  • ive been dealing with this for about 2 years, im 20 years old now, the pain does go away after a few minutes but always comes back at the next trigger. it seems im going longer and longer into remission (ever so slightly, maybe a month or 2 instead of a few weeks). i noticed that its doesnt happen as frequent after cutting out straight candy and soda. i thought that i could go back to having that stuff because its not a tooth problem and now the pain is back. last remission 2 1/2 months.

  • could anyone send me more detailed instructions on how to do the excersises described here. My wife is going thru terrible pain and I would appreciate if anyone would help us with this. Thank you.

  • I guess she´s got 2 things: Stress fact incresed while we sleep That chin possition helps to reduce irritation of the nerv. Food and drinks like caffeine sugar chilli stimulates nervs and afects also in vascularity there´s a vase so close to the nerv that could stimulate it. thats what I know I have 7 years with TN I used all drugs even lidocaine spray I had 6 "block" neuromuscular interventions And Lyrica of pfizer helped them I´ll experiment this new technique. Tnx.
  • @laussive22 i hope you are ok by now,,i have GLOSSOPHARYNGEAL NEURALGIA wich is a rare condition with the same symptoms you have in another areas,i´m with OXCARBAZEPINE 1500MG VENLAFAXINE 225 MG AND PREGABALINE 375 MG,L-ACETYLCARNITINE 1500 MG did you experiment with this technique like you said in your post, results ?

  • I can't tell you you how true this video is. I realized the same thing back in the '80's after every doctor/dentist failed me. The pain is indescribable, the first time I got it I started writing out my will thinking I was having a brain heamorrhage. For seven years I was mad with pain 'til I realized that bad neck posture during sleep was the villain. I started exercising by holding a pencil under my chin and stretching my neck up and over it. Always sleep with neck stretched long, chin down.

  • @kaferere Thank you for the information!! The pain is like shocks of electricity and I'm really scared as I know it only gets worse with time. Can you advise anything further?

    Bless you.

  • @ImAnnaChristine Sorry to hear you're still suffering, I'm convinced this thing is caused by two things, poor neck posture during sleep, and mouth breathing. Do a search on "Buteyko method", you won't believe the things you'll learn about sleep and breathing. Meantime try your best to sleep on your side, arrange the pillows so your head can't fall backwards, this will ensure your jaw can't drop open. DO NOT sleep with a window open! Hyperventilation during sleep is the enemy. It WILL go away! X

  • @kaferere Is this something you have suffered with? I have had this (TN) for over a year and a half now and have tried everything under the sun! Next step is an MVD.

  • @JeSusfReAkN Yes, I had it for over 7 years and no painkiller would even touch it, not even co-proximol. I could only sit and rock in a corner like a lunatic when I had an attack. Sleeping position and strict attention to breathing (Buteyko technique) changed everything. Mouth breathing during sleep is the key, put a stop to that with Buteyko and a strict sleeping position and the condition disappears, at least it did for me. I hope it can work for you, it's such an evil pain. Hope you get well

  • The sound on this was awful and I couldn't hear much of what was said
