Okay, these people do it right...the dragon's fire is what sets the lake on fire. At Disneyland, the dragon blows fire in the center of the island and then the fire starts at the sides.

Yea the DL dragon is better, but the water and visual effects still is much better @ WDW.

i only saw Malificent when i went to WDW with the Band in 2007, i don't think they had the dragon ready when we were there...but then again it was raining before the show was to begin

i went to go see the dragon something must of gone wrong cause all that came up was the dragons body and mileficent standing on top of it  -_-

I almost forgot to mention this as well. They should upgrade things like the sword.

I think that WDW needs to upgrade their dragon. It's fire breathing can stay the same though. When they do upgrade the dragon, they will still need their diffrences from the DL version.

Ha! I so cannot wait to see the brand new dragon that they'll start using in the summer. It's going to be a 40 feet tall full bodied animatronic dragon. Just the images and models alone of what the dragon will look like get me pumped.

Yeah, the old dragon is cool, but it could be more realistic, they need more time with the dragon so that people can see it more.

they should change the sparks shooting out of the sword, to mickey shooting the sparks like the ones at about 2:13. (he could just line the sword up to whatever shoots it out.

it would make it look like mickey actually got remotely close to touching the dragon.

There was a rehab, and there was someone on a forum claiming that there were some new things to the dragon including it bobbing it's head with the music (IE - A kinder gentler dragon). This video was posted to compare what the dragon looks like now to what it looked like before the short Fantasmic rehab at the beginning of 2008.
