Damn if you are looking for a billionaire in one of the poorest countries on Earth , start with the nice houses ! We could have found him in 2 days .
@MindofaJedi i don't believe there was internet and not all of Pakistan is poor. That neighborhood has many well off residents with satellite dishes, DSL, cable net, etc. Plus OBL was not a billionaire, not even close. Now if Bush had spent time and resources looking for him instead of wasting it on Iraq and other nonsense, definitely OBL might have been captured or killed long ago. It took Obama's directive to step up the hunt, and a great deal of planning in secret to carry it out successfully
@temistoclebanana Yes , it did , and if you were paying attention they actually said OBL had 5 cell phones at the residence . They also mentioned the fact he was watching American TV broadcast via satelite. Next time , if you have no idea what you are talking about , just shut up .
In 2008, CNN Reporter, Christiane Amanpour knew Osama was living in a Villa. But we are suppose to believe our Government didn't also know. These people are playing with us.
What do you expect? The government should announce every information they gathered; braodcast it on live tv so that Osama could watch from his television and continue hiding? Somethings should just be kept a secret.

They immediately dumped the body in the sea, and won't show any photos.
Hey guess what? I caught Big Foot May 1st. killed him, did the DNA test, it was him, then dumped the body at sea. I won't show any pictures out of respect to PETA.
Now you have to believe I'm a Big Foot Slayer, sweet.
@dubbleplusgood: Mate, don't waste your time arguing with the "birther turned deather" crowd! Even Al Qaida acknowleged the killing (with some more threats, of course)....but these ignorant crowd....when they see the "proof" they will say it was photoshopped or something.
@Neeparr I agree. Grassy Knollers begat Moonwalkers begat 911 Truthers begat Birthers begat Deathers yet all remained Lessers. I've said it before but NASA had some of the smartest people around work on the space program, trained men to pilot a rocketship, launched the rocket to the moon, the men walked on the moon, then returned to Earth, and someone out there said "I don't believe it, it was staged". Some people just don't get it.
@dubbleplusgood I saw the moon landings. We didn't exactly have much advanced technology back then, the space missions themselves being the pinnacles. The media wasn't much more than a box, a bunch of transistors, and some vacuum tubes. So, um, yeah, like, it happened. I never heard anyone doubt the moon landings until the past 10 years, and the ones I've since heard are either kids lost in a sea of information or raving old paranoids. Like a gun, some people should never go near the internet.
@fairalways Actually, Moonwalkers (that's what I call them anyway) have been around from the start. There was even a major Hollywood film in 1978 that used a modified premise as it's plot. It was called Capricorn One and it starred a few big name actors alongside oddly enough, O.J. Simpson. ;)
@dubbleplusgood , I saw Capricorn one. In the 70's, there were 7 TV stations (3 national, 4 local). Far fewer films came out , and most people knew of every new film. There were a few kooks in Hollywood, but the paranoid fringe had no internet rooms of crazies to reinforce their craziness. Watergate had only just given the first national confirmation of the need for healthy skepticism, and fringe paranoids had their first taste of justification for their black-and-white mistrust of authority.
@dubbleplusgood Later, as more national secrets about the US' past and covert operations became known (we actually tried to kill Castro? False flag ops actually occasionally happen? Roosevelt guarded British merchant ships in WWII? The Pentagon Papers? Iran-Contra? Heavens!) increasing media growth via cable and satellite began to overwhelm many with information, and the door to journalistic weakening was opened.
@fairalways Paranoids can't decipher social complexities, and so lack the ability to logically decipher what is "reasonable". Black-and-white thinking feels empowering, so paranoids grasp onto that which enables them to feel mastery over an increasingly fast and complex society. Some pacify themselves through religion, others through political imagination, some a combo of many things social. The internet does paranoids no real favors by enabling them.
Who the hell cares about the pictures, when the man's freaking daughter stated she saw her father SHOT when the Americans came in. His wife stated they'd been living in the house since 2005? Is everyone else in on the conspiracy as well?
