I can't understand what is "the drummer" doing. There's a lot of percussion sounds like beats, cymbals and fills which he is not playing. What is he playing then?? o_O
I love Grendel, but this live set is not very convincing.

@nisroch Thanks for answering. I think you could do a lot more than just playing Right - Left - Right - Left - Right - Left... to make the performance more elaborated and look cooler . (See Joe Letz or Michael Schack). That's just my opinion. :)
Grendel is great! I would love to see them live one time especially at Kinetik! Does anyone know if Kinetik is all ages? Ive been trying to find out but the site doesnt say.
It was my second time seeing Grendel Live. The first time was at COMA 3 or 4 in Montreal. They had sound problems at that time as well (much worse than an unplugged wire), but I think that they were using the vocal synths at that time.

It was my first time watching Grendel live, did VLRK use vocal synths in his other performances?
I agree about Kinetik its awesome , I might ditch my plans to go to WGTagain on '10 and go to Kinetik instead

I have to agree. Without the vocal synths, it just doesn't sound the same.

Yes, Marco has been helping with live performances this year with VLRK.
Also, I enjoyed the clean vocals.
There are too many Aggrotech groups out there that use vocal fx. Besides Industrial has always been influenced by the Punk scene.
