  • i lisen to this over and over

  • peacefull song. he is so cool

  • This song is so incredibly beautiful!

  • Glad to this is still up, I'm sure I already have a comment here, but my brother had this album, and even at 7 years old this was one of my very favorite tracks.

  • sweet i luv this song and i luv him <3 <3

  • Isn't this the song that was written by one of the Star Trek cameramen?

  • This song makes me cry...

It's simply a beautiful song, and Nimoy has a wonderful voice.

I can't imagine we'll hear this kind of sound for a very long time, much less an honest voice like his.

  • @YaoiHellsing I agree completely. Why must Leonard Nimoy die like the rest of us?? I feel sorry for the many generations that will never hear his music :(

  • @migaud7789

The day that Mr. Nimoy dies, a part of me will die with him and I will probably cry every day for a long time.

BUT. For now, I will assume in my self-denial that he lives as long as a Vulcan. He has another 100 years or so. AND THAT IS THAT.

  • @YaoiHellsing Aye, that I shall do along with you. Not only for him being lost to us and his family/(ies), but that his talent will no longer be portrayed to the world. Not only his acting and singing, but poetry and photography. It will be a great loss for us. And this is coming from a 13-year-old girl.

  • @migaud7789

    Agreed, agreed.

There's nothing he can't do, and nothing we won't remember forever. With all due respect, whether you were a 50-year-old man or a 9-year-old girl, your opinions would have no less value and your thoughts no less stature.

  • @YaoiHellsing You, sir, have agreeable and wonderfully reasonable views. I respect you!

    And yes, very much agreed.

  • @migaud7789

    Your compliment made my day.

    *internet-hug*

  • @chilidoggingfool

Depends on what you consider terrible. His music was what entranced me to look into his acting career. Personally I think his records are outstanding regardless of the occasional misses - those happen to everyone

  • he sure made a ton of terrible albums to try to cash in one his fame

  • Wow - he could actually sing well. (And certainly better than is generally assumed; and also better than his co-star William Shatner.)

  • Thank you for uploading this song

  • @MultiMurder

You're welcome. Glad you enjoy it.

  • Thanks DHM- I was looking more for anything on the producer, the musicians- the nerdy backstory stuff.

I have the LP too. I see it was arranged/conducted and produced by a Charles R. Green.

    I'll look around the net.

  • @tuskedbeast

    Happy to help.

  • Thanks for posting this beautiful song. Anyone know anything about the production of this record?

ryoushii, I envy you having this song in your childhood!

  • @tuskedbeast

The album was released by Dot Records in 1968.

Is this the info you were looking for?

  • i need the lyrics of this song

  • @TheVioletFever

Sorry, if I had them, I would have included them in the description. Usually, an album's inner sleeve contains the lyrics, but the albums that I've posted didn't come with lyrics.

  • @TheVioletFever you could google it, it always works for me!

  • @TheVioletFever cotton candy on a summer day green grass on a hill side can they turn my love around could they bring her back to my side. she walked to him and turned my mind all the roads leading outside unkind intertwined and blind, can love help to bring her inside. thoughts in limbo silence sounds the pendulum passed on to his side confetti tear drops marsh mellow clouds might bring her to my side. If I could have my loved one by my side, I'll comfort her, I'll sing to her.

  • My brother had this album and this was one of my most favorite songs even though I was only 6 when I first heard it

So very mid 60's folk psychedelic, I can just hear a group like the Byrds or maybe Donovan singing it.
