It's an app the runs off Data,and Qik is sprint only, apple has made their own now i believe, after finding out Android had the ability it a long time ago. there is more then one app that can do this I believe, on Android and apple.

i just tried the voice chat...but for some reason i cant hear the other person but that other person can hear me.....the visual is great.... just having problems with the two way hearing...??????
on my evo, when i open the qik app, then click video chat....it will have alllll of my contacts from my phone and a green telephone on the right side of the names, is that how its suppose to look?
Thanks for the video. This opened my eyes to a few things I wasn't originally aware of. I'm still waiting for availability of the EVO or the Epic for advantage club members. I may take which ever is available 1st to members but it's starting to look more and more like I may wait for the Epic even if the Evo is available 1st.
@afterbirth83 Yes i Know.. with a Crappy quality... and the iPhone are open to use someday on 3G network, like Apple said, but the operators need to change some protocols and improve the upstream and downstream. But, i give you this example: image 2 persons ( Deaf-mute ) using facetime and using Qik over 3G...and they will tell you wich is better. Look at this, even over Wifi is a lil bit laggy. ;)

@segr3do how can u say that facetime is better???? it maybe a little clearer but u can only facetime with wifi... thats fuckin gay. us ppl with the evo can do it anywhere we want.. and the clarity relies on your connection. so if u have goo signal or a strong wifi signal then video is just as clear as facetime...
@COD4G0D I dislike 3G... has poor coverage... is inconsistent (a lot of lag) and drops alot... thats why its better to have Wi-fi or nothing. I prefer Facetime because has better codecs and its the right way to have a great video chat on a smartphone. That are the facts.

Facetime is more clearer, but it only runs on WiFi, This runs on anything. But I'll still give it to Apple for quality purposes.