What does that have to do with Osama bin Laden hiding out in Pakistan?... In a freaking military community no less? Are you saying Osama bin Laden never existed? The woman the Pakistanis are refusing to allow us to interrogate, Osama's Yemeni wife, she's an actress well right?
He was a 6 FOOT 6 Arab, dying in 2001 on a Dialysis Machine, and you're saying the most powerful Military on the Planet, with everyone looking for him, only found him in 2011? Then after a 10 YEAR Manhunt they Kill him so they can't interrogate, and immediately dump the body in the sea.
You actually fucking believe that?
I know it's not fair because most of you clowns are busy with American Idol, and maybe catch a headline here or there over the years, but God damn.
@EMPIREofPUPPETS Again, engaging on YT activates something in you. I am more interested in what you imagine it is rather than the content of the posts.
Keep ignoring the extraneous factors having to do with the raid on May 1st. Pretend like those pieces of that chopper are actually props. Oh, and also those dead people in pools of blood in the house, they're probably props as well. Also the woman claiming to be his wife, and the 12 year-old girl claiming to be his daughter are actresses.
The Pakistani President, military, and ISI are also in on it. It's all one big conspiracy going off without a hitch.
@cagnazzo82 all selfish reason's of individuals; compile as to imply conspiracy, yet that would take some unity and o humans seem capable of such a small feat: Is it the nature of the beast?
This is my last comment because you apparently have no brain and therefore cannot add anything valuable to the discussion.
Al Qaeda has officially released a statement on militant websites confirming the death of their leader, Osama Bin Laden. The statement comes from their general command and vows future attacks on U.S. soil.
Regardless of what you think, you happen to be wrong. Morons like yourself never get anywhere because the majority laugh behind your back. Al Qaeda just released a statement declaring future atrocities on the United States for killing Osama Bin Laden.
@EMPIREofPUPPETS Hey Empire, I've read many of your comments on many threads over much time. In each, you suggest that you know "the truth" while others are misled. Regardless of the content of your posts or the posts to which you respond, it's clear you imagine yourself of some importance. More well read, more informed, better able to use your skepticism and superior intellect to decipher truth that others.
@EMPIREofPUPPETS But, being that I too am a natural skeptic, I prefer to examine the emotional content of posts rather than facts, which as you consistently point out, can be made up. What I get very clearly from your posts (tell me if I'm wrong), are anger, frustration, scorn, disappointment, pride, protectiveness, fear, alarm. Just off the top. Engaging on YT activates something in you. I am more interested in what you imagine it is rather than the content of the posts.
@EMPIREofPUPPETS : Killed in Tora Bora in 2002? How did you cook that up? Sure USA could have taken him out then but instead, only 100 or so army was sent to Tora Bora and all the resources were diverted to Iraq...a country that had nothing to do with 9/11.
@DickOPlenty maybe because too many people here are assuming the government knew OBL's precise location as if it was fact. All Amanpour said was that one woman told her she suspected he was in a villa in Pakistan. That's one former intelligence employee of an unknown position from an unknown agency among thousands in the intelligence community who may have had extremely different assessments.
Big Country... Google Earth it some time and run through the villages and big cities.... I live in a city of 80K and could not tell you the names of some of my neighbors two houses down...
Maybe McCain really did know where bin Laden was. If Christiane Amanpour knew in 2008 through her 'very knowledgeable source' it's hard to believe that the CIA, the Defense Dept. and all members of Congress didn't know?
amanpour says bin laden is in a villa in pakistan & maher changes the subject to palin? omfg "follow the gossipy yentas"? they get a hell of a lot wrong & sometimes, rarely, one or two things right. this time bitch got it right. btw her husbands is hot but looks like a closet homo
Here’s PROOF that OBL was exactly what he has always been, a CIA asset. Who's also been the poster child boogey-man for the propaganda arm and excuse for the military-industrial complex/banking cartels to steadily destroy the foundation of a constitutional republic that has stood for and been a shining become of human rights, but now stands in the way of achieving global economic hegemonic shift to a very few elite.
Say it "Love Is Hate. War is Peace. Ignorance is Power. Freedom is Slavery."
