No. Any modification to a vehicle that has emergency equipment installed and is not a certified emergency vehicle is illegal. That includes lights, sirens etc. But this CVPI looks awesome.
in NJ, volunteer EMTs & firefighters are allowed by law to mount and use blue emergency lights in their personal vehicles so long as they obtain a special permit and keep it in the vehicle. This set-up, however is illegal, because headlight flashers/strobes are prohibited.
In some states they are legal as long as you don't use them to impersonate an officer or in other states they are legal as long as you keep them unhooked and only run them offroad but no matter what he is fine using them on private property offroad. I have headlight flashers, strobes, and blue red and green LED lights on my P71 but I co-own a security and police vehicle re-distribution company and my car is a display car used as an example to my customers so its somewhat less dangerous for me.
