I have been proposing on radio interviews nationwide that we not buy a single factory new car until they satisfy us with electric vehicles. Utilize the confusion they have created around fuel to assist us in our wait for the EV. Almost all major wars have been over energy. The consequences (cost) are more than what you pay at the pump. The war in Iraq is only a projection of the class war on our own soil.

You really can not get out there and fight the gas prices, but you sure can control the way you spend your money, again, get a scooter, bike or motor cycle and start saving your money and have fun while you are doing it. I am having a ball. A couple of my frineds have now got scooters. I am telling you, it's the way to go.

DO AS I DID...BUY A SCOOTER, GAS OR ELECTRIC. My scooter is ran buy gas and I get 100 miles on one gallon. My SUV sits in the yard for pleasure trips or to bring large items from the store. Every one should get a scooter, or moped, motor cycle, tricycle, bicycle; anything that will get you around. I ride my scooter to work everyday and I am not a young person and I am female and saving money. I spend less than people who ride the bus and I have peace and I have fun. I ride off of pennies.

Just a tip:

explain that the Saudis JUST SAID we're NOT running out of oil, and that our government is lying. It doesn't have to do with supply and demand, it has to do with the American Dollars value decreases (in other words increasing in circulation, since it's worth doesn't come out of the gold it ISN'T backed by.). Ever wonder how we pay people to make our money? With debt by the way. We enslave ourselves.

But yea, that's why break/milk/etc is more expensive, too. Mention that.

This guy has guts! He's just saying what everyone wants to say. People, we have to do something about these gas prices, or better yet our Government needs to do something about it. Where I live and work it's up to four bucks a gallon. This is Bullshit! It's gotten to the point where we have to work to pay for the gas to get to work, while sacrificing putting food our our tables. It's only going to go higher. Could you imagine gas going up as high as five bucks a gallon? Just think about it.

$5 bucks? Congress is voting to blockade Iran. That is an outright act of war. That will eliminate 40% of the worlds oil supply. You're looking at $15 a gallon soon. Don't bother to call or writing them, they'll be on vacation the next 5 weeks.

Sigh, I hate when people say "Who Killed the Electric car?" The consumer did, not some major auto manufacturer. The electric car has been around longer then the combustion engine. Nobody wanted the electric car at the beginning of the 20th century and nobody wanted them at the end, don't blame GM on the EV1. Granted, now they're in much higher demand, but in the past the demand was too low for any automaker to make a profit on them.
