@gamester21torrent Read his book. He had a little bit of a problem with what we'll call "candy" here, and that's why he couldn't afford guitars; he even begged Tommy Thayer from kiss to give him a couple of Dean Guitars for free.

The reason why he used that Les Paul copy, however, was that he couldn't find a right sound on Appetite for Destruction; the engineer picked that hand made copy up and They tried it - that was what Slash was looking for, spot on.
