  • best of MUSE. <3

  • Donť copy Radiohead! :D

  • @fgsibre so what if muse copied radiohead im sure radiohead copied someone else and original ideas are pretty hard to come by anyway since the world has a bunch of people who are all having ideas. odds are someone else thought of them.

  • Awesome music , awesome band , awesome movie and still there are 50 dislikes , if this isn't perfect, then we have a problem people

  • what?matt doesnt like radiohead? then i dont like muse..gosh that hurts!

  • como se llama esa pelicula ??

  • = RADIOHEAD !!

  • haha this sounds so 90's

  • Radiohead and Muse two the best alternative rock bands on Mother Earth :D

  • Who the hell is "Radiohead"?

  • @ChrisDomato are a alternative rock band like ''muse''

  • Damn Coma wasn't even on the album and it has almost a million views, fuck yeah! P.S. This song was made in 1997, so It's pretty rare to get!

  • @Acceptable76 i love this song but i was born in1998 .so there isn´t a chance for me that it comes in the radio (sorry for my bad english, i live in german)

  • @Musefan98 Your English is fine :) This song was never on the album; thus never heard on radio's, T.V.'s, or any of that.

  • @Acceptable76 thanks ,

  • @Acceptable76 This song is a b-side of the Cave maxi single, so it WAS kind of easy to get... now old singles from showbiz and origin of symmetry are rare and expensive... (just checked the "second-hand buying" sites, and i'm happy to know i own a 600$ Muse collection xD (I spent like 100$ for all maybe 10 years ago ^^)

  • @Whitraff I see; but seeing Cave was also written in 1997 still makes it pretty old :P. And nice by the way! :)

  • wooow

  • I love Mathew Bellaby more than talent loves him...if that's possible!!

  • 49 people are in coma

  • this sounds just like Radiohead.....

  • Thom Yorke? hehe. May Radiohead and Muse keep producing good music for us :)

  • Which album contains this song? I ve checked out every studio album and there are a few songs that appear to be nowhere in the tracklist. Where are they from?

  • @venanciomiki B-sides, they have about 20 B-sides. I don't know exactly... But their B-sides are so good, you should listen ;D

  • @venanciomiki It's not from a studio album. It was from Muse's EP.

  • Museeee!!!!!!

  • MUSic yeah , fuck$%$&% video

  • I absolutely LOVE this movie. Stay Alive kicked all ass.

  • 2:11 FOR YOOOOU STEEELY DAN!

    I didn't know Muse dug jazz-fusion.

  • what is the name of the actor in the video..? :3

    3:10

  • Comment removed

  • love the video..and the song's amazing,i'm addicted to it x)

Think I have broken the reapet button :c

  • muse you are the best ! fuck the rest

  • Is this video official? :3

  • its really influenced from radiohead really much! muse and radiohead are awesome!

  • @taofreestyle yeah!! :D

  • Muse were influenced by Deftones not raidiohed, go read some books people.

  • stay alive was on itv a few nights ago. real bad film, seriously this video is better than the whole film ever could be. and this video has muse.

  • I LOVE MATTHEW BELLAMY MORE THAN LIFE ITSELF!!!!!!

  • @MechTechMaster15 ME TOO!!!!!!

  • I find this hard to marsturbate to

  • I wonder what people will think when they find out that Matt Bellamy doesn't really like Radiohead....

  • @Ashneaska Well, i guess the Radiohead fans will go into denail and hardcore Muse fans will stand triumphantly, safe in the knowledge that no longer will Muse be accused of sounding like them again, even though they clearly don't sound anywhere near the same. No-one and nothing sounds like Muse.

  • @Ashneaska so im on the same opinion as bellamy...

doesnt like radiohead that much as well

  • @musicFL94 Oh I love Radiohead! :D But no one on earth can come remotely close to matching Muse!

  • @Ashneaska no problem, Muse makes good music, Radiohead makes good music they don't have to like each others music...... as long they respect the other artist.! We can like both !

  • @TheNiklos1976 I couldn't agree more! I think they're both fantastic, however, being a musician, I must say that no other band comes close to matching Muse, at least in regards to musical technicality. And my opinion states Muse as the greatest band to ever walk the earth xD Queen being more influential (right now) and a close second.

  • @Ashneaska I think there a some bands who are somewhat better than Muse in technic (Dreamtheater comes in mind) but not in Power but than again Bellamy is- Greatest Band i would say Pink Floyd (old style) and Queen.....

  • @TheNiklos1976 I agree to some extent, but there are some songs that Muse has written that, the theory is so complex, it's hard to grasp even for a well studied and practiced multi instrumentalist of ten years like myself. Screenager, Exogenesis, Butterflies and Hurricanes, Megalomania, Space Dementia, and other similar songs are what I'm talking about. I love all three of those bands though:) I do know that Queen is more influential because they've had more time though. They deserve it too!

  • @Ashneaska before you continually make a fool of yourself, if you were a musician you would realise the Beatles are a bit more than the cliche best band ever. No-one influentially and musically will come close, ever. Now be quiet.