We knew it all the time here in Abbottabad, everyone here knew it. And Bin Laden is alive, so alive as all of us. You will know the thruth in the next few years i think. I can't say anymore because all the internet connections here are being monitorated, but i'm in a cafe so im safe to send this message
Sounds more like he was in a prison. Shitty ass 3 story house. No phone, no internet, no tv, and never going outside!? At least people in Prison get to go outside.
@Billabongs122988 I heard he had a Sony PS3 and was stealing his neighbor's WiFi to play on the network. It's possible the recent PS3 security breaches were CIA ops hunting for Bin Laden's gamer ID and location. And yes, I realize by saying this here, that within a day or two there will be a wiKi page posted describing in detail this very conspiracy theory as fact. ;)
These were good times. Countdown to elections which meant Bush was getting the fuck out of office. Sen. Obama was so optimistic, McCain was barely holding it together, Palin was (is) batshit crazy and Amanpour was totally right!
@CrowdedWalls Ha "not finding him will keep republicans in office" well last time I checked republicans lost the election in 2008 2 1/2 years or so a democrat was in office good theory.
It gave Bush 2 terms and the republicans a larger majority in 2004 when typically/historically the party not in office would normally have won back the house and senate.
Also, those terror threats made Bush rich and kept the republicans in office..
@BornePro I'm certain Bill Maher referred to the 2008 vice-presidential debate between Sarah Palin and Joe Biden which took place the night prior to this Real Time show.
Palin: "You don't have to believe me or John McCain on that. I would believe Petraeus and that leader of al Qaeda."
She must have been tired from reading 'all the newspapers' that day. ;)
@dubbleplusgood the biggest threat to the country socialist policies bankrupting the gov. people will get over your little grandstanding episode when the debt is 14t and gas heads to 5dollars..itsthe policies that count and obamas are a failure
Proves 1 thing: Bush had this information back in 2008 but either did not act because he was an ingorant coward, or was working in coalition with Osama Bin Laden. I could support either theory.
"Bush had this information back in 2008 but either did not act because he was an ingorant coward, or was working in coalition with Osama Bin Laden."
Bush had no interest in taking out Bin Laden. If he had done so, the GOP would have lost one of their biggest tools for keeping Americans afraid and docile. Kill or capture Bin Laden, and Al Qaeda loses most of their fear factor, and Republicans have nothing to run on.
@dubbleplusgood she said 1 agent in the cia suspected he was in a villa in pakistan, so what makes you think that info even got sent up to the president? You think the CIA sends every single agent's theory or thoughts of where osama is to the president? ESPECIALLY when its just 1 agent that thinks so? The president is at the top of the government, he doesnt hear every detail about every fucking issue in the world, stop blaming them, OTHER PEOPLE WORK IN GOVERNMENT BESIDES PRESIDENTS PEOPLE!!!
No osama was not murdered a long time ago. Literaly in January he had a video he realeased of him talking about current evvents. He talked about everything happening to him at the moment. So no he hasn't been dead for years like some idiots say. I'm young and idk maybe he's even still alive but he hasn't been dead for awhile.
this shows that Osama was murdered a VERY LONG time ago. The media just wanted to let us know, you know just 3 years after the fact. This proves that all of what media tells is a crock of shit. A bunch of cleverly thought out planned lies. I now understand why so many people hate our country.
@JoVaLu88 wtf? all it shows is that one agent suspected osama's location 3 years ago. I dont remember her saying "an agent told me they found and killed osama in a villa in pakistan" your hearing things bro
@dubbleplusgood Defending Bush & Palin? PLEASE. Anything else you want to take out of context?
I'm simply pointing out the obvious — the anti-republican humor was CUTE at first, but now it's getting irritatingly redundant.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of satire and witty retorts, but petty insults on YouTube (like the one fek2000 made), FAIL to progress the political conversation our country desperately NEEDS.
So what? She said he's in a villa in Pakistan. Did she mention a specific town? No. Pakistan is a big country. A lot of the smart money was saying (at least before Sunday) that he was likely in Pakistan's tribal region.
