  • bill "gay" ts fuck you -_-

  • I have the same problem and I spent all day long trying to solve this problem. I am upset now. Did you find how to solve this problem?.

  • Nope, I ended up formating and not needing to.

But I found a few suggestions:

Try to find a "reset"/"default" button, that would reset the options.

It should be somewhere in the control panel.

    Try it and see.

  • did u manage to solve this problem yet after all these years? i've got the same problem to T-T..

  • Nah, I have upgraded and re-installed office like 5 times so far :P

nevertheless, the last suggestion that was given to me was to delete all temp/setting files, and then restart the software. Never really tried, because I had installed 2007 and got rid of this :D you can still try.

  • how do i set my mail/emails to default

so microsoft office is my default mail and email thingy?

  • if u want to use calender go through system calender.what is the use of outlook.

  • Do you actually have an exchange server on your local network?

  • This question tells me that you didn't watch the clip, because in the clip I said, "... and what is that anyways? 'Microsoft Exchange Server!'" so obviously I don't know what an exchange server is! so how do you expect me to tell you weather i have it or not, if I don't know what it is ?

  • delete the profile on control panel -> Mail and try again.

  • Thanks, I'll try that...

  • Wait, you don't know what you are configuring? Exchange is a Microsoft Mail Server with a propetary protocol and it works mainly on office coorporate networks, it is not like yahoo, gmail, hotmail, etc. It is the domain your company handles, that mail server address should be provided by your network admin and you must be on the network (not internet) or use a VPN to get it work with Microsoft Outlook.

  • hmm...

well, I just wanted to use the calender of that software "outlook", I really don't care about the email stuff of it, I wont set it up anyways.

So if I wanted to just use the software off-line what should I do?

Note: I'm using it at home, not in a company.

  • Bah. Just configure a fake pop3 account (control panel -> remove exchange account and create a new one of type pop3) then use the calendar. Or if have a gmail account use that instead...there are many calendar softwares free and better.

  • Hmm... Thanks...

One last thing, can you name me some better calender softwares?

  • same here wat do i do 2?

  • Im not sure what the exchange server is, Try closing that and going account>new or something like that to add another email address. Make sure the info is all correct and if worse comes to worst try using Mozilla thunderbird.

  • I can't get to the software without going throught that, you saw how I pressed cancel and I got the messege. When I press ok on the messege, the software closes, I can't get to the menus or anything.

Actualy, I don't need to use the email thing, I just want to use their calender, but I can't even get to that without going through the "MIcrosoft Exchange CRAP".

    But thanks for trying :)