  • @Ashneaska The only possible alternative is that he's god.. I acknowledged this a long time ago

  • @Ashneaska well the intro kinda reminds me of some Radiohead songs.

  • @Ashneaska WHAT THE FUCK ?!

  • @Ashneaska

    From Rock Sound Magazine 1999:

Matt Bellamy: "He (John Leckie) has produced so many good bands! "The Bends" Radiohead is to me the best album of the decade."

Matt Bellamy: "I think the two most important albums of the decade are Nevermind by Nirvana and The Bends Radiohead. I also think that any group that takes the music seriously needs to know these two groups. Be compared to Radiohead is still quite flattering."

  • @fuelice Well yes, all three members of Muse respect Radiohead, Dom and Chris both really like them, Matt doesn't, but he still respects them. Just, being a classically trained musician, I can tell you that Muse's music is far more complex and engaging. I love both bands though, but Muse is number Uno!

  • @Ashneaska ahaa, i like what you did there.

  • WHAT THE MOVIE IS IT??????????

  • @1999korn 'Stay Alive' from 2006. imdb it

  • Who says this song sounds like Radiohead? It's doesn't sound like Radiohead in any way, accept for the voice, but that is fucking coincidence, just like in ALL Muse songs..

  • muse is probably my favorite band of all times, i hardly no anything of radiohead, and the songs i heard i didn't really like, so i see no resemblance there, dunno

  • i love you much esta cansion

    ablo español ingles^^

  • No, I don't buy it, its not freaking Muse!

  • @foubertb you're right. It's Good Muse

  • KIS MY

  • I can't believe this is 'just' a B-side.

  • Why cant we all just shut the fuck up, and enjoy Muse.

  • @PeaceEpices I love both bands and the two are very talented. But I agree with @Davebg2, their first album is the only one which sounds a bit like Radiohead. And if you listen carefully all Muse's albums, you can hear that Muse inspiration is more Rage Against The Machine than Radiohead.

We can also say that Radiohead copied Pink Floyd. But I think that it's not because you're a "new" band that you cannot have inspirations. That's totally stupid.

And today, Muse is far away from Radiohead.

  • Is it just me or is the video way better then the audio?

  • Sorry the title this film move?

  • I love this guitar riff!

  • it sounds like radiohead

  • @proustef both Muse and RadioHead

  • at 2:40 did he stop two charging horses with a flower?

  • /watch?v=iPOGw7uXAsQ

    best Bellamy interview ever

  • 861 thousand views?!?!?!? Holy FUCK. This song wasn't even released! By far the most famous oldies song.

  • @Acceptable76 By muse ^^

  • @Acceptable76 oldies song? what do you mean?

  • @audveltadmuna oldies for Muse.. this was recorded in 1997

  • I don't understand this video... But i think i like it.

  • @MuseOfMetal666 The video us made up of clips from a Horror film called "Stay Alive" [:

  • @shumalajaka Thanks.

  • what the....from which album is this this song?!!!!!it's the first time i hear it!!!

  • @aniretakDB007 it's a so called "b-side". It's a song that was never released on an album for reasons that I don't know

  • @audveltadmuna B-sides are released on singles so that fans with the album continue to buy the single even though they already have the "A-Side". Unfortunately, bands cannot put every song they write on their albums, so they put their more experimental songs, or at least songs that have a different style, on the singles. Also, it's pretty cool for fans to find hidden gems like this.

  • Why this song no is in Muse chanel???

  • Watching him swing a crowbar from a first person perspective made me wonder if he'd ever played half-life.

  • this is a movie?

  • I know that movie, but this is the first time i hear this music :(

  • Did he get lost at 2:01? XD

  • great movie and great band and great song

  • Actually this song was Muse first official song :)

  • @ArnottChris no, cave was. this was from a japanese only EP they released before Origin ;)

  • @andrico1234 nah he could be right this was on there first ever EP along with cave and two others it was called 'MUSE'

  • @Seanbenson19 nope the first ever demo was their 'this is a muse demo' which had 4 never rereleased track.

  • @andrico1234 Oh really fair enough this was definatly released on that Muse cd before showbiz im sure though

  • Come on! we know muse is fucking awsome!

all of us are influenced for somebody else... and they're human so yeah.

their music is so damn perfect! we sholud be at least glad they're influenced for such a good band.

    Muse Rocks!

  • @laurabellamy1 I agree, but Muse aren't human. THEY'RE GODS. ;)

  • @kingbowser99 My bad.. and you're tottaly right.. They're Gods!!!! *-*

  • @kingbowser99 ok Dom and Chris are Gods, but Matt....He is Devil

  • @laurabellamy1 *Good. Nothing is perfect.

  • Who gives a shit who influenced muse? theyr fucking awsome they werent influenced by anyone they got sound and made it better.

  • Mozart influenced Beethoven . the Beatles influenced Oasis. Radiohead influenced muse. who gives a shit, muse rules

  • @PeaceEpieces dude Radiohead didn't influence Muse do your research before you run your mouth

THEY ARE BOTH INFLUENCED BY THE SAME BANDS CONGRATULATIONS YOU JUST LEARNED BASIC MATH

  • @incineradma okay captard, go troll somewhere else. ive been a die hard muse fan since the beginning. and i dont need you whining because your delicate sensitivity was hurt because your possessive over a band.

