It may be how TV "show" sometimes misleads facts.
Recently I see on internet, ["White-nized Jewish" especiallly from Israel today is different from the very Jewish people].
Personally there're some Jewish-somebody (-American, -Hungarian) in Japan today.

@qq1522361i これは学校で習う定説ですね。しかし、カタカナが漢字起源はないと思いますね。中国語のアルファベットはア、イ、ウからは始まらず、日本にはもとより、イロハ～の順番もありました。漢字が入ってくる前に日本人が話していた大和言葉（今でいうところの訓読み）や文字が無かったとは考えにくいのです。交易の為にカタカナと似た文字を逆に漢や唐、隋の国が作った可能性も考えられます。ヘブライ文字をwikiで検索してみると良いと思います。文字の形も音もカタカナと似ているものが多くあるので面白いですよ。これが日ユ同祖が根強くある理由だと思います。さらに言えば、古代の中国には様々な民族が国を形成しており、様々な言葉が話されていた、とあるので、存在していたのは何も漢語だけではなかったと思いますね。始皇帝の家系は中東からの移民説もあって碧眼のものもいたという記述もあります。とは言え、まだまだ検証の余地はありますね。

@NeoTranshuman Geographically, and among those who know (as well as cartographers and geographers), everything from Haifa to Hokkaido is Asia. You seem to be associating being Asian with looking a certain way (i.e., Mongoloid). That's patently false. The reason you think these countries aren't part of Asia is because you live in the U.S, and here, they associate "Asianness" with epicanthic folds and other Mongoloid attributes, but of course, this perception is totally different abroad.

@NeoTranshuman The Middle-East is not a continent; it's a multilingual, multi-ethnic region, that is encompassed by the CONTINENTS of ASIA and AFRICA. Secondly, Pakistan is geographically a part of South Asia, and Afghanistan is a part of Central Asia. These are recognized designations for the various regions of Asia. Just because I recognize the existence of a part does not mean I negate the existence of the whole. Finally, the Middle East is also often referred to as Southwest Asia.

@Dzongka One more thing: If I recognize the existence of Anhui Province of China, does that mean I don't recognize the existence of the PRC? Obviously not. Your argument that the Middle East is somehow separate from the Asian continent is about as fallacious as it gets. It's a part and parcel of it, just like East Asia (China, Japan, Korea), and South Asia (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan et al.). I do recognize the Middle East; it's just a part of Asia and Africa.
