Ok, start basic... Do some tutorials on everything like animation and modeling etc. And practice heaps. Ive been using blender for nearly 3 years, so like most things it takes time.

Nice effect! ;) Although I find that if you make 2 earths, one bigger than the other with the smaller one inside it, then you put a map on the small one and clouds on the outside one, and both moving at different times, its much more convincing :)

Yeh, the model is made of about 6 separate spheres, each with its own texture. I just didn't animate the cloud layer differently to the ground. :s Thanks for the feedback tho!
