good mayonaise is simply eggs and oliveoil with seasoning. I dont see the fattening in that :) nice roll btw. ill try to see if i can get these products at the market, and roll one myself :)

how are you able to make the cut several times with the knife and it comes out clean? when I cut my sushi, the rice tends to stick to the knife and the sushi comes out bleeehhh. sometimes the seaweed doesnt cut because its a bit soggy, or sometimes the seaweed is still hard.

@Y0ugenie I had that problem the first time I made sushi, too. Then I read, that if you make a bowl of water with a slight amount of rice vinegar and salt in it; the rice doesn't stick to the knife. And I found that to be true. Hope this is of any help to you! :D

Yes, mayo, but it's Jap and has been done for about a hundred years or so.

Japanese mayonnaise is different. It's made from millet seed oil and some other ingredients. Tastes very different to S&W, Kraft, etc - very mild and smooth and distinctive.
