Great piece! Lynch, in my estimation was THE hardest hitter the league's ever seen, and that's saying something. One thing I CANNOT find, however, is footage of John BURYING his brother-in-law, Chicago Bears rookie tight end John Allred. It was, I think, John's second season. The Bucs were playing at Soldier Field. Allred comes across the middle, catches the ball, and BOOM! Lights out! Allred wakes up, noseguard Brad Culpepper's over him saying, "On top of that, he's sleeping with your sister!"

Great Lynch video! I been waiting for a great John Lynch video he's my favorite safety of all time! I wish the Tampa Bay staff treated their players and coaches better ie. letting go of Lynch, Sapp and more recently Brooks at the end of their careers. @fightboy19 No.. not at all.. Chuckie turned the entire locker room against him and for an offensie "genius," his plays became damn predictable throughout his tenure in Tampa Bay..

Lynch wasn't ready to go, but Sapp and Brooks were when they got released. There's a reason nobody picked Brooks up last year.. a bunch of teams gave him a physical -- zero teams took him. Brooks is the best player the Bucs ever had, but it was his time.. BTW, it was Gruden who let Lynch/Sapp go.
