  • These videos on youtube are the only ones i've seen so far , except som thai videos that have really great excercises and are being shown to us so that we can learn, and its rehab training for proffessional fighters, so they know what they are doing!

    The knee has the hardest bone in the human body, femur which starts from the hip and ends at the knee. If you land a hit in the knee area its most unlikely that its going to cause any kind of bone damage. Thats why you always aim for the thigh of the opponent in Muay Thai.

    if she pointed her toes and her foot caught the guy at the wrong angle, it would really damage her foot.

    loosening up her foot would allow her to contact the oppenents body at the same "wrong angle" but cause her no damage and perhaps hit more then the original target. try it, try a roundhouse kick like that at a weird angle, like to the point where it hits ure instep and not ure shin.

  • mm, if you wanna train speed, then u can for instance, while doing push-ups, you should go slow down, then on ur way up u should explode.

    that way u train ur hand-speed. this type of training is much better than te regular push-ups witch u usuallay just go up and down in the same speed.

    and, for the legs. if you train with weights, you could use kneebends (sry, dont know what it is in eng), for instance do 3x3 reps. that way you will become more explosive, and therefor faster.

    they are the muscles on the back of your upper/lower legs.

    just stand on 1 foot put the other on a high platform and try to reach for your toes

    hold for 1 minute and ull feel like you can kick the heavans,