@ObowMao666 Since he's an atheist, he doesn't believe the bedtime story about a fantasy place called hell. The funny thing about religious people is that always forget there are tons of religions all with conflicting stories of an afterlife based on zero evidence and all of them cannot be correct. And logically that suggests they are all incorrect.
@dubbleplusgood saying all the religions cant be correct doesnt logically say they are all incorrect, it just says they CAN be all incorrect or one is correct
@dubbleplusgood no one can say what happens after death because no one has ever come back from it. To reach the "logical" conclusion that all ideas of an afterlife ever proposed are incorrect is as much of a "logical" conclusion as saying that you end up in a Pink Panther cartoon after you die.
Nobody knows, there is zero evidence supporting an afterlife, no afterlife, another dimension, Hell or whatever.
@dubbleplusgood if theres 10 people and one of them killed a man, do you just conclude that all of them are innocent "logically". You logic is fucked up my friend....
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
So even she knew it back then. Our govt. is total crap! Obungles is a G-d Damned lying POS who should be taken out of office in the fastest way possible!
what a contradiction- the uploader of the video wants to bring attention to something that was supposedly hidden yet moderates the comments he/she does not like. god i love america
OMASA WAS SO COMFY BECAUSE BUSH TOLD HIM HE WOULD BE SAFE IN PAKISTAN. OBAMA WENT AGAINST BUSH AND BUSH BUDDY OSAMA AND NOW BUSH IS SOUR AN WON'T BRING HIS BILLION DOLLAR ASS TO NEWYORK WITH OBAMA! BUSH NEEDS TO BE IN PRISON FOR WORKING WITH OSAMA.
Osama had a sense of entitlement, and had multiple wives. Of course he's gonna live in a proper home in the long run, not some cave. Osama was not like the reclusive Unabomber.
Do YOU people REALLY THINK, the CIA "DID NOT KNOW" WHERE OSAMA BIN LADEN WAS HIDING ALL ALONG? PLEASE. THEY WANTED HIM ALIVE FOR A LONG TIME TO PROLONG THE WAR = MORE MONEY FOR MILITARY CORPORATIONS.
Does anyone look at the shitty compound that Osama was found and think, that is a Villa? Compound seems a reasonable description, for the large concrete build with no luxuries of any kind.
The fact is that Obama's policy of drawing down troops in Iraq and focusing more on surveillance and intelligence gathering in Pakistan and Afghanistan is what got Bin Laden. Not only did it accomplish the goal, but it also saved military assets, lives, and loads of money RepubliCONS would have spent on more military action. Bush/Cheney couldn't do it or wouldn't do it. If wasn't a continuation of the policies of Bush, but a redirection of proven failed policy. Amanpour knew, Bush didn't care.
@mordred612 -- Focusing more on surveillance & intelligence gathering in Pakistan & Afghanistan would not be posible w/o GWB. Drawing down troops did not lead us to OBL.
The helecopters who landed in OBL's compound came from Afghanistan, which would not have been there if not for war on terror and the assets already in place, silly.
@the82spartans These troops can reach and attack just about any location on Earth. Focusing on surveillance and intelligence gathering in Pakistan and Afghanistan was more possible when not focusing on Iraq. Much more intelligent to let things calm down and let your target raise his head up to look around. Remember, Bush said he wasn't concerned with Bin Laden and dissolved the division of the CIA looking for Bin Laden in 2006 and we don't know if Bush torture gave us this intel.
@mordred612 -- Key phrase was 'just about'. Fact is that the helicopters & troops were next door. So close in fact, they could fly in undetected through the mountains as they approached. This could not have been done from an aircraft carrier.
Waterboading is not torture but did give us the lead that ultimately led to OBL.
It was Bill Clinton who first gutted our worldwide network of Intel as POTUS because he was worried about intelligence gathering from sources he considered dubious.
@the82spartans Your sources (fox, rush?) are wildly incorrect. Waterboarding had nothing to do with finding OBL. And waterboarding is exactly torture, every single special forces soldier will tell you that.
@the82spartans LOL Peter King has zero credibility due to his lengthy history of sheer extremist lunacy.
My source is multiple special forces soldiers and trainers that have written books, articles, commented and testified on this issue in recent years have been crystal clear that waterboarding is torture and that it shouldn't be used by the US. I strongly recommend you watch the following youtube video to better understand what I'm saying: watch?v=WnLy6lqKOmk
@dubbleplusgood -- Peter King has zero credibility? Hmmm. I don't have reason to doubt him, but what ever. I'm not saying that water boarding is always alright to do... but water boarding is a tool in the box that bears consideration under certain circumstances. I'm fine with it, provided the subject is not abused with it.
If you consider weatherboarding as torturous, so be it.
@the82spartans waterboarding is considerer torture by nearly every country on the planet. Putting that aside, did you mean do I think Bin Laden was actually killed on Sunday night as reported? Definitely because there are far too many pieces of evidence corroborating the claim. Even your pal ;), Peter King, stated today while he personally didn't see the photos, he's heard directly from some of his colleagues that they've seen the photos of a dead Bin Laden.
@dubbleplusgood -- Yeah, and I don't care what other nations believe.
Honestly, I don't know where to begin to draw conclusions. It is wack. Does it make sense to put boots on the ground when a j-dam would work from 30,000 ft? If you need 'to be sure' who it is then why no release photo's. I'm just sayin'...
@the82spartans they needed to be sure so they killed him up close and personal. satisfying the unsatisfiable few among the public is futile. that's been proven by the events of obama's birth certificate and the moonwalk.; you realize they sent people to the moon and back with evidence and some still said 'i don't believe it'. sometimes you gotta draw the line.
@dubbleplusgood -- agreed they 'needed to kill him up close & personal' but the world's most wanted man needs to be shown dead in my opinion...today is the 'information age' and we need to see the data, especially after the several versions of what went down inside OBL's compound and the burial at sea leaves no trace.
Line or no line we Americans in my mind deserve the right to have the opportunity to view at least one single photo of OBL dead, like it or not.
@dubbleplusgood <---------- you said; 'Your sources (fox, rush?) are wildly incorrect. Waterboarding had nothing to do with finding OBL. And waterboarding is exactly torture, every singlespecial forces soldier will tell you that.'
Leon Peneta stated that the use of 'enhanced interrogation techniques' a.k.a. waterboarding, led us to OBL.
Not trying to beat a dead horse but... how does Leon rate as a source for you? It happened and he said so, twice.
I'd like to think that somehow Osama saw this video and peed himself just a wee little bit.

The man's daughter is is currently being tortured...sorry having "enhanced interrogation" from the Pakistani Military?
She would say Elvis was in there if you asked her.

You actually fucking believe that?

Keep ignoring the extraneous factors having to do with the raid on May 1st. Pretend like those pieces of that chopper are actually props. Oh, and also those dead people in pools of blood in the house, they're probably props as well. Also the woman claiming to be his wife, and the 12 year-old girl claiming to be his daughter are actresses.
The Pakistani President, military, and ISI are also in on it. It's all one big conspiracy going off without a hitch.

@MBstrada21

And logically that suggests they are all incorrect.
dubbleplusgood 10 months ago 23
@dubbleplusgood saying all the religions cant be correct doesnt logically say they are all incorrect, it just says they CAN be all incorrect or one is correct
TravasaurusRex89 10 months ago
@dubbleplusgood no one can say what happens after death because no one has ever come back from it. To reach the "logical" conclusion that all ideas of an afterlife ever proposed are incorrect is as much of a "logical" conclusion as saying that you end up in a Pink Panther cartoon after you die.

Amanpour knew, Bush didn't care.
mordred612 10 months ago
@mordred612 -- Focusing more on surveillance & intelligence gathering in Pakistan & Afghanistan would not be posible w/o GWB. Drawing down troops did not lead us to OBL.
