1-Gasquet{more spin than any other backhand,power,depth,Consistency},2-Wawrinka{power,depth,consistency},3-Federer{lot of spin,pasing shots,lobs,flicks,best slice in atp,and solid down the line},4-Almagro{power},5-Youzhny{lot of spin,pasing shots},6-Haas{lot of spins,down the line},7-Kohlshreiber{power,running backhands},8-Ljubicic{down the line,diagonal},9-Fernando Gonzalez{amazing down the line with lot of side spin,best inside out},10-Blake{diagonal,}
The best one handed topspin backhand in tennis belongs to Nicolas Almagro without a doubt followed closely by Stan Wawrinka ... others are a few levels down ... peace out !!!
@zrxkawi Yea that's about right. A lot of people think Federer has the best backhand but its probably his weakest shot, although its damn impressive for a weakness.
If Roger had this guys backhand, he would be the most complete player ever assembled (even though he is already the best human born tennis player). His backhand used to be a lot more like Kohly's in terms of consistency and power but it's gotten worse as time has wore on.
soderling and kohlscreiber should be in top 10. soderling beat many great players along his way to the finals in roland garros. kohlscreiber also beat many great players such as tsonga, roddick and djokovic.
I really think and hope that he truly is the future NR.1 in the World!He´s got such amazing talent and skill but sadly right now lack´s in consistency.
Do you still think this??? It sounds completely crazy. I mean, i know i'll get a ton of thumbs down for this, but he can't beat any of the top 10 guys on a regular basis. It's simply IMPOSSIBLE!!
Extreme 1H-backhand right?

He's kind of ... skinny... or tiny... or something. Doesn't take away from how awesome it is when he's totally on though!

I love his heavy strokes, such power, what a backhand. I wish he would get more consistent.

Philip is the man, I think he has potential to beat the best players in the world, consistency is deffinetly what he needs.
