At 2:00 a slapshot in motion exercise is explained and although a player can get a very hard fast slapshot away the fact that the player does the stick backward motion allows the goalie time to adjust to the shot. When skating with the puck a snapshot or wristshot is far better. However there is some merit to taking a slapshot while skating if the goalie is screened and on the power play.

A good slapshot while skating is possible if you want me to explain it will cost you money.

Hockey in north dakota going against REAL hockey players from canada and minnesota. they look like they r just using their arms. also ITS CALLED FREE TIME. this is what i do when theres no hockey. awkward doesnt mean they r wobbly. all the do is move there arms and one foot back and swing. they arnt getting any power into the shot.
