I think this might actually be true... After looking into it, I don't think I've ever seen an example where DP sampled 2 different songs to make one.. And because Break down for love doesn't have any organ or strings in it, I think they were done in house... But that does also open up other possibilities. That would also mean that Face to Face is ENTIRELY made of Evil Woman, and Fresh is not Billy Joel (because he's already been sampled)... Interesting...

There are more than two samples in a lot of DP tracks, like Da Funk and Too Long.

Also in an interview with Todd Edwards he says they both brought 50 samples to the table for Face To Face. Who knows how many they ended up using though.

Yeah, but those were mainly beat samples... Da Funk's samples are 1. the beat, and 2. the drum fill. I'm thinking more main melody samples, but, the Todd Edwards interview is a little worrying... I may have a tough time looking for those..

I heard the sample for Be a Friend by Todd Edwards on the Weather Channel's Local on the 8's music. I was stunned, and I can't for the life of my figure out the name of the original. It was undoubtedly the sample though.

As far as everyone has found every sample of daft punk's song there is one that is really tricky to find that sounds like daft punk has sampled it & it is used for their "Teachers"
