The Routon should have lots of success in the future! It blurs the line between style, technology, performance, and more- in a great and affordable package.
Obviously it's not a Volkswagen, just a Chrysler with a VW badge on it, why didn't VW at least use the same engines as the SUV that shares the same platform with like three other cars?
I don't know what platforms VW shares with Chrysler other than this van.
If you're referring to the Touareg SUV that shares platforms with the Cayenne and Q7, its a longitudnal engine. The van is transverse. besides, why the hell spend the R&D dollars to put an expensive VW engien in it when the Chrysler one works just fine?
Honestly, how many complaints from Chrysler van owners do you hear about the engines?
In case no one noticed, this van isn't going to be marketed at your typical "VW owner." Teh purpose of this van is to get folks in the door, folks who never considered VW before because of their lack of a 7seater.
People shopping for minivans care more about ease of use and cup-holder count than if the engine has SOHC or DOHC. If people buying these things gave two craps about it, they wouldn't be buying a van int he first place.
why is it parked in the middle of the field?

A 4.0L V6, expensive interior, extraordinary design, and a price tag of $25,000 means certain success!
