Unfortunately, bands cannot put every song they write on their albums, so they put their more experimental songs, or at least songs that have a different style, on the singles. This was back in the stage where they were still trying to find their sound (1996 - 1998 IIRC), and back in those days and the days of Showbiz their stuff sounded quite a bit like Radiohead's music although with a lot more fire, drive, and flair.

You radiohead fanboys keep using the same argument, that muse sounds like radiohead, but they dont, they DID, there's a difference, and maybe you should just give up arguing whos best because thom yorke is great and matthew bellamy is great but bellamy is far more musically talented than thom yorke, and they're not even similar bands. @DimitrisLost Well, this song definitely is very influenced by Radiohead. This was back in the stage where they were still trying to find their sound (1996 - 1998 IIRC), and back in those days and the days of Showbiz their stuff sounded quite a bit like Radiohead's music although with a lot more fire, drive, and flair.
However, Muse is nowhere near a carbon copy of Radiohead. Never has. I'm a huge fan of both bands, but Muse will forever be my favorite.
