yeah i go to walmart but its in the Usa so yeah im like i dont like uniforms because its kinda werid for other kids and awesome i need to get the index cards and some more uniforms. so yeah lol
To be honest I would suggest you wait to buy some more of the specific items until your children actually GO to school for the first week or so. A lot of times the stores or schools provide lists for supplies that are never used. I usually got the necessities like paper, pens, pencils, binders, etc. and left the more specific stuff like graph paper, etc for when we actually NEEDED it in class. Don't waste money.
I wish we had clearence sales where I live. Staples doesn't have any good clearence items ever, even after school shopping. So if I see the five star flex binder for $10, I will buy it for that price. It will never be lower than that. I live in Canada so we don't have a target and Wal Mart is too far. They have the same sales as last year for a lot, if not all, the same items as last year. But I do buy used textbooks when I can.Students can even try discount textbook stores if they can't find used
@kassummi tip 7 is basically if you have a coupon for 10% off at Lowe's but you are not a Lowe's fan you prefer Home Depot. Home Depot will take that 10% off your order IF you have the lowes coupon in hand when you get to the register.
Why pay $30 for a brand new Jansport backpack, when you can find a "like new" Jansport backpack at the thrift store for $3.00!!! That's what I did. I've had it for a year and a half now.
buying used textbooks & renting them is always awesome but doesnt always work...one of my textbooks last semester was $144 to buy it new or $122 to rent it. sometimes theres honestly just no way to get around it :-/
I just love ya! Living in the boonies where I live, I'm able to save a lot of money and do it in one trip, thanks to all of your tips and coupons I find on you site!
@Swim4ever99 good deal but there's no room for gym clothes and hardly any room for those huge text books and eventualy those straps WILL my kid had his ll bean for 3 years still going strong worth the money 2 more years gaurenteed by company does jansport give a 5 yr gaurentee?
A tip on buying textbooks and I do this all the time since I'm in college is to buy the previous version they have practically the same material only the newer versions have newer better pictures and new introduction by the author what I do is I check out the contents of the version I'm suppose to buy and compare to an older version by the same author most websites like amazon and barnes and noble have previews of the contents ive seriously saved a ton money doing this
any tips for saving money on textbooks? my high school requires that i buy my own books, and they can get quite expensive! one year i spent 800 dollars! yikes!
@ilikecheese1786 Check to see if your school will allow you to use a digital version (when available) you basically rent the use of the digital version for how ever many months, and then you lose access. Great way to save money.
ll bean for backs a little pricey comes with a five year warranty kids can personalize can add reflective strip for when it gets dark early (my personal fave)
