I hear you. The entire creative industry is plagued with this problem. Just look at CL. Most of the work offered shamelessly states that "this is not a paid position, but you will be credited for your work" .... as if credit, not compensation, is the objective.

CL is freaking heaven for people who want things for free, because unfortunately other stupid designers buy this crap and do work for free... sad, very sad...
I feel that if you participate in this 'bidding' scenario your essentially advertising yourself as being cheap and without integrity.
