I had my first go with oils the other day too, but coz of my project at Uni I went straight in for the portrait!

I was happy with the result I got and I'm very impressed by your painting! :D

as you become (or if) you become more

involved with all the stages of modernism

(picasso period, then your pollack period

etc) you will find it to be just as exacting

as portraiture. expecially when you start

your kingofdefford period. love ya.

I like abstract - objects moving through the darkness is a popular idea - blue spectrum shift makes you think it is moving towards the observer - the little disks make you think there are unseen forces at work holding them in orbit - three panels make you feel like you are looking out of a window - seems like a fun project :)(:
