  • they feel so good sometimes

  • I have them at night, too. Oh god, WHY?

  • If your'e fortunate to have someone around you when this happens, have them pull on your big toe. My dad and I get them pretty bad and that was one of the best ways to alleviate the pain and stop the twitching. Weird I know. We couldn't stand the leg that was cramping or flex the foot so the toe thing worked. Great video though :) does look like aliens trying to escape :D

  • This happens to me all the time in the middle of the night

  • u guys are deformed how do u cramp ur self

  • I have literally just had one I've only ever had 2 it hurts like hell i was considering amputation lol I have no idea how you managed to hold a camera i was screaming & rolling around lol

  • When you get these try to walk it off.

  • have to say i get em sometimes and half the time im asleep and that shit wakes me up.. its horrible.. iguess the only good part from it is i have a slightly higher pain tolerance now..

  • i got two today owww i was in a world of 4 hells :( but its over now

  • @Xsilentps3playerX it's funny, when I got this one it I think it was because of all the walking I did immediately after drinking a beer. Last time I got really drunk someone called me the next day when I was asleep and just jumping out of bed with all that poison still in my system made both my legs feel like they were about to go. I think Charlie Horses have something to do with having toxins in your body.

  • @balinhansen prob lol

  • @balinhansen Noo, not toxins- a lack of vitamins & minerals like D, potassium, calcium -the "ums", in people prone to it esp. after exertion & in pregnancy (where we're talking PAIN "for TWO"). Its cruel specialty is coming on when you're most relaxed & unguarded. So, why the all-innocent, huckleberry moniker, "Charlie Horse"? Feels like a frickin piece of meat torn from the bone & aches a week after.

  • this sht hurts i got one yesterday when i wuz swimmin under the water couldnt move my legs but i wuz abe to go up to the surface using my arms for som reason i dont scream i just laugh

  • I hate these cramps. It's like a pain the ass. I remember my last one. It was the first time ever..I normally don't get them on my calf. I get it when I'm running tho. I remember I woke up in the middle of the night in excruciating pain. I didn't scream I was just moving around so much in my bed..

  • Got one this morning. I always get them. In my calf and foot. I always cry. And it's usually when I am laying down and I stretch! Owwwie!!!!!!

  • my friend had Charley Horse while we were having wrestling practice at my school, the irony, his name is Charley LOL

  • i usually just stand up, dance around and its gone.

  • Bananas and gatorade.(:

  • LMFAO! where is the sound? Were you screaming? I do when I get one...!

  • ah the infamous charlie horse

  • ARGH. This is horrific! I just had to watch it again. Twice! I keep getting Charlie horses. I wake up yelling holy bloody murder, my leg all bent up and a giant evil knot of evil pain in my calf/thigh, worst pain EVAR. Feels like being stabbed in the leg with a giant bloody flaming serrated unicorn horn covered in acid, in hell, while something inside (piranhas, maybe) with sharp teeth is tearing and trying to get out. And with the thrashing and screaming (which is me). I don't like it.

  • @multiplecats I've heard a number of theories about how to get rid of them. Aside from eating veggies and staying hydrated the only answer that makes sense to me is "use it or lose it" ... I was thinking about going on a 45+ mile bike ride but since I haven't used my bike in like a year if I attempted even 30 miles I could get the cramp of death halfway there. I'm gonna have to start at 20 and work my way up from there I think.

  • @balinhansen Use it or lose it, yeah. I used to backpack, but I haven't been able to in years now. But I think my current problem is calcium/potassium/h2O. However, I think I'm gonna buy an under-desk pedal exerciser and bike at work while working on reports all day. I'll look like a total dork, but I'll feel good, and work these cramps out. But right now: big bowl of cereal with milk and bananas (BEST CURE EVER).

  • how long did that las for?

  • 10 points for being able to film this WHILE having the charlie horse. i applaud you.

  • oh christ, that looks horrible. If you all get them frequently start drinking Tonic water, its got quinine which stops calf cramps from happening.

ALSO! The next time you get one PINCH THE PART OF YOUR NOSE THAT CONNECTS TO YOUR UPPER LIP IN THE MIDDLE. Its an acupressure point and will GREATLY reduce the pain, I can vouche for it. Its a motherfucking mazing.

  • OMG THESE SUCK i used to get these but havent for a while. i mainly got them when i woke up and stretches my leg then i could feel it coming on then i I WAS LIKE NOO.

Even thinking makes me feel weird.

  • thats a white ass leg

  • ive had these like four or five times before normally after skateboarding for a long time then i go sit down for a while and when i move my leg just burst into pain and my mucels trys to burst out of my skin well thats atleast what it feel like

  • Ohhh my gosh! Last night was my first one....I woke up and accidentally kicked my cat off the bed. That was the worst pain in my whole life!

  • I get these while sleeping. Wakes me right up and the first thing i'm saying is 'please please stop please ok please stop ok ok please'. It seems to help,

  • lol lucky just this night i had like 4 in a row worst pain beside breaking a arm

  • @Samuelroxmoney

You don't really feel it when you break you're arm, i broke my 3 times in 1 year

  • HOly shit dude you still got 1 mile to go.. damn that mustve suck, When I get charlie horses I cant bend my leg for a whole day. I got 2 from track, while i was running.. lol i just kinda fell down

  • I used to get Charlie horses too, about 3 or 4 a.m. almost every morning. You're right, they are one of the worst pains ever (toothache definitely tops them but not by much). It's on my schedule to write an article this week on what I've been doing to prevent them and post it to my website. When it comes to these rascals, prevention is everything.
