It is a common folly for beginners to try and grasp zen (or pretend to) by writing down beautiful and eloquent statements or to copy the writing styles of other zen masters. This useless for the most part. It is much better to practice zen while studying with a good teacher. Use the words in this video as inspiration to practice, dont just keep focusing on words.
Every word can be spoken and yet enlightenment cannot be comprehended. Every sound can be made and yet enlightenment cannot be heard. Stillness of mind through the action of inaction, awareness is all that exists, and yet even awareness does not exist.
Therefore I slightly differ with Nagarjuna's views, but not in all cases. But I still see them as completely right in their context. However, in developmental psychology there are developmental levels that correspond to an inclusion of subject-object and integration of subject-object knowledge. Subject becomes an object of the subject of the next principle. For example, in postmodernism, meaning was a subject, but in postpostmodernism, meaninng is an object.
You can say that, but do you SEE it? Zen is not a concept. Zen is not an explanation. Zen is not an idea. Zen is not a philosophy. Zen is not postmodernism. Zen is not existentialism. Zen is not understanding the words of Dogen or Nagarjuna.
I know that any concept, philosophy, ect, is not zen. "Zen is not understanding the words of Dogen or Nagarjuna." I strongly (infinitely strongly?) agree with all of you just said.
why why why do you all/99% insist on imposing crap music in your wonderful works?

"Or are we doomed to ultimately give in to our Madhyamika nihilist thinkers"?
Is that even possible? Heh. I thought Madhyamika meant the middle way between eternalism and nihilism.

Both subject and object and not subject and object. All possibilities.

in fact,
not even what you just said! Nagarjuna is the reason for the season - he relativized even his own argument.