The helecopters who landed in OBL's compound came from Afghanistan, which would not have been there if not for war on terror and the assets already in place, silly.
the82spartans 10 months ago
@the82spartans These troops can reach and attack just about any location on Earth. Focusing on surveillance and intelligence gathering in Pakistan and Afghanistan was more possible when not focusing on Iraq. Much more intelligent to let things calm down and let your target raise his head up to look around. Remember, Bush said he wasn't concerned with Bin Laden and dissolved the division of the CIA looking for Bin Laden in 2006 and we don't know if Bush torture gave us this intel.
mordred612 10 months ago
@mordred612 -- Key phrase was 'just about'. Fact is that the helicopters & troops were next door. So close in fact, they could fly in undetected through the mountains as they approached. This could not have been done from an aircraft carrier.
Waterboading is not torture but did give us the lead that ultimately led to OBL.
It was Bill Clinton who first gutted our worldwide network of Intel as POTUS because he was worried about intelligence gathering from sources he considered dubious.
the82spartans 10 months ago
@the82spartans Your sources (fox, rush?) are wildly incorrect. Waterboarding had nothing to do with finding OBL. And waterboarding is exactly torture, every single special forces soldier will tell you that.
dubbleplusgood 10 months ago
@dubbleplusgood -- Source was Peter King, Rep. NY.
Waterboarding is 'enhanced interrigation' technique. What is your source that 'every single' special forces soldier would tell me it is 'torture'?
the82spartans 10 months ago
@the82spartans LOL Peter King has zero credibility due to his lengthy history of sheer extremist lunacy.
My source is multiple special forces soldiers and trainers that have written books, articles, commented and testified on this issue in recent years have been crystal clear that waterboarding is torture and that it shouldn't be used by the US. I strongly recommend you watch the following youtube video to better understand what I'm saying: watch?v=WnLy6lqKOmk
dubbleplusgood 10 months ago
@dubbleplusgood -- Peter King has zero credibility? Hmmm. I don't have reason to doubt him, but what ever. I'm not saying that water boarding is always alright to do... but water boarding is a tool in the box that bears consideration under certain circumstances. I'm fine with it, provided the subject is not abused with it.
If you consider weatherboarding as torturous, so be it.
So, do you think Bin Laden was executed?
the82spartans 10 months ago
@the82spartans waterboarding is considerer torture by nearly every country on the planet. Putting that aside, did you mean do I think Bin Laden was actually killed on Sunday night as reported? Definitely because there are far too many pieces of evidence corroborating the claim. Even your pal ;), Peter King, stated today while he personally didn't see the photos, he's heard directly from some of his colleagues that they've seen the photos of a dead Bin Laden.
dubbleplusgood 10 months ago
@dubbleplusgood -- Yeah, and I don't care what other nations believe.
Honestly, I don't know where to begin to draw conclusions. It is wack. Does it make sense to put boots on the ground when a j-dam would work from 30,000 ft? If you need 'to be sure' who it is then why no release photo's. I'm just sayin'...
the82spartans 10 months ago
@the82spartans they needed to be sure so they killed him up close and personal. satisfying the unsatisfiable few among the public is futile. that's been proven by the events of obama's birth certificate and the moonwalk.; you realize they sent people to the moon and back with evidence and some still said 'i don't believe it'. sometimes you gotta draw the line.
dubbleplusgood 10 months ago
@dubbleplusgood -- agreed they 'needed to kill him up close & personal' but the world's most wanted man needs to be shown dead in my opinion...today is the 'information age' and we need to see the data, especially after the several versions of what went down inside OBL's compound and the burial at sea leaves no trace.
Line or no line we Americans in my mind deserve the right to have the opportunity to view at least one single photo of OBL dead, like it or not.
Again, I'm just sayin'.
the82spartans 10 months ago
@dubbleplusgood <---------- you said; 'Your sources (fox, rush?) are wildly incorrect. Waterboarding had nothing to do with finding OBL. And waterboarding is exactly torture, every singlespecial forces soldier will tell you that.'
Leon Peneta stated that the use of 'enhanced interrogation techniques' a.k.a. waterboarding, led us to OBL.
Not trying to beat a dead horse but... how does Leon rate as a source for you? It happened and he said so, twice.
