I'm thinking of buying an SA2020fm. Hows the sustain and does the neck have a gloss finish or is it nice and smooth?

hey thanks for the comment! The SA2020 is definately a great guitar. Unfortunately I had mine stolen a few months ago. Quite devastating and I haven't been able to find a new one. The sustain is great because of the set neck construction. Its got a matte finish at the back, no gloss, so its super smooth and fast. I really was impressed with that guitar! Hopefully you enjoy yours! and hopefully i find a new one on ebay sometime!

If you have the Train of Thought tab book then your set though. Have you ever heard of/do you have guitar pro? because its a great program if you like learning with tab

Hey bro, that's amazing, i just have a few questions because i'm gonna have a shot at learning this (it's way above my ability but i might as well push myself). Do you alternate pick that whole run? if so, do you start on the up or downstroke? (does that matter?)

The first run on the way down from the top fret in the solo.

o ok, yes the whole run is alternate picked. I start it on a downstroke. this is because later in the solo, the arpeggios require that i be on the follow through of an upstroke to play. This insures the rhythm right.
