  • my dad works doing this

  • Few observations i made here...

when in intersections, just wind the side panel down and leave it alone, we get good joints that way.

And what it is with this screed? What is the compaction level, i see some deep footsteps....

I'm glad i'm working with Vogele and wirtgen machinery, 90-98% compacted surface after my machine with Vogele 1900 and TP2 HD screed.

  • At 6:49 u should have winged out about 3 ft. then sucked in real fast to make a nice wedge to take off on while doing incidetals. It also eliminates pointed joints which tend to break off easily.

  • @smokinjo79 No! He should have made a Nigger or mexican do it while he sat and watched!

  • why would you pave the mainline before approaches?

  • To Maintain the flowline through the intersections.come back later and paveoff from it

  • Im from Australia and over here we use wheeled machines. Is there a trick to keep the tracked pavers paving in a straight line?

  • @nige525 use guides, and track pavers should run a straight line better than wheel pavers. our cat 1055d's stray less than an inch in 100ft. you just have to keep them calibrated

  • This was interesting to watch. Almost complete with phase II.