  • @PeaceEpieces you have issues and clearly didn't read my comment

  • @incineradma your comment made no sense. "INFLUENCED BY THE SAME BANDS CONGRATULATIONS YOU JUST LEARNED BASIC MATH" the "fact" you stated in the first half of the sentence.. has absolutely no relation to arithmetic whatsoever. so congratulations your a moron. a captard is a person who uses caps lock to sound like they are right about something. ie. YOU CANT SPELL INCINERARMA WITHOUT DRAMA.

  • @PeaceEpieces it does too.

radiohead and muse sound alike because they both sound like Jeff Buckley.

  • @incineradma hahahahaha thats so foolish. oh yeah they sound a like cuz this one artist sounds like both of them. backwater logic.

  • @PeaceEpieces They are both influenced by Buckley.

If Muse is your favorite band then why are you calling them liars? They've stated that they never listened to Radiohead and that they have the same influences.

  • @incineradma hey i love my girlfriend but shes a liar. good god. i love muse but they do infringe. find me the inerview where both bands attest to being influenced by Buckley.

  • @PeaceEpieces find you one...go find it yourself. What do I look like a friggin' slave?

  • @incineradma dont make a statement like that without the willingness to back it up.

  • @PeaceEpieces Funny that's EXACTLY what I told you in my original comment.

  • @PeaceEpieces listen to glorious.. then racer ex-technical difficulties. is that buckley too? your in denial.

  • @PeaceEpieces You have no reason to think they are influenced by Radiohead. You are delusional. Two bands that sound alike and were produced in the same timeframe in all rationality had the same influence -- not eachother. That's just logic.

  • @incineradma produced in the same time frame? radiohead pablo honey - 1993. MUSE showbiz -1999. exactly. YOU need to do research, everything you said has been wrong. im done arguing you dont even know what your talking about.

  • @PeaceEpieces I already knew that. That IS the same time frame. Consider how long humanity has been around. Producing music 100% of that. Do you really think that in 6 years time adults who are capable of a massive range of musical genious came up with it by listening to Radiohead and trying to duplicate the sound? Get out of here.

  • @incineradma please just piss off. consider how long humanity has been around producing music 100% of that? thats the most retarded thing ive ever heard, go away.

  • @PeaceEpieces Showbiz is the ONLY album Muse has made that sound like Radiohead, so your argument is invalid. You radiohead fanboys keep using the same argument, that muse sounds like radiohead, but they dont, they DID, there's a difference, and maybe you should just give up arguing whos best because thom yorke is great and matthew bellamy is great but bellamy is far more musically talented than thom yorke, and they're not even similar bands. Just give up.

  • @Davebg2 woah there big fella. im much more fond of muse then radiohead. so your argument is the one thats invalid

  • @PeaceEpieces

    You still got SERVED.

  • @Davebg2 No not at all. i just dont care to start yet another argument about it.

  • @PeaceEpieces

So you mean that showbiz is not the only album that sounds like radiohead?

  • @PeaceEpieces and what is a captard seriously

  • @incineradma FYI i have MUSE tattoo'd on my forarm, and a MUSE ablum collage on my back. i say that because they are my favorite band. but to deny the heavy radiohead influence in their music is pure stupidity. so dont talk to me about doing "research"

  • Comment removed

  • YOU'RE such a mess and I don't care simply because I can't wake up and find it in my, I'm in a coma... you will not find it in me

  • @PeaceEpieces sorry man but Beehtoven is completely different then Mozat. If you listen to them you will see that Beethoven has nothing to do with Mozart = )))

  • @iraklikorkia sorry but they do.. read up on it.

  • @PeaceEpieces Agreed, everyone must be inspired before they can become so much more. Be a Lover not a Hater ^___^

  • @PeaceEpieces muse influinced everyone with a taste in music

  • @PeaceEpieces i always thought Queen influenced muse Owh well :L xx

  • @TheMusesongs Queen??!? hahahhaha omg queen xD

  • @iamJosefine Weell have you seen some of muses interveiws ovb not because they say in quite a few, that songs like untied states had a queen feel to it, and that they listened to queen alot when they first started out, ended bender...

  • @TheMusesongs I did'nt know,I have only been a fan for 2 years :o

Haha it's just that queen does not sound like Muse at all and I don't see them as a real rockband :P

  • 3:15 its an alienware! Jealous!

  • What year is this song from?

  • Muse puts me in a coma...

  • its actually a 'Dis I Like' button

  • radiohead influenced

  • @DimitrisLost

    you think?

  • @DimitrisLost Well, this song definitely is very influenced by Radiohead. This was back in the stage where they were still trying to find their sound (1996 - 1998 IIRC), and back in those days and the days of Showbiz their stuff sounded quite a bit like Radiohead's music although with a lot more fire, drive, and flair.

However, Muse is nowhere near a carbon copy of Radiohead. Never has. I'm a huge fan of both bands, but Muse will forever be my favorite.
