I know one thing!!! I am a real estate agent and in a tract of 200 homes every home owner has a problem with their GE home appliance. Not one person is happy and GE's customer service is the worst. What ever you do, Don't buy their home appliances. You will be really really sorry.

its a realtime rendered 3d environment (like video games) that uses the paper as its reference point then it overlays the environment over the video which is why his hand can't actually go through it.

that is what augmented reality means. imagine if you didn't need the paper to do it though, if a computer could overlay reality with cg images to enhance the information you get from your eyes, it starts with a piece of paper and a webcam.
