Heresy is a rejection of God and the Church. they are not simply "sinning" or braking some "rule", they are going against church doctrine and consecrating invalid sacraments and invalid ordinations.
I'm quite disconnected from this problem (I'm Orthodox and we don't have this problem yet as far as I know) but even if the Catholic Church did allow women to become priests and bishops, don't these women realize that unless they have been ordained by a bishop, they do not have the orders they claim to have? They haven't been ordained.

Women are an important part of the RCC as the church itself is the bride of Christ served by priests that are male as Jesus' closest Apostles were male. Men have traditionally been the teachers of faith while women the nurtures. The Roman Catholic Church needs to open her eyes to the Scriptures and to the traditions of the Early Church. There MOST CERTAINLY WERE women priests, deacons, and bishops. Mary Magdalen was an Apostle. Junia was an Apostle. The Apostles are modern-day bishops through apostolic succession.

Catholic Church doctrine is not necessarily (and in some cases opposes) Christ's own teaching. May God bless these priests in their ministry of love, forgiveness and salvation as Christ taught.

It is sad how many comments on this page are damning and objectionable. They say more about the bigoted attitude of some so-called 'Christians' than the women in this clip. Christ commanded us to "love one another ....others will see that you are my disciples if you love one another."
I see little love here but only hatred. Shame on you. In the UK the Anglicans have had women's ordination for decades. Thank God my Church shows more Christian love, acceptance and forward thinking than you lot!

Heresy is a rejection of God and the Church. they are not simply "sinning" or braking some "rule", they are going against church doctrine and consecrating invalid sacraments and invalid ordinations.

I'm quite disconnected from this problem (I'm Orthodox and we don't have this problem yet as far as I know) but even if the Catholic Church did allow women to become priests and bishops, don't these women realize that unless they have been ordained by a bishop, they do not have the orders they claim to have? They haven't been ordained.

This act of civil disobedience can be looked at as them acting upon what the Lord has called for them to do, to work in the Ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is a gender-less Gospel. Therefore ladies, someday your works will be saluted by men in the RCC, but not today. Keep working, because the Bishop of Rome is but a Bishop, and not Christ. Last I checked, Christ gave no such order to hinder women.

There IS Biblical mention of women's ordination - as deacons (another order denied to women by the RCC). Women AND men were anointed by the Holy Spirit (Acts 1-2). Why? To act as skivvies to men (sorry, "minister to their needs")? No. And as for the welcome they'd receive from the Protestant Church, it would be warmer than the obnoxious evil venom that is seen here by so called 'Christians'..

And Paul's letter to the Galatians (3:28), and the early Church, and the women who were disciples of Jesus and so on. It is the Catholic Church that has warped the gospel to prevent women's ordination. Many Protestant churches welcome women as equals with men. And dont forget,, over 73% of all Catholics are in favour of women's ordination.

There are many women functioning excellently as bishops priests ministers and deacons in protestant churches. This should be proof enough that women can be excellent clergy. It's time to end the archaic practice of men only priesthood. This rule has nothing to do with God, it's about male bias and stereotypes against women.

But the fact that the main Church is missing a very important thing: to build real communities where all members feel part of the community. The question remains, what is the authentic Catholic Faith? Catholicism in the true sense of Universal, is found IN the faith of the ENTIRE Church. Anglicans and Old Catholics in Europe and the United States have welcomed women into Holy Orders. The Holy Spirit is moving through other branches of the Catholic Church. No these members are NOT Roman Catholic. As for the Pope not respecting female priests, that really isnt true. Women are an important part of the RCC as the church itself is the bride of Christ served by priests that are male as Jesus' closest Apostles were male. Men have traditionally been the teachers of faith while women the nurtures. It truely is beautiful bc God created male/female w/ different roles & in the church founded by Christ guided by the papacy, the tradition is still held today.

The Roman Catholic Church needs to open her eyes to the Scriptures and to the traditions of the Early Church. There MOST CERTAINLY WERE women priests, deacons, and bishops. Mary Magdalen was an Apostle. Junia was an Apostle. The Apostles are modern-day bishops through apostolic succession.

These women have been excommunicated already! They are not ROMAN CATHOLIC! THEY ARE PART OF ANOTHER RELIGION OF THEIRS, THEIR MADE UP ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, WHICH IS NOT IN SUCCESION WITH THE VATICAN/HOLY SEE!

As the song says, "Let us build a house where all can live." It is what Christ wants, I am convinced. And it is what these women priests and bishops are doing. The Church, as the Body of Christ, is more complete now in its expression of God.

With the ordination of 4 more women bishops, women are taking back their positions of ministry they had in the early the church. Its time to treat them fair and equal. The movement is growing. Can you see the parallels to the early suffrage movement in this country a 100 yrs ago? It will happen! Mainstream Catholics support fair and equal treatment of women.
